This was a super informative podcast. I am 37 years old, skinny fat, and started doing dumbbell only workouts at home 4 days a week, and ate caloric surplus food, increased my weight from 64 to 71 kgs in a year. I definitely feel better, energetic, and no more skinny. I will now start a caloric deficit diet for next 6 months to lose the extra fat. while increasing my protein intake... in nutshell, if anyone can't go to gym, just do workout at home using pair of dumbells. NO EXCUSES
For everyone diffrent things works ..not necessary lifting weights should work for everyone..and walking for 1 or half hour and the way you walk also is an exercise ...We should use our own discretion..so many people talking so many things and that too contradictory.
Walking is steady state low intensity cardio..cardio is a legitimate category of exercise ( just like weight training, calisthenics). So stop inserting stupid click baity one liners in your video intro to get more views.
You should do a podcast comparing external weight lifting versus lifting body weight through yoga. And the person you invite should be someone who really knows yoga not someone who thinks yoga is about “flexibility and stretching”
Not a great podcast for sure. This is not very engaging. His Linkedin posts etc were actually good. But now i feel he may not be as good as i thought. My grand parents have been walking for many years. Diet is always 1st but walking is the best way to relax and get basic physical activity especially for elders. One should sleep atleast 7-8 hrs a day for long term health.
This Nepo doctor has no clue where WALKING is concerned, he is putting off elders who can’t do anything else, otherwise he should say he’s catering to the young who are his prospective patients. He could’ve put it in a better way, experience should teach him.

Brisk walk is a very good exercise, especially for people above 40.
It has less impact on knees and ankles when compared to running.
