I don’t think you should do it, as is the GT500 and Dark Horse are decidedly different cars. With the increased power and supercharger, the Dark Horse essentially becomes another GT500, keep it NA to differentiate the two.
They’re charging 25k for basically installing a kit that Ford themselves will install on your car for 10k. The additional 40HP is probably just from the fuel and some tuning. Moreover, their car is actually slower than VMP’s 810 WHP base GT in the quarter mile. This is such a rip-off.
You could make the same 850hp for far less money if you just took it to a normal performance shop. The only benefit I can see of getting a Hennessy upgrade is the 3 year warranty.
Ford themselves will install the same exact supercharger kit for 10k and give you a 3 year factory warranty. Hennessey is just scamming their customers at this point.
