A good majority of us are one paycheck or misfortune away from this reality. This is unacceptable. I am praying for you and your mom to find stable, safe housing. Don’t lose hope. God be with you both and protect you and see you to a better living situation. You are loved and worth it❤

Many people are just a few paychecks away from being homeless. I'm sorry it's happened to you. You can't rely on God to provide, you have to be proactive yourself! Look for a job is your no.1 priority. You need a job before you can look for a home.

Try a local shelter .they help clothes food and health beauty aides there few rules but beats being outside they special consulting to help money troubles and you'll see even washers to wash clothes . And showers .just Google the city put in homeless shelters ..

I am praying that you will find affordable housing that will be long-term and that you will be approved for Social Security according to God’s will. I’ve seen only a couple of your videos, so it’s possible you’ve received this advice already, but Senior Centers in your state may be a resource for discounted meals, computer access, or just a place to spend time indoors, out of the weather.
If I were to give you one piece of advice it would be to do your best to try to eat as many real fruits and vegetables as you can. You can also include nuts but they are hard to find inexpensive. There are places you can get inexpensive produce. I know that eating packaged food is a habit, so what I recommend is starting by adding one apple a day and if you can do that then after a couple of days you add something else maybe a large carrot. And you can get bunches of carrots super cheap. And just increase overtime the amount of fruits and vegetables you’re requiring yourself to eat each day and I bet you that even though you’re living in your car, you will start feeling better within 30 days.
It is cheaper and often more convenient to use small spray bottles with your own formula to make your own body wipes. You can make two or three different ones, for specific purposes. I use a small spray bottle in the bathroom with toilet tissue, just plain water, but you can put in a tiny bit of vinegar or baking soda, etc. Small spray bottles are good for face spritzes, hand washes, and they are also good for cleanups in the car. They can be used for spots on your shirt, cleaning off your toilet seat, wiping down food packages and jars, cleaning out storage containers, car windows, wiping off shoes, sanitizing public toilets and handles, and etc. These small bottles come in all sizes, are plastic and can tuck in anywhere. I use them all over the house for different purposes. I find a SMALL amount of vinegar is suitable for most needs. Blessings! 💗💗

Yes, vinegar is definitely a great cleaner as well as baking soda. My mother is sensitive to chemicals so when we have a home we clean with vinegar and dawn spray solution.
Make reflectix window covers for nighttime. Blocks light and also helps with blocking out the cold! Black them out on the sides facing out
I know you are doing the best you can and for that, I am not saying this in a mean way. But your back seat, the back of it can lay down to allow you more room to sleep. If you can get some sleep, you would feel tons better. I hope you and your mom find some kind of home placement soon. Perhaps your mom being a senior can get on a housing list or call her insurance company for resources. It looks like you guys have nice cars. Mine is 14 years old. But I am grateful and blessed to have it.
My initial set up was with the back seats laid down, but I actually had less space to lay down that way. I'm getting better at maneuvering and position myself with several of pillows to get comfortable. Senior housing/Apts all have at least a 1-2 year waiting list and my mother is on a couple. My car is 2013 and hers is older than that, but like you, we are very grateful to have them.

Hey Becky! We've tried all housing organizations through Congressman's office and others, but these organizations have been depleted of housing assistance funds because the need is overwhelming. The only housing option at this time is a women's shelter in downtown Atlanta and we choose not to go there. We know God's timing is perfect and everything will fall into place according to His plan. We are doing all that we can in our abilities, and He will do the rest. All Glory to God!
Yes. Planet fitness is around $10 a monthe maybe a little more to use a nationwide. They have big showers. Many truck driver use them. They are clean.
I had a nail in my tire yesterday! That thing was almost 3" long! How I picked it up I don't know. Also, if there is a Planet Fitness near where you are, their monthly fee is $10!
Winter is coming up,is there any family or church members that would allow you to set up a camper on their land?I dont know if you could afford a camper or not,but you dont need to sleep with your legs down all night,like siitting in a chair,you could develop trombonous veins.i am keeping you in my prayers

Truck stop fees are REDICULOUS!😢 As for "UNEXPECTED" issues...it happened to us at Quartzite! I was grateful we were able to cover it. QUESTION: Do u have any sort of health ins? You're going to need a heat source and insulated window coverings soon. There's instruction videos on the window coverings, attached with self adhesive velcro. You don't need to explain your finances to anybody. Hope you feel better soon. Maybe there's a sauna at the health club ?

No, we don't cook. I use my food stamps to get ready make food at like Publix such as salads and subs. My mom has her food budget and purchases items accordingly.
I apologize for I don't know yours and your mom's vehicle setups, but since you travel together, is there enough room in each vehicle to dedicate to specific needs? IE: like one vehicle for sleeping, storage and the second vehicle for kitchen/bath?
Not really. We don't have setup for kitchen or bath, we just sleep in our cars.

Our cars are old. Mine is 2013 and hers is even older. We would not get enough to buy a used RV or Van.

I know if I were there, I’d be more than willing to let you and your mom stay in my spare bedroom with king bed and tv. At least for the weekend.!I’d even cook few meals. We are able to shower as we have a local church's gym shower available only Mon-Thu in the am and through contributions on my channel I was able to get a fitness center membership and can shower 7 days a week day or night. My mom got a free membership through Silver Sneakers. Thank you!
Sadly, these days it's just not safe to do as you suggest. Even if people know the individual. It's been shown, many times, that some people ( not saying this lady and her mum) just refuse to leave in this situation. And it's Hell on Earth to get them out of your property again. People take advantage of situations, that's humanity today. I see why you're suggesting this but I'd be too wary, to ever offer anyone this option, in my home

I worked night shifts, so sometimes I slept in the car like you, but a bed is still a bed
And when winter comes, the car has to be constantly on and you have to have fuel, which is an additional expense

Her toilet is in the same location in her car as mine is, behind the passenger seat. We dispose of the "contents" in public park garbage cans.
My suggestion- I do not know what gyms you are near, I have a membership to Planet Fitness for $10 a month. This includes everything but tanning beds, which i don’t use anyway.
This is not a senior membership…..
The fitness center we chose is in the area we are in. There are no Planet Fitness Centers in close proximity of where we need to be, and the extra gas used to go there and back would make up the difference saved from membership fee.
If you don't lay your body horizontally for a certain amount of hours each night you Will get swelling in your legs... 🙏😿

You must have already answered this question but, why don’t you go to a shelter?
The only women's shelters are in downtown Atlanta and we don't want to go there. We have a concern also of being subjected to communicable diseases and with my health conditions and my mother's age we try to avoid illness. Another point is we don't feel we should take shelter spaces away from those who don't have the shelter of a vehicle to keep them safe.

Hi Janine! Yes, we have access to a local church's gym shower Mon-Thu in the am. My mother was able to get a free membership to the fitness center through Silver Sneakers and my membership is only $30 monthly and I can shower anytime day or night during their business hours.
