Thanks, Mike! Eaglemoss is making so many awesome Batmobiles that are unfamiliar to me. It's always great to see how they handle the classics. This Batwing has such an iconic design and I'm really glad to have it in my collection. Thanks for watching, buddy.
I originally had something in this video about that incredibly lame scene when the Joker shot down the Batwing. It's at the top of my long list of complaints about the movie. Thanks for watching!
I am loving your reviews on the Bat vehicles then again I am bias when it comes to Batman and his wonderful toys. This is another I would love to get and that goes for the Hot Wheels version too.
Great review as always Richard. fantastic to see this up close...I love the amount of detail that Eaglemoss put into these. The cockpit has a lot of painted detail that i didn't notice from outside the case lol. The diorama with this one is especially cool...with the lenticular and clear stand etc. Thanks for the mention my friend. It's been my pleasure to help you get all these. Looking forward to the next review :-) (lol at depleted uranium rounds Bar!)
Thanks, Stewart! It's always surprising when you get these out of their cases. Eaglemoss does an excellent job with being faithful to the source material. They may not add the features that some of the other companies provide but they seem to be producing the best looking replicas. As always, my friend, thanks for your help.
Thanks! I'm kinda new to reviewing and making videos like this but I'm really enjoying it. I normally record guitar videos for my friends and family: ruclips.net/user/rkramseyfeatured I arranged and did the brief recording of the Batman theme at the beginning of my videos. It sounds a little rough because I basically do everything on my phone. Thanks again and thank you for subscribing.
Thank you! It’s been a while since I’ve done a new video but I’ve still been collecting Batmobiles. Hopefully, I’ll be able to do a new review video in the near future.
I bought a newer version of the hot wheels 89 batwing at target last week and I can't open the cockpit no matter how much I try. Did they take that feature off?
Pinder Productions Yes. Another subscribers special is the Bat-Tank from The Dark Knight Returns. I also have a video for that one. I'm not sure how easy it is to still get these specials with a subscription. I'm not sure if Eaglemoss still provides them for new subscribers. Sometimes it's easier to try and find them at a local comic shop. I've seen the Bat-Tank and this one at my LCS. Unfortunately, the Batwing and the Armoured Batmobile are particularly hard to find. Good luck and thank you for watching. Take it easy!
Thanks, Rich! Yeah, it's definitly a classic film. I rank it up there with Superman: The Movie. I grew up watching the '66 TV Series and I never really read comics when I was younger so this movie was my first introduction to the "real" Batman.
+Arkham89 - The Batmobile thanks for the reply mate , yeah i have pretty much all the 89 hotwheels cars really like your vids been following your channel for awhile , you inspired me to get the Eaglemoss one,, wasnt easy to find or cheap but im glad i landed one i also have the Series 2 Hotwheels batwing.
It's hard to find this one in the states. Most shops probably do not carry it because it was a subscribers special. However, I have seen it listed on several online locations (eBay, BigBadToyStore, etc). You just have to wait and see if one pops up for a decent price. Good luck! I really hope you find one. It's a cool display piece for any Batman collection. Thanks for watching!
Great review Richard. I am guessing that the gun Joker used contained depleted uranium rounds. And it was very accurate, with that long barrel. Lol. It's the one flaw with the Batwing i suppose(Or with the writers...).
Thanks, Barry! That was a serious gun that the Joker used and he was defintely an expert marksman. I'd half to say the flaw was with the writers and the producers being in love with Nicholson's performance. They really should have called the movie "The Joker" instead of Batman. Thanks for watching.
+DjJokerr It was originally something you could only get if you had a subscription to the magazine. I know I've seen it occasionally on sites like Big Bad Toy Store but it has become somewhat rare. I'd say keep it (or Eaglemoss Batmobile) in your search list on eBay. Something will eventually pop up. Good luck and thanks for watching!
Good reviews dude I absolutely love the 89 batwing and batmobile the batmobile I cant wait to play in arkham knight but you know I really wish we could play the wing with this as a dlc don't you
Carlo Cevallos Hey, Carlos! Sorry about the delay. The 89 Batmobile is the favorite for most Bat-Fans!!! Such an awseome classic design. Love the retro look. I was away for work this past week and it was driving me crazy because I knew the 89 DLC was at home waiting for me!! Couldn't wait to get home this weekend and drive it. It's so cool! Yeah, it would have been nice to fly the Batwing and I would love it if Rocksteady actually gave us a DLC that added the Batcave to the game. Thanks for watching and thank you very much for the compliment. Take it easy!
Your welcome mi amigo also more awesome news the tumbler is actually coming to the game this September I really hope they add the batman beyond batmobile and the bat-tank
+Jose Rivera Mine did not come with a magazine. I have two Eaglemoss Batmobiles that did not come with a magazine and they were both subscribers specials. This one and the armored/cocoon '89 Batmobile. It's odd because every other subscribers special that I have did come with a magazine.
Sorry. This was one of my earlier videos. Over the past couple of years, I've made a point to provide the size in cms and inches whenever it is relevant. Always trying to do better in future videos. I'll try and take these Batwings down from their cases this weekend and provide the size of the Hot Wheels and Eaglemoss. Thanks for the comment!
+Waylon Mercy This was one of the first subscribers specials they released. It's a really good one. I've seen it listed for sale on eBay and they are not too expensive. I hope you are able to find one for a good deal. Good luck! Thanks for watching. Take it easy!
If anyone wants you can subscribe to the line by going to batman-cars(dot)com I just subscribed after a friend sent me a copy of issue #1, the 89 Batmobile and it seems to be a great collection. Not cheap (they are sent 2 times a month at 19.99 each) but compared to the prices I've paid for NASCAR die-cast and the display cases (which aren't cheap either) and the little details they throw in as part of the diorama (Such as the two hand painted barrels, knocked over by the Batmobile in the Axis chemical scene of Batman and the small Batman figure standing next to it) they are a pretty good deal in my opinion. One thing I really like is that they are going through the entire history of Batman from every media source. One issue (I keep saying issue because it comes with a magazine devoted to that Batmobile and the what happened with Batman in the year that vehicle was used, they also send you a binder for all the magazines, too) might be the Tumbler from Batman Begins and the next issue might be the first car to be called the Batmobile from Detective Comics #48. One of the special releases I'm looking forward to most is the Batmobile Tank from Dark Knight Returns. You do get a few freebies for being a subscriber and staying with it, one is a replica license plate from the 66 TV Batmobile, two others are the Batwing that is reviewed here and a cocooned armored version of the 89 movie Batmobile, with two figures shooting at it. All in all, these are awesome for any Batman fan, car fan or geeks period. I can't wait to have an entire "garage" of Batmobiles in a display case. The label "toy" doesn't bother me, but if you don't like that and think people might say something, just say that these are collectors pieces illustrating the various years of one of our most enduring icons, pieces of history from our modern mythology. Sorry if this sounded like an ad, I assure it wasn't. I am just so excited about this collection that I want to share it with as many people as I can. This was a great review by the way. I just wonder how the Eaglemoss version holds up to my Ertl version from 89 lol
Wow! Thanks, Rowdy! This is all great information to share. I had heard about this line a few years ago and it's great that they are finally available in locations outside of the UK Ertl has a classic line of Batmobiles but those are currently the only models that are not in my collection. I never got past the fact that they slapped a big old Bat Symbol on the tops of the models. Still, I would not mind getting my hands an a few just to compare. Are they all diecast? Do you have the Ertl model from the Animated Series? Thanks for watching and I really appreciate the comment.
Thanks James, I hope you get the Batwing someday. It really is one of their better early models. The BAT video is up now and I did mention you. I also included a link to your Instagram page in the description box. Hope you don't mind. Thanks!
AWESOME review Richard! This is so nice man, love the Batman 1989 batwing design and this collectible is a fantastic replica of it. Thanks for sharing
Thanks, Mike! Eaglemoss is making so many awesome Batmobiles that are unfamiliar to me. It's always great to see how they handle the classics. This Batwing has such an iconic design and I'm really glad to have it in my collection. Thanks for watching, buddy.
Love this batwing from Eaglemoss
I wish I had room for these. I loved this Batwing except for the part when Joker shot it down with one shot lol great review

I really like all your videos so far! Where did you find that Batman theme intro you used for the beginning of your videos?
Thanks! I'm kinda new to reviewing and making videos like this but I'm really enjoying it. I normally record guitar videos for my friends and family: ruclips.net/user/rkramseyfeatured

That’s a great batwing.

My favorite super hero movie of all time! Nice review!

bit off topic here do you know what the differences are between the Series 1, 2 and 3 from the hotwheels version?
+RBtwentysix I could be wrong, but I think the only difference is in the packaging. Do you have any of the Hot Wheels models?
+Arkham89 - The Batmobile thanks for the reply mate , yeah i have pretty much all the 89 hotwheels cars really like your vids been following your channel for awhile , you inspired me to get the Eaglemoss one,, wasnt easy to find or cheap but im glad i landed one i also have the Series 2 Hotwheels batwing.
Is it possible to find this piece in the us ?

The Batmobile Haha. "The Joker!", Starring Jack Nicholson and Michael Keaton!
Where can I buy this? I don't see it on ebay.

Arkham89 Finally found 1 on ebay and bought it. Payed total with shipping around $80 but I don't care.. Can't wait for it to arrive from UK.

Jose Rivera it doesn't come with a magazine...which disappoints me.
The only thing wrong with this is the lenticular hologram. It does not look like the Gotham City from the 1989 movie.
size eaglemoss and hot wheels in cms please?
