- I've now played OVER 70 HOURS of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth and it has been a wild ride! And in some ways I feel like it's only just gotten started! Here are my thoughts and opinions on FF7 Rebirth with NO spoilers!

Remake 1 was good but rebirth is a whole new level good, main world theme playing. Just about all the classic tracks that played so far depending on what location you are was so nostalgic man.

Whats the weapon variety like? Is the system similar to remake where each weapon has a unique ability (and maybe unique moveset) or are abilities tied to the folio system?
7 weapons each, each with abilities and you can learn abilities with folios also

@@GenesisVII my brother, it's going to be too difficult! Minigames aside, have you seen those VR challenges? Even fully optimized, some of the hardest ones take over an hour to do.

@@GenesisVII after suffering through the VR challenges of the Intermission DLC, I can't imagine having to maintain that level of precision and perfection for over an hour at a time, multiple times. SE has gone too far this time.

I forgot so much about disc two of the original but one thing I remembered for sure was what Tifa did for cloud. I’m looking forward to seeing that the most. With that being said, I’m looking forward to being pleasantly surprised with stuff that I forgot about.

What FF endings do you like?
I just replayed Remake for the first time since 2020, and one takeaway this time is that I actually quite like some of the side characters. Namely, Johnny.

I absolutely cannot wait for this. That rendition of the main theme keeps making me teary eyed. 😢❤
I just completed the GlassLands, and I have to say the open world part of this game is 5/10 it's just mid.
The open world stuff is just the Ubisoft stuff. Collect this, do this tower, and fight this mob.
There's no real point in exploring.
Story 9/10
Combat 10/10 if you haven't played Blue link after playing blue link the Combat in ff7 drops down to a 7/10 for me

Honestly the ending is fantastic, I personally love it.
I mean most games in the franchise crap the bed during the 3rd act or the finale don't see why VII Remake is some exception.
Do you know of a real reason why necron exists? Because final fantasy nine is a throwback and having The true final boss come out of nowhere is on brand.
