Man I did that for six years. It's just like baby sitting big ass babies... When they are in the world they want to be inside and when they are inside they want to be in the world. It's like being a trustee but you get to go home. Been there done that won't do it again. 14 bucks an hour to risk your life.

where was the guard when my son Brian hung himself and stayed hanging for 8 hours until he was cut down. my son was found in a vacant cell and the jail was notified he was suicidal when he came in. Sheriff wade said his room mate heard him ripping up bed sheets which was not true. This family still wants answers.Brian deserved more.

The simple and sad answer is that they weren't there. ALMOST NO ONE wants to be a Jailer/Corrections Officer. Most departments are extremely understaffed. Not an excuse. Just a sad reality. May your son rest in peace, You have my condolences.

The guards dont care u can ask fir toilet paper all day and every guard will say yea i got you and not do it, and get back to playing solitaire in the computer in the watch tower, sounds like they purposely try and give inmates a hard time

I dont think it's on purpose. You might have 15 inmates ask you for something and out of those 15 you might remember 5. Then on top of that you have another 20 asking questions before you even finish your check.
