Not necessarily my neighbor got a full house package for a 3300sqft house sides/roof/facia/soffit and delivered from ark to mo was right at 10k from metal supply out of Harris Arkansas but the trusses you got seem way over priced
Nice quick to the point video. Kudos for that. It seems like a pretty big span so I imagine a poured roof was likely going to cost much more than this? Did you even consider it?
I think we should have gone into more of the custom order side. I don't know why they were so expensive, but I don't think these were "normal" trusses. However, we don't have a lot of choices here. Next time we are definitely shopping around first.
@JOHNdOE-yy2ld we went through Builder's First Source. It was a great process because I had never done it before. They walked me through options I never knew I had, so we ended up with a way better truss/roof system than i would have chosen on my own. I've been told that we paid too much for them, but BFS made it easy.
The metal was way cheaper than expected and the trusses cost more than I expected. Good video. 👍🏼
The metal surprised us, too. Fortunately, we have an excellent metal dealer locally. Prices are WAY more anywhere else.
@@Mountainview-mesa That’s awesome. I

@@theslawek I definitely considered it. My inner child wanted the full concrete bunker. Cost was the limiter.

Dang the roof is more then the ICF
Yes, there are many places we could have saved more money and this was one of them.
How did you order your trusses?
