Survival
In a harsh environment where food is scarce and vicious poachers roam, danger waits around every corner. To survive, you must tread carefully and make difficult choices...even if that means eating your own Pals when the time comes.
Mounts & Exploration
Pals can be mounted to traverse the land, sea and sky-allowing you to traverse all kinds of environment as you explore the world.
Building Structures
Want to build a pyramid? Put an army of Pals on the job. Don't worry; there are no labor laws for Pals.
Production
Make use of Pals and their skills to make fire, generate electricity, or mine ore so that you can live a life of comfort.
Farming
Some Pals are good at planting seeds, while others are skilled at watering or harvesting crops. Work together with your Pals to create an idyllic farmstead.
Factories & Automation
Letting Pals do the work is the key to automation. Build a factory, place a Pal in it, and they'll keep working as long as they're fed-until they're dead, that is.
Dungeon Exploration
With Pals on your side you can tackle even the most dangerous areas. When the time comes, you might have to sacrifice one to save your skin. They'll protect your life-even if it costs their own.
Breeding & Genetics
Breed a Pal and it will inherit the characteristics of its parents. Combine rare pals to create the strongest Pal of them all!
Poaching & Crime
Endangered Pals live in wildlife sanctuaries. Sneak in and capture rare Pals to get rich quick! It's not a crime if you don't get caught, after all.

By focusing on survival crafting rather than traditional Pokémon-style gameplay, Palworld has made something unique out of two genres that have been stale for a long time. It’s still missing some big features like PvP, but given that it’s only at the beginning of its time in early access, it will only get bigger and better

personally, i hope they dont add pvp. it feels like the game is fine without it.
@@shock226It should be optional, I think the roadmap suggests the addition of "PvP Arenas", suggesting it will be limited to specific locations and only entered into willingly like choosing a separate versus mode, which should be fine 😄 That would be great on private servers between friends as it's just for fun, and no griefing possible on the public ones
I'd also want to see a Pink Slip option where you can agree on wagering loot and Pals as winnings so you can make things interesting

They have water and grass Pals the grass will plant food and water Pals will water. Different type Pals do different things some Pals have more than one skill.

This is the exact thing I thought, the layout and everything is practically ark but creatures that are pokemon/pokemon style
I bought ark survival a long time ago and I hated it. The worst aspect was the same as this game they're both survival game.
This feels like tears of the kingdom and Pokemon combined and you mix in guns, I approve.
I have been playing for about 2 hours so far and as of right now I really enjoy it.

Nice work. Was initially here to have a first look at Palworld gameplay for only a few minutes but i got stuck watching the whole video becoz your commentary was very entertaining
i just downloaded it on Steam and im totally looking forward to watching this series as i play.
They should've copied Pokémon much more: the type chart, evolutions, attacks. But still keep this survival/Zelda style. Screw GameFreaks, so they finally wake up when we all migrate to this.

I saw this game accidently while trying to find vids on the Minecraft BCG cobblemon {has Pokémon in it} today and I really like what I have seen, I liked and shared and I'm going to get this game, I'd definitely like to see you do more. well done and keep going.

I’ve read about how Nintendo is investigating but have not yet made claims. I’m just trying to figure out WHAT they’re investigating. Just swinging by to see what the "pokemon ripoff" stuff is about. I get its kinda Legends but better (graphics and gameplay wise by the look of it) and there's similar designs. But I guess gamefreak are the only people to think of elemental animals like a lightning lion or a round sheep before... amd they don't blatantly rip fakemons for their own designs
Honestly in a way, this is more realistic than Pokémon. Some of Pokémon’s description, like drifbloon, glalie and froslass is pretty messed up to be all buddy-buddy with them.

It is it's own game. They took inspiration from Pokemon, ARK, and BOTW. So far it's been an incredible success...2 million copies sold in 24 hour and 783K concurrent players, and is on track to hit 1 million players concurrently. It is one of the most successful launches in Steam history.
@@Joreel I played a tiny bit now, it's clear to see that it's greater than the sum of its parts. With more work towards release, people will be saying that Pokemon is a pale imitation of palworld
I praise the company that created Palword, as its presence puts financial fear to the pokemon company.
My financial advise to the pokemon company...make better games so that fans wont feel the need to buy a game that features pokemon-like monsters to kill.
It isn't gonna harm pokemon in the long run. It's just what's "cool" for the moment

They are not the same, but I will say they are similar. This is because the style of interface is a common choice in games.
