  • In this video, we look closely at the Sonik Vader X RS 2 Piece Landing Net. I've used this net for over 2 years now and am quite impressed with the value you get for the cost.
If you're thinking of buying this net and want a closer look at how it's made and performs, this is the video for you. We look closely at the Mesh, Net Arms, Spreader Block and Handle.

Hey Bert, I agree the SK-Tek Range has some thought and effort put into the production, nothing bad to say about it at all.

Thanks! It's been a very mild winter here so far, I'm hoping for an early start to the season this spring. Are you able to get out much during the winter?

95% of all my gear is Sonik, Except Reels (Daiwa), Terminal (Korda n Fox), I can say it has stood the test of time....100% confident in it, I do actually prefer the 1 piece landing net pole myself.

Hey Paul, yeah many pieces of Sonik kit here as well, I agree about reels, I use Shimano myself but many anglers here prefer Daiwa. I did test out the Sonik Vader X FRS Pro 10,000 reels but they need some fine tuning before they can compete with the other brands.

Ive had 3 of the dominator X rs nets, first one failed on its first outing, second one lasted about 5 uses!! The arms of the net just sheer off where they go into the spreader block which is a real shame as the handle is superb, ultra light and floats like a dream, it would have been better if they used a conventional spreader block that the nets pushes into and comes out of with ease

So what was your forth net and how is that doing.

In all honesty I go this wrong, my nets are the dominator X rs nets, absolutely beautiful nets but they need re inforcing on the carbon arms when they go into the spreader, one of them is still going strong and.been used hundreds of times, must have been a bad batch maybe?

Quality net Sir. Have the Vader X myself and only issue is sewing by the spreader like you mentioned 🤦‍♂️. Otherwise quality for the price

Great review. I'm wondering roughly how long the 1piece handle is?

Hey Tom, the one piece handle is roughly 71'' without the spreader block, with the spreader block it would be just over 6 feet long.
