Cheers Paddy. Yes, you have to time it right for access. I had tried a few times during the lockdowns without joy. The crowds are because you no longer have to pre-register, you can do it on the day.

I reached for a loose tree/shrub but let go as I could tell it wouldn’t hold my weight. They saw it as a reason to give me instructions for every footstep after that so I commented in Thai and had a joke with them to break the pattern lol. Cheers

It was certainly crowded Jimmy and it did make everything take at least twice as long. Until recently you needed to book the hike in advance but now you can just turn up and register on the morning. Cheers

Actually it was only the heat and the queues that were bad. If it wasn’t for them we would have been up and down before it got too hot. Hope you are well, cheers

This one had people and monkeys lol. But they were Langurs that tend to be much better behaved than the more common Macaque monkeys. Cheers

That looks like serious hard work, but ultimately worth it for the views and yes that lady was definately prettier than you!. A shame there were quite so many others on the climb, but beggars can't be choosers when they open it so rarely.

Conkers/conquer lol. It’s a great hike but there’s no doubt that the queues meant spending far more time waiting in the sun than would have been ideal. Some of the ladies on that hike were a bit distracting tbh. Cheers

Yes Tim. Previously you had to pre-register for the hike but now you can just register on the day making it more accessible. I suspect that’s why it was so crowded. Unfortunately the algorithm seems to reward the Soi walkers, soy boys and dizzy couples lol. Cheers
That wasn't a hike up a hill that was mountaineering going up mount Everest, but what a view I bet you where knackered when you climbed down 🥵🥵🥵 but i can guarantee the cold doctor Leo's did the trick.
It was a bit tough near the top that’s for sure. Unfortunately we had no time for any Leo’s when we got back down as we had to head for home. Cheers

As you said Karl for this particular hike being part of a group is probably better. Normally I prefer to go solo but being paced and having the security of people around can be worth having. Great vlog! And what a view!

This mountain peak is under control by Air force wing 5. It's jam pack like that because they allow certain fixed date in each month. 🙂
Yes but they have recently changed their policy from having to pre-register to being able to register on the day. I suspect this new policy increased the numbers on the hike. Cheers

Drives me crazy being able to look at the mountain from my patio knowing I’ll never make it up there. But after watching this I’m glad I gave up on the stair section. My knees just wouldn’t have made that. Really enjoyed seeing what I’m missing out on though. Thanks. I’ll have to settle for the stunning view from my patio. Pretty nice consolation prize, I love Prachuap Khiri khan, couldn’t have settled in a better place. IMHO

No way I wouldgo out on that view point,I found out the other day that my stability has gone. I climbed on my roof in Oz to fix a leaking tile. My balance is going.. I sucks to get old..
