My boyfriend wanted to get me flowers and I asked him not to because I hare to see them die too soon, I said if you must get me wildflowers. One day I went to his house and he took me around to the barn and surprise! He planted me a wildflower garden! This was 8 years ago and I still love to see them come up each year.
This shawl is just gorgeous. While I simple love all flowers My favorite flower has changed over the years. As a young girl and early adult I loved Carnations. I always loved the tight ruffled petals and that wonderful spicy aroma. As I’ve gotten older the Rose has become my fav. I just love the elegant appearance and beautiful aroma. This year I introduced myself to Zinnias. What a gorgeous flower! I’ve planted them in all my window boxes! They are just so much fun! The summer is flying by way too fast. Enjoy every minute! 💐🌷🌺🪷🌼🌸

I am in love with English roses. I love the rosettes, the depth of the colours and the heady fragrance. When I get my act together, I will plant some along the front wall of my home so the fragrance sneaks into the living room. I love the airy nature of this pattern and will be using a merino/silk mix in graduating shades of blue when making it. As always, Chandi, thank you for a wonderful pattern.
I don't think I've ever seen alpaca and bamboo viscose together in one yarn. That sounds so soft and breathable! I'm a big fan of clover, violets, and any other flowers that can help choke out my awful grass lawn while making the yard colorful and beautiful.

So lovely, it certainly does remind me of fields of lavender. I have always loved Peace roses from when I was a little girl. My mother had a beautiful rose garden and she loved grandiflora roses, huge sweet drooping petals with gorgeous colors. As a child I was face height with the blooms. One day she called me over and told me to peek inside a Blooming Peace rose’s giant beautiful bloom. That morning it had rained lightly and a thimbleful of rain water had created a tiny pool in the cupped petals. On the edge was a teeny lime green frog no bigger then my little finger nail. It pulled me to a magical place. I will never forget it.
The yarn looks beautiful, bamboo and alpaca sounds like a wonderful match. I love all flowers. I especially like to capture the smallest one's on foto.... but large sunflowers are also beautiful.
While I love love Lavender, I have to say Lily of the Valley. Not only is the flower beautiful, the scent is amazing. The Lily of the valley carries many memories. Growing up, one section of our yard was covered in Lily of the Valley. I was always excited when they appeared, I would have to make a bouquet for mom. Mom also loved Lily of the Valley soaps. So now when I smell Lily of the Valley, I always think of my mom, spring and picking the flowers. ❤
The hydrangeas that grows in a cluster are my favorite. They come in various gradient of colors and as I live in a tropical country, I can only enjoy these flowers in the mountainside. I am currently making your Adamas shawl and look forward to making this soon.

This flower is so simple, yet so elegant and mysterious. But overall I love all flowers, I admire the colours and the beauty they give to this world. I love hydrangeas and lavender! It’s hard to pick just one flower. 😊 We have both flowers in our yard and I love to pick a few when they are in bloom and enjoy them in the house in a beautiful vase. The lavender smells so wonderful and I love the color! The hydrangeas are gorgeous with their perfectly round shape and the colors are different depending on where they grow on the bush. Also, they last a very long time in the vase.

This is an amazingly beautiful shawl! 😻 I see making this and smiling through the memories of the women who passed the love of all flowers to me. This year I made a rememberance garden with peonys for my mom (pink were her favorite), Lily's for one grandmother, Dasies and red roses for the other. And a beautiful yellow rose that turns pink at the base as it ages for a favorite aunt. And around the bench are what we call Indian Blanket Flower. I have no idea where the seeds came from, but they grow wild in that spot. A beautiful dog I had used to always lay on that bench. As part Huskey she had a wild side so the flowers will be there as long as they want in her memory. My favorite flower is the Shooting Star ( Primula meadia). It is one of our springs first flowers; many times blooming along the melting snow. Swept back Deep purple petals with a small white stripe, & bright yellow at the center with a striking black stamin that points out like an arrow. To me it symbolizes new beginnings and hope.

This was one of my favorite projects to test so far. So much fun! My favorite flowers are the pansy/violet family. They remind me of the house where I grew up with a field of purple and white dots on bright green.
This is absolutely gorgeous. I can never narrow down my favorite plant or flower, but I live in reclaimed swampland in a desert. We have a bird sanctuary on the way out of the neighborhood, and among the cattails and reeds, you can see spots of purple thistle flowers coming out of the water. When the ducks and geese are hanging around, you just have to pull over and try to find a patch of dry ground to sit on for a while.

This shawl is stunning! Jane V’s designs are a pleasure to work with! I think that lilies are my favorite flower and second would be lily of the valley. Both have such strong scents that you know what they are and can find them quite easily. My mom used to take a lily and put it in a short flat vase, then she would surround it with large leaves from a tree. I was always in awe of this design, and thrilled that I got to help her create it. My mom has passed, so I don’t get to help her anymore, but my brother made me a watercolor of this floral arrangement and I have it displayed in my house in a place where I can see it almost all the time, but mostly when I think of her.
Love this design! Hard to pick just one flower, but my favourite plant to keep are geraniums. My grandmother, aunt, mother, brother and I all have a geranium that has been grown by my great grandmother on her little balcony. My grandmother has her balcony full of them and whenever we don't manage to get the geranium through the Belgian winter, we get another original from my grandmother ❤
If I had to pick one, which is really hard, it would have to be the Sunflower. I love sunflowers and how their head always turns towards the sun during the day, how majestic they look, towering over all other flowers. I love the beautiful large yellow flower that reminds me of the sun itself and the warmth we get from it. I love how it shows so much strength and determination to stand out among all the other flowers.
Geraniums are my favorite. My Great-grandmother had them hanging on the porch when I was small. So today when I see them, it brings back nice memories.

The colors of this shawl are beautiful They remind me of spring flowers. My favorite flower, however, is in bloom in the fall. The chrysanthemum, especially the pompom mum, is my favorite.
I love the shape of this shawl. It just looks so cozy. There are so many flowers to choose from. I would say one of my favorite flowers would be lilacs. I love how fragrant they are and the many shades of purple that are available.

I love gerbera daisies and begonias. I also love tulips and roses.
So lovely, it certainly does remind me of fields of lavender. I have always loved Peace roses from when I was a little girl. My mother had a beautiful rose garden and she loved grandiflora roses, huge sweet drooping petals with gorgeous colors. As a child I was face height with the blooms. One day she called me over and told me to peek inside a Blooming Peace rose’s giant beautiful bloom. That morning it had rained lightly and a thimbleful of rain water had created a tiny pool in the cupped petals. On the edge was a teeny lime green frog no bigger then my little finger nail. It pulled me to a magical place. I will never forget it.
The yarn looks beautiful, bamboo and alpaca sounds like a wonderful match. I love all flowers. I especially like to capture the smallest one's on foto.... but large sunflowers are also beautiful.
While I love love Lavender, I have to say Lily of the Valley. Not only is the flower beautiful, the scent is amazing. The Lily of the valley carries many memories. Growing up, one section of our yard was covered in Lily of the Valley. I was always excited when they appeared, I would have to make a bouquet for mom. Mom also loved Lily of the Valley soaps. So now when I smell Lily of the Valley, I always think of my mom, spring and picking the flowers. ❤
I have them in my garden, and they are always the first flower of spring.❤
The hydrangeas that grows in a cluster are my favorite. They come in various gradient of colors and as I live in a tropical country, I can only enjoy these flowers in the mountainside.

It's a lovely shawl! My favourite flowers are roses and lilacs. Roses are my birth flower and lilacs bring back childhood memories at my grandmother's and her lilac tree!
So hard to choose a favorite flower! Roses, calla lilies, lavender, daisies, rose moss, and so many others come to mind. This shawl will work up beautifully in a lot of different color combinations or even one solid color. This one will be fun to make.❤️😊

This shawl is absolutely beautiful! My fave flowers are daisies and lilacs. Daisies are just happy and simple and lilacs smell like heaven! Throw in the scent of honeysuckle mixed with lilacs in the spring and there is nothing better.
This shawl is wonderful, I love the colours! My favourite flower has always been Anthurium - the flamingo flower, especialy the brightly red one. This flower is so simple, yet so elegant and mysterious. But overall I love all flowers, I admire the colours and the beauty they give to this world. Thank you for this lovely pattern even though I must admit that puff stitches are not my favourite, but I take it as a challenge 😊❤
I love hydrangeas and lavender! It’s hard to pick just one flower. 😊 We have both flowers in our yard and I love to pick a few when they are in bloom and enjoy them in the house in a beautiful vase. The lavender smells so wonderful and I love the color! The hydrangeas are gorgeous with their perfectly round shape and the colors are different depending on where they grow on the bush. Also, they last a very long time in the vase.

This is an amazingly beautiful shawl! 😻 I see making this and smiling through the memories of the women who passed the love of all flowers to me. This year I made a rememberance garden with peonys for my mom (pink were her favorite), Lily's for one grandmother, Dasies and red roses for the other. And a beautiful yellow rose that turns pink at the base as it ages for a favorite aunt. And around the bench are what we call Indian Blanket Flower. I have no idea where the seeds came from, but they grow wild in that spot. A beautiful dog I had used to always lay on that bench. As part Huskey she had a wild side so the flowers will be there as long as they want in her memory.
My favorite flower is the Shooting Star ( Primula meadia). It is one of our springs first flowers; many times blooming along the melting snow. Swept back Deep purple petals with a small white stripe, & bright yellow at the center with a striking black stamin that points out like an arrow. To me it symbolizes new beginnings and hope.

This is absolutely gorgeous. I can never narrow down my favorite plant or flower, but I live in reclaimed swampland in a desert. We have a bird sanctuary on the way out of the neighborhood, and among the cattails and reeds, you can see spots of purple thistle flowers coming out of the water. When the ducks and geese are hanging around, you just have to pull over and try to find a patch of dry ground to sit on for a while.

I think that lilies are my favorite flower and second would be lily of the valley.
Both have such strong scents that you know what they are and can find them quite easily.
My mom used to take a lily and put it in a short flat vase, then she would surround it with large leaves from a tree. I was always in awe of this design, and thrilled that I got to help her create it. My mom has passed, so I don’t get to help her anymore, but my brother made me a watercolor of this floral arrangement and I have it displayed in my house in a place where I can see it almost all the time, but mostly when I think of her.

Hard to pick just one flower, but my favourite plant to keep are geraniums. My grandmother, aunt, mother, brother and I all have a geranium that has been grown by my great grandmother on her little balcony. My grandmother has her balcony full of them and whenever we don't manage to get the geranium through the Belgian winter, we get another original from my grandmother ❤

If I had to pick one, which is really hard, it would have to be the Sunflower. I love sunflowers and how their head always turns towards the sun during the day, how majestic they look, towering over all other flowers. I love the beautiful large yellow flower that reminds me of the sun itself and the warmth we get from it. I love how it shows so much strength and determination to stand out among all the other flowers.
Geraniums are my favorite. My Great-grandmother had them hanging on the porch when I was small. So today when I see them, it brings back nice memories.
