My friend at church is actually working on developing a game based around King David! It's going amazing and Xbox even offered to buy the studio for around 100k! He turned it down, but his studio will be known as "church of the valley studios". So proud of him
Wow, this is a pleasant surprise for us! Thank you so much for talking about our game Lost In The Storm. We are working very hard and can't wait for you all to see the final product when it's finished.😊
@@Calz3n The controversy behind it is exactly that. Endymion has a vid on it. A dev was asked why on the 1st the ghey option wasnt there, they responded "Henry is a straight white Christian male". Which is completely differen to the response to why its there now.
So cool. Am excited to see how these studios will use new graphics engines..... if they could do with these like Warhorse did with KCD..... that would be so cool.
All of these games look fascinating, but Bible X: Gate Zero seems to be the best adventure. I love your joke on your friends not knowing what you're even talking about! 😄
Greetings. We are the developers of Chosen of God. Thank you very much for your video. It's great that you talk about us. I have a link for Steam, where can I send it to you?
as a hebrew speaker, at 16:45 it says "required"/"is needed" and not "wanted"... the word we use as "wanted" is מבוקש which is literally "being asked for"
It's never good to set any fictional story in the events of the Bible itself. No matter how you go about it, and no matter what your intention is, you're adding to Scripture by definition. There's a way to do games with Christian themes in a reverent way, but even that is exceedingly difficult not make presumptions about how God's providence would work in a hypothetical scenario. I've thought about it for years, and I cannot come up with any fictional Christian story that isn't built upon this premise. Even widely Christian-approved movies often rely on things eventually going the way of the believer by some act of divine providence whether by direct divine intervention or a spiritual intervention in the heart of the key characters. Either way, it's extremely presumptuous to assume how God would move in any hypothetical, and I think the right thing to do is to simply not touch it. I don't think the passion of the Christ should have been made even though I personally like it. There's many, many Christians who have pointed out Scriptural and spiritual errors in it. When we make Christianity the subject of a fictional story, it's too easy for the discussion around it to not be about Jesus Christ himself. And if it's not about Jesus, then it's not Christianity.
Great point, but to that point you have to concede that the truth of Scripture is far more complex than any piece of fiction could ever come close to recreating. So long as you make explicit notices regarding the creative liberties taken and do not claim that your version IS Scripture, then I see no problem at all. Otherwise, Veggie Tales has to go. The way I see it is if "The Passion of the Christ" converts even just one sinner to Christianity, then it is a net positive, so long as that convert understands where fiction ends and reality begins.
From what I've heard I think finances ran out and there is now efforts being made to pass on the development to another group (while keeping some original devs).
Tolkien says a work doesn't have to be explicitly Christian. Christianity comes in more effectively at the fundamental metaphysical level. > [Constructive Feedback]: Instead of abruptly ripping out stories of the Bible, these developers should focus more on telling fictional stories that glorify the Fruits of the Spirit amidst a fallen world filled with flawed people. Also, avoid asset flips and instead focus heavily on a unique art style (cell-shaded-Okami, crisp pixel art-Octopath, painterly-Journey) with a smaller indie scope. Bogdan's Cross looks interesting.
Honestly, those TruPlay games are just taking God's name in vain... not only they are bad copies, if you have any respect for Christianity you should avoid them like the plague.
Thanks for mentioning The Serpent & The Seed Joseph! Now I'm wishing I'd got you some more up to date footage! 😆 ruclips.net/video/B2gFKMjkYAI/видео.html
1.Looks lazy and shit... how is it comparable to a AAA game? It doesn't even come close top the level of most fan made/indie games, let alone AAA... 2. Okay this one kinda looks good, but we didn't see enough to judge at all... 3. What is Christian about this game again? 4. The first one that looks okay so far xD 5. looks worse than a lazy cashgrab chinese indie game... 6. lazy cashgrab... they are just ripping off popular titles and scamming Christians... Their biggest marketing is that it doesn't throw ADs in your face... but it's a subscritions... most NORMAL mobile games have no Ads if you pay for them lol... 7. we didn't see enough, but looks okay-ish at a glance 8. Looks like an average indie game, no idea what is Christian about it? 9. Okay this is the one that probably looks the best of all these games... but the link to it is private so I can't say more xD 10. The concept and the idea sounds amazing, but the game again looks like a horrible and lazy indie game Sadly none of the games even really get to the level of normal indie game, let alone actual good games...

Same here, I'd love to see it!
YAY! I absolutely love your channel! God bless you in the name of Jesus Christ
Long time since I've seen you in the comments! Welcome back
Thanks for the research and work you put into this! A great service! -Paeter

I'm glade you were able to make a video brother hope your job is going really well. I'm looking forward to the upcoming games as well.
Thank you! Things are going well, and I look forward to playing these as well!
We playtested 1 of 500 and really liked it!
Same here! It was really cool!
This video made my day.
Praise God!
Kingdome Come Deliverance 2 is not, NOT a Christian game. Just so no one is fooled into buying it.
Nope, but KCD is probably the only game I've ever played that required me to go on a pilgrimage to confess my sins by learning how to pray

14:41 yooo that combat is sick!
Ik, it looks soo smooth!

Bible X looks awesome! Haha I just enjoy confusing my friends 😄
The Main Character in ONE of 500 is called Benjamin, not Max; that's gate zero.
Oops 😄 maybe they'll rename him now
Greetings. We are the developers of Chosen of God. Thank you very much for your video. It's great that you talk about us. I have a link for Steam, where can I send it to you?
Bible X sounds the most exciting to me, and I’m glad children can enjoy a platform like TruPlay Games!
Absolutely! It's great for kids who just need something to play in a safe, contained environment

Yo jofae is back
IM BACK
One of 500 is not currently in development they have halted development for now, that’s all they’ve said in the discord 😔
From what I've heard I think finances ran out and there is now efforts being made to pass on the development to another group (while keeping some original devs).
Oh no! I'm talking with one of the people involved in the (hopeful) transfer. We'll see how it goes, praying!!
This got me interested 👀
Your so funny brother 🤣
Thanks Dylan! 😄
There is also a moblie game that's in the makes from Ruach Entertainment called Judges TD (tower defense)
Thanks for the reference, I'll definitely check it out!
"But my face is weird what can I say" 😂
Coming from a Christian and a gamer I support everything about this one game I want is a post apocalyptic fps or third person game
Im waiting on Chrstian Quest by St. Ignatios Productions to come out.
I'll have to check that out!
4:11 😂😂😂

Here’s another game called Judges Tower Defense (TD):
