Wolfgang Novograts as Nightwing is a literal perfect cast.

First and foremost for a Nightwing before anything is get an actor with martial arts experience and some acrobatic ability or you'll end up with an Iron Fist situation, someone like Kyle Allen looks unassuming but has incredible fight and acrobatic skills, unlike Batman who has a full mask to cover up stunt doubles Nightwing is kinda left more open with just the eyemask and so far people like Brenton Thwaites haven't impressed in the fight scenes to convince that they were an acrobat from the circus.

ngl i just feel like the person that plays Nightwing in titans is the best casting for him bc he looks identical to him, and plays him to a t, needs a different kind of titans to play a true Nightwing, bc the current titans show is rather dark and doesn't fully show how Nightwing is as a person, the lighter and much needed comic relief that he barely got to show is something that is needed but would only work in this kind of project, especially with james gunns direction, considering how he did guardians.

@@benjacarrasco9447 Because it’s lazy pandering and isn’t gonna solve the problem that Hollywood thinks is so prevalent. They think there needs to be more diversity, which is subjective and can be argued tbf. But instead of simply adapting the minority characters that do exist or being creative and creating new original ones, they want to be lazy and race swap white characters. It’s also disrespectful to the people they’re trying to pander to because they’re essentially giving us hand me downs and are telling us that the existing minority characters aren’t good enough or interesting enough to adapt, so hey let’s just race swap these already established white characters. In a way it’s also like the job market today with affirmative action. A lot of companies are looking to fill a certain quota and hire people based on diversity rather than who’s actually qualified for the job and will help the company. Me, I’d personally much rather get hired based on my merits and actually earn the job/role rather than get hired because of the color of my skin. Especially if it actively excludes a certain other race of people. And also if that person is actually better for the job. It’s new age segregation. Hollywood directors and writers nowadays are lazy, have no talent, and are actually the racist ones but can’t see it. That’s why people (myself included, obviously) hate it. Btw I’m black, in case I had to make that clear lol. And sorry for that long explanation but that’s the best way I could explain it, and people with your stance have to know why it’s a problem.

I ain't got any ideas for young Damian. But for an older one, I think Aiden Gallagher (Umbrella Academy) has got the essence of the character

I don't think Supergirl has ever been a teen titan. the new Titans are Wonder Girl, Raven, Starfire, cyborg, changeling, and Nightwing. The old Titans are Wonder Girl, speedy, Robin Kid Flash, and Aqualad. later lilth and joker's daughter

I'd Have the Movie be about the romance between Clark and lois. Clark is just a normal guy who acts like Superman To Give Hope To Others. Lois would be Figuring out who Brainiac is with Kara and Clark Doubts Whether He Should Propose to Lois and If He Should Even Be Clark anymore.
Brainiac would Be Scary Like Pennywise With Him Just Being the Clark's Nightmares Personified. Him being Himself and Not Superman could be What Causes Brainiac to Get to earth.
If the movie was about the romance between Clark and Lois then the movie would tank at the box office big time, odds are it still will as kids ain't checking for DC nowadays and is more an older people thing compared to Marvel (I am a fan of both) Gunn just has to concentrate on making a movie everyone will enjoy (meaning the general movie going audience) and build on from there.

Also just to let you know that James Gunn is not a fan of child actors at all, this is documented, he doesn't really like them on screen and when he uses children he is pretty malicious with them in his movies that he directs and has involvement in (Slither, Super, Brightburn) and they usually end up evil or getting killed. I am a Gunn fan from years before he was famous. Plus Damian's got a dark side (which Gunn loves) which is why Gunn is using him upfront instead of other Robins.

Instantly clicked off the video once you tried to cast a black actor as Night Wing. I’m black myself and Night Wing is my favorite character. Changing his race is highly unnecessary. Static Shock is my second favorite Dc Hero. If they turned him white, I would feel the same way. Stop race swapping characters people already enjoy.

Well said, race doesn't even have to be mentioned, skin colour is unimportant unless a prerequisite for the character, Shang Chi or Black Panther for example. So Nightwing can be any race and only those with hang ups with race have a problem with that kind of stuff. @@unluckydreamer

@@schizofredericcompositionsBounce house logic & viewpoint. If this is the case then comics should just change the race of every superhero for every issue released nonstop. Batmans black in issue #1, white in #2, Indian in #3, Hispanic in #4 and so on and so forth forever. All this race isn't the essential to the character talk is fake and worthless because people identity these characters based off particular looks they're known for having. These aren't empty costumes flying all over the place.
And these comments right here shows that skin colour and race bothers you, the race is only important if it is a prerequisite for the character otherwise it doesn't even have to be mentioned, ''oh no Nightwing's skin is a shade darker than my eyes are used to seeing, whatever shall I do???...'' that kind of foolishness is pathetic and just exposes peoples problems with the differences of skin tones. @@Fartedbooty
