I'm an old lady watching a kid in a junk yard but we can always learn things. I am amazed at how you know so much about cars and can fix things in no time. Cool.
Love your junkyard videos. One thing, though, is the Pontiac Phoenix was related to the larger Chevy Citation, Buick Skylark and Olds Omega. In fact, the entire Phoenix front end (engine, transaxle and front suspension) was used in the rear of the Pontiac Fiero. The Pontiac J-body Cavalier clone was the J-2000, later renamed the Sunbird, a name first used on Pontiac's version of the 1975-80 Chevy Monza.
Yeah, that's right. I couldn't think of the name off the bat in the video. I knew it was a rebadged version of a few other cars. GM was known for this for a long time. My one coworker has an 80s Buick Skyhawk which is the Buick badged version of a Cavalier.
That black cavalier reminds me in the batmobile two-seater butterfly steering wheel he has ADD batmobile Batman and Robin and their case Kayla will be robbin and you will be Batman
I love to see junkyard videos make sure you buy some Rain-X the ice or for the B and your other color that melt the ice the steaks are windshield wipers and fun toss some of it a little spray bottle u spray the side windows and the iPhone qw
Dont worry about the logo thoes scratches don't matter if you gained cruise control..end of story can't believe that works...cool score.you need to do more these videos I liked it👍
I do like going to Pull A Part in cleveland a lot and just walking around seeing cars i haven't seen in a while. After that one black cavalier you saw and you went to the the blue one the same color i use to have back in the day and mine was a 5 speed manual, man i miss that car. looks good Wallie and have a good day sir.
I did not! It works perfectly. The wiring is already all there. GM's way of giving lesser options was to just make a cheaper steering wheel but the wiring and core are all there for a car with the premium features.
I enjoy your junkyard videos. Now, I read somewhere a number of years ago, as for cruise control, for vehicles, a legally blind guy invented cruise control. He was denied a patent for it and they didn't give him any recognition or credit for inventing cruise control. What disturbs me about all of this, I think the reason, the guy was denied a patent and not given credit or recognition, for inventing cruise control, is because he's legally blind. That's just not right. I don't know if the guy is still alive or not. I certainly applaud the man for inventing cruise control. I really like cruise control, especially when driving on interstate highways on a long trip. The Bee Friend is a beautiful car! Have a Bee Friendlicious Day!
I can’t imagine that modded cav was street legal once they cut the top and doors I would guess the structure was compromised. 🤮 loved this trip to the junkyard!
was wondering if you would be doing another junk yard video...always enjoy ...now you need to rename your channel....Wallie , the Bee and the big bad Z ...lol
Awesome video Wallie, these are the videos I like the most man. My dude work on more cars it makes you happy and you’re having fun you can tell. Great job on this vid felt like I needed to comment, tell you you’re doing a great job 👏 . Video was 26 mins felt like 2 lol.
My buddy had a 2005 Monte Carlo with a 3.4 in it and just for the record Miguel Earnhardt singer had his own car lot and North Carolina it was a GM dealer
wow so cool congration geting a new used wheel also that car look like futher or batmoblie ty for showing this so cool video i like that how the person fix that car look like batman or batwomen mobile :)
I remember when older cars (which didn't have all the computers) required you to put in a cruise control module to have the feature. Now it's just built into the car's computer. Seems kind of sh!tty of car makers to effectively hobble a feature as basic as cruise control that's really already there just so they can charge for the upgrade when you buy the car. Anyway, I'm glad it was so easy for you to make the cruise work. It willl make it so much nicer to take on a long trip. Trust me, I've gone on a 1500 mile trip without it and it SUCKED!
You got Extremely Lucky on everything you found and Did you find out if the Voice Command button works and those Rain-guards are OEM so that’s really cool you was able to save those to put on the Bee friend and as for The Pontiac emblem you could try some plastic restore on those scratches to try and remove them
Yes! I did know that! I'd like to get a set of Toyota Cavalier taillights for my Z24 with the amber turn signals but they're going for a fortune these days.
@@PMPAKULA it already has a pretty good sound system! For being stock, it has the nicer Pioneer speakers and factory subwoofer in the trunk. It actually bumps pretty damn good for stock! I was surprised how hard the bass is in it! Of course I could still upgrade to 2 1200 watt 12" kickers like I have in the trunk of the Z24. Then everything will be shaking. LOL

@@WallieB26, remember the Cadillac Cimmaron? I used to know someone who owned one.
I feel whoever had that car at the 10:30 mark was trying to make it look like the 66 Batmobile.
That black cavalier reminds me in the batmobile two-seater butterfly steering wheel he has ADD batmobile Batman and Robin and their case Kayla will be robbin and you will be Batman
Classic GM FWD Society!
I'm in that group!
10:40 was someone trying to turn their cavalier into batmobile from the tv show from the 60s
Cool Junk Yard video!
Love your junkyard videos. But I have never trusted cruse control. Lol I trust my foot
Nice 😀
nice to see the bee friend on here again. nate left you that car in good hands. i love your junkyard videos. have a good one wallie.
Yes! A junk yard vidio!
Good Saturday night to you. That Bee is a sharp little ride. Nate definitely left it in good hands.

Cruise control is a nice investment that saves gas money actually
Yeah cruise controls and stuff save on gas
Those window guards make the car look 100% better IMHO
Now that you've got a second steering wheel Kayla can pretend to drive from the passenger side
That red grand am next to cobalt reminds me of my old 03 Grand AM. I drove it till it had 256,000 miles on it.
I want that Phoenix! I had a 1982 LE 4 cyl. Power windows, stereo. 4 Dr hatchback. I loved and miss it. Engine self-destructed.
Thank-You Wallie, Enjoy Your Week-End,, Stay Safe !
Who knew batman once owned a cavalier lol the new steering wheel looks great in the car the bee friend looks awesome 👍

Im pretty sure you will need the clockspring for the cruise wheel
I did not! It works perfectly. The wiring is already all there. GM's way of giving lesser options was to just make a cheaper steering wheel but the wiring and core are all there for a car with the premium features.
@@WallieB26 Well that works then, my pathfinder needed the whole engine loom changed to give it factory cruise
Multi purpose sheetz that worked well actually

Loved the video and the picture of the BeeFriend at the end.

Love these videos wallie! I don’t find them stupid.
I can’t imagine that modded cav was street legal once they cut the top and doors I would guess the structure was compromised. 🤮 loved this trip to the junkyard!
Enjoy the radio controls and information buttons. I love mine in my 2010 cobalt.
Rain guards for free out of a junk yard yah buddy cool they cost like 50 bucks here good thing u got them off 👍
Hello Wallie somoga Minggu menyenangkan 🙋
Sampai pada tujuan 😎
what's ironic about that steering wheel is GM put that same style steering wheel in the C6 Corvettes
was wondering if you would be doing another junk yard video...always enjoy ...now you
need to rename your channel....Wallie , the Bee and the big bad Z ...lol
It would be pretty dope if you got a black headliner for that one, too
I think you like working on your car in cold weather
Interesting to see all those old cars
Very cool video Wallie thank you for sharing

Like the hills hat and video too
Were they trying to make that cavalier into the batmobile? Not my cup of tea but hey that guy did a lot of work haha. Love the junkyard vids 👌
Phoenix was Pontiac's version of the Chevy Citation.
Keep the original steering wheel in their closet wrap it and bumble rat put it in a box and tape it shut the right steering wheel for G6 in there
My buddy had a 2005 Monte Carlo with a 3.4 in it and just for the record Miguel Earnhardt singer had his own car lot and North Carolina it was a GM dealer
My buddy has a 2002 Buick regal supercharged 3800 is expecting crazy car
I wouldn’t hit that steering wheel bolt with a torch wrench just to be safe
The pin stripes on that black car makes me think it was a 66 Batmobile wannabe!
wow so cool congration geting a new used wheel also that car look like futher or batmoblie ty for showing this so cool video i like that how the person fix that car look like batman or batwomen mobile :)

Wallie, did you know there was a toyota badged cavalier sold in japan for a while?
Yes! I did know that! I'd like to get a set of Toyota Cavalier taillights for my Z24 with the amber turn signals but they're going for a fortune these days.
Gm car never had one
I never seen you do this
Call me next time you go Wallie. I would love to check that place out.
Was there a time you are recording an abandoned store and someone told you to leave
Because it was private property.
I do like junk
Don't you need some module too?
No! You dont!
@@WallieB26 haha my bad 😂. Yes I saw when the video ended! Now time for the rims and a sound system!
