I'm with you Nag. Taking a good song and good series and randomly splicing them together does not make a good AMV. Even if you have the best ingrediants available, if you don't know how to cook all you are left with is a bad taste in your mouth. What truely amazes me is that somehow this has 70,000 views.
Great video, 5/5 no doubt. Funny description too. It's obvious that any one person can't create a show like this, but you might as well say it, to avoid any trouble xD

this was one of the most shocking and horrific moments of R1 and set up the stage for the rest of R1. The mourning lelouch went into after this happened showed how human he was. It was one of the most important events

@baconbit50 Because Lelouch told the police to "shoot" Mao rather than kill him. Thus he was able to go to the hospital and recover. Lelouch shot Euphie (though not sure where, perhaps in her chest or stomach) and had internal bleeding. So the two differences is that Mao was never ordered to be killed and/or that Euphie was shot in a vital organ.
@noufayame I'm not all too sure, but I think Lelouch was talking about Euphie falling in like with Suzaku and vice versa. Though, again, I'm not completely positive. But it'd make sense.
Two words, Nicolas. Coil guns. They use very small rounds as compared to conventional firearms. Euphiemia had a shot straight to the heart at close range, so she never had a chance. Mao, on the other hand, was shot from a medium range, and very few of them likely had much in the way of penetration power.
It's decent, but it looks like the seed of the AMV was based around Euphie's killing of the Japanese, which you didn't really have enough clips for. The beginning is good, with Zero frantic to stop Euphie, but after that it looks like you just needed something to fill the middle space and threw in a few clips. Besides that, nice work.
@iightz I don't have much to go on, but wouldn't seeing plenty of others do better mean one has a base to criticize? Let's put the example of watching performers. You may not be a performer yourself, but you can tell which ones are aces, good, decent, mediocre, and who should just leave the stage. Why? You've seen so many, you have something to base it on.
Honest you should have went thru leliuch while. Plan and had the end as the end of the series , I mean seriously he did everything for a reason , i love the video just making a suggestion , prefect song of the anime tho

@Sanroxem okay, even if they have the right to criticize, their opinion has no value if they can't do any better (at least to me). Wouldn't you intuitively think that they aren't more qualified to judge what is 'good' or 'bad'? And I never claimed that my AMV's are any good, i made them just for fun, a long time ago.

Euphie didn't want to kill them. Lelouch's power was too strong for her. He's strong enough to make Jerimiah betray his country and Suzaku disobey orders, which is totally contradictory to the things they believe in. It's terrible what Euphie was doing, but if Lelouch can't even control his Geass, how is she supposed to resist it?

good song and you have the idea but the flow was off to me. Maybe using some clips from R2. you just didnt seem to have enough material with what you were going for. but otherwise good amv, if you did an v2.0 it would probably be amazing.

Really nice, the song fits the plot well, you chose the episodes and scenes that compliment the song, and basically created something good.
