- After a longish dry spell, I'm back with a new AMV exploring one of the most complex relationships in Code Geass, that of Lelouch and Suzaku. This is the first video in what I hope to make a two-part SuzaLulu project, and it shows the antagonistic side of their friendship/rivalry.

code geass is full of plot holes and plot devices. it's entertaining but it's not the greatest. a lot of it is ripped off of Legend of the Galactic Heroes; lelouch was stated to have been completely based off of reinhard von lohengramm, the OG genius. that being said, it's still super fun to watch and lelouch has a very charming personality, but he is nowhere near as smart as the anime makes him out to be.
Alex R I'm not defending it as the number 1 anime, cause I don't think it is, I was wanting your opinion/facts, what were the plot holes specifically? Do you think that season 3 will fill them? And also, as a thriller series, it was definitely worth watching. And, by my standards, lelouch totally was a genius. When it comes to battle anyway. In battle, strategies are most effective when they catch the other person/army off guard, which he did multiple times. When it comes to battles, what it really comes down to is creativity, not book smarts. So by my standards he's a genius but to each their own.
Alex R Every anime have plot holes in it I haven't watched Galactic heroes so I don't know if code geass is ripped off or not I don't know about that character you mentioned and He is a groundbreaking anime character his journey from a highschool boy to zero from there to king Lelouch his character development was amazing and to me Lelouch was a genius he was a incredible strategist and if his plans fails he comes up with new plans I don't know what is the definition of smart for you and what you said that code geass shows him smart he is nowhere as smart I think you are talking about death note people make light yagami a genius I have watched the anime he was smart but not a genius L, Near , mello all were more intelligent than him code geass not shows Lelouch super smart in this anime they showed his plans weren't perfect but they worked and sometimes his plans failed
@@alexr8162 among the greatest and best anime. A masterpiece will always be a masterpiece but that doesn't mean it has to be only one. Also Lelouch is still at the top list as the most favorite anime character since 2009 and it's 2020 now. Replying to a 3 year old comment lol.

This amv is perfection. Like it was written for these two characters. I especially like the pistol shaking in my hand part-matches perfectly.

I think that Lelouch and Suzaku's relationship is one of the most complex in the Code Geass series because though their methods may differ, their goals do not. I find Suzaku to be a more likable character then Lelouch because he is more honest and compassionate, even if a little niave, while Lelouch tends to be more cold, calculating, and manipulative although more realistic in knowing what it took to achieve his goals.
Miss Elly their friendship is amazing
Suzaku is selfish. He doesn't care about the world, he only cares about having the moral high ground. Only near the end of the series does he finally sacrifice the moral highground for the bettermeant of society.

i didn't like suzaku and it wasn't because i wasn't on team lelouch, he just cowardly and hypocrite to me and cant get past his own feelings and even used nunnally against lelouch which pissed me off! Lelouch methods are wrong but he have a good reason and he even saved suzaku lots of times, and lelouch rather lie than actually tell the truth, because he would rather be hated. He said even if the beginning he was prepared to die... i really like lelouch. ^_^ SO PERFECT TO ME OF COURSE.
Suzaku also prepared to die and also didnt mind being hated, that is just splitting hair liking one over the other since I could say the same hating what lelouch did to euphie using her after the geass aftermath lol, at least he only has good intention toward nunnally. In the end I am for both team since I love them both.
Well actually when you think about it there is no "team Suzaku" or "team lelouch" There's team Suzaku and Lelouch because in the end they end up fighting on the same side. so I like that team better.

Yeah, Suzaku and Lelouch both were wrong the whole show. They redeemed themselves in the ending though.
Still stands as one of my favorite AMVS, damn, I'm such a hardcore Lelouch and Suzaku shipper.

On another note, I really need to finish and then rewatch all of Code Geass. I feel like I didn't enjoy it as much as I could have because I watched it late at night half the time...

This is a VERY good AMV. The 'tear my world apart' part was absolutely brilliant. And it does help that the pairing in this video is one my favourite pairings ever. Hoping to see the next video in the series soon.
This could, quite possibly, be THE BEST AMV I have ever seen. Not including 'From Pride to Shame, Sasuke Uchiha'. But this is EPIC. OVER 9000/5. Is epic. So far, only this, and Pride to Shame, are the only AMV's to make me cry. I am sensitive like that. All you other bastards can go to hell. w00t for Lelouch!!! And to a lesser extent Suzaku!!

Suzaku has less fans because he had everything he has handed to him by Lelouch. Without Lelouch, Suzaku never would have been able to take the approach that he was able to take. Diplomacy would never have worked. Suzaku's success was paved by Lelouch, who gave everything for the creation of a new world for his younger sister Nunally. For this reason, the real Zero, Lelouch, will forever be remembered as a hero by those who know the truth. This very select group of individuals includes Suzaku.
