Appreciate the review/video. Agree with needs a 4th kickstand. (thks for commenting about that!) I was excited until that was missing. Already have 4 panel, 3 leg setup and told myself not again. 😢
Thank you for the video. I have the OG version. 2 panels. They are supposedly NOT weatherproof by any means. Can you confirm that is the case? Also do you know if the new version is weatherproof? Not being able to leave these outside is a huge downside! Thanks!
Thanks, website says the new one is IP68 you can look that up on Google but, these aren't made to be outside for days on days. At that point get rigid panels
In this video you do a great job of physically comparing the new vs old and in your other you show the actual wattage you were reading with the new panel, but don’t compare the wattage output directly? I would love to see the nextgen 220w bifacial vs the old 220w bifacial vs the nextgen 220w (non-bifacial)…
Hello, great channel very informative. I have the EcoFlow Delta 2 Max and EcoFlow Delta 1300, and the EcoFlow portable 110 Watt Solar panels 4 of them. I was considering purchasing the EcoFlow Wave 2 and one 200 Watt EcoFlow portable solar panel to use for home use in case of emergency. Should I invest better in a room portable ac for home use instead of the EcoFlow wave 2? If so what portable Room A/C units you recommend? Thank you
Hey buddy, I’m finally getting back to you. I didn’t really get a chance to read what you wrote earlier. I was working yes I actually work a full-time job. I like the wave 2 but how often do you lose power is the question?
Not much only when we have a hurricane. Thank you. The wave 2 seems like a good product but it looks more likely use is for camping, and rv? Is this correct?
Overall bifacial panels are a pain. You better off just getting regular panels. Obviously if you already purchased them, just make the best of them. As long as you got the right angle and you’re connecting them properly that’s all you could do
I'm really angry now...this morning I shelled out 1200 Euros ( 1300 USD ) for a River 2 Pro+220W solar panels on the european website, and just discovered here that I will receive the older panel, which on top of being less efficient it costs more !! What a shameful business policy by Ecoflow... I am almost tempted to cancel the order...
@@TechMadeEzy Hi, no, evidently I didn't express myself well in English: what I wanted to emphasize is that two products with different characteristics are being sold depending on the geographic location of the store. And there is no legal reason for this: the two panels are made from similar material. No, it is a matter of poor commercial policy. If the European website had stated "Nextgen Panel" and then I received the old model, then it would have been fraud.
this product looks like a pure fail. basic mobile panels have front and back plastik like basic home panels glas front and back platic. premium panels fix fix mount have glas front and back so glas make sense but on the right way used. the front on panles is the problem what needs good protection for cells and good light transmission thats why glas if it is used always need be on the front. and now comews ecoflow change all rules and mount on the front creapy plastic like all flex panels have and on the back glas where it is absolutly not needet and the last spot to get mounted.... pointless in all therms , so this protoct becomes more heavy then all flex panels but same weakness to.....fail in any way.

Great video. I wish EF would have added a 4th kickstand. 4 panels should have 4 kickstands. EF cheaped out by only using 3.
Kevin thanks always appreciate your input 🔥

Have it. Doesn’t need it. In fact, depending on the surface sometimes I only need/use two. Great design.

Thank you for making a "How-to" for setting up. Instructions on box and paper insert are worthless. Your vid is super!
Glad it helped thank you
Realistically, how many watts can you get out of about 220 W by facial panel?
There's really no one number you could actually get more than 220 because it's by facial with perfect conditions, sun, limited heat.
Is having two 220 bifacial better than one 400 watt panel?
In my experience yes, but that's based off my experience with using 2 panels.
Hello, the link is wrong, it's for normal panel 220W, thanks.
Try this and thank you for letting me know

Alex thank you and what I would ask is that you follow up with me on this I'll have to look at it later on
Hello will do. Thank you

@AlexMartinez-vc7mx it’s made for small areas like tents or if you have like a small RV
Very unhappy with loss of power with bi facial solar panels.
Never again 😮
Love the dog 🐕
Thanks she’s in heaven now
what do you use instead? suggestions?

Unfortunately the nextgen panels are not available in Europe. I asked Ecoflow EU and there is no timeline at all when they might be available.👎
They are very new, but hopefully they’ll be available to you soon
@@TechMadeEzy I hope so. They improved all the negatives I had with the old ones. Better stand. Lighter. Thanks for the review. Very helpful !
Thanks buddy
Des voleurs !
👍👍👍👍
sad you cant buy the new one in EU
Hopefully that will change

Are you sure the panels said NextGen when you ordered them?

@@agvr5653 not just that. The ecoflow river 3 is already out. I got my river 2 pro 2 months ago
you made all this video and you have not work them side by side to see the real difference that is the most interesting 🤷♂
Just a comparison in the new design and changes

I have to say I like the upgrade and so far no issues for me, light easy to setup and performs well
