The fact that you organise your knives by colour provides more insights to who you are as a human than does your choice of knives! You're my favourite Knife Tuber by quite a long way.
I also have a Wave I broke the flat driver on that I’ve been meaning to send back for repair. I printed the warranty paperwork and have been meaning to take it to the post office for about 9 months now
7:40 (Sorry, not sorry) It must be a thing with knife collectors, no matter how dedicated they are, that they also have a collection of torches of various types and sizes. I've got several, from $2 junk pocket torches to a 1km throw spot torch, and a wide flood torch. For someone looking for a budget, yet very good flood-type torch that could double as a truncheon, may I suggest popping into the nearest Costco to check out the 'Infinity X1' dual power, 5000 Lumen flood torch? It comes with a rechargeable battery pack that can also double as a phone/device charger, another battery housing that takes 9 AA batteries, it is focusable to a spot (but is far better as a wide flood light), has three brightness settings and has an all-aluminium housing. The only thing missing is a pouch/holster. I paid $60 AU last year for mine.
I feel your pain with gerber multi tool cutters. Gerber allowed me to send it in and wait on warranty (total time about 2months). In the mean time I bought leatherman and have been happy. My gerber now lives in a drawer rarely ever sees light
Thank you for another great video Pete! Happy to see the Chef still in the collection. I picked it up recently and I love it! Can't seem to get the K390 work tho (that thing is a rust magnet). Interestingly, the Kapara seems to be missing :) I guess you can't keep all of them can ya? Looking forward to the Crucarta review!
I did not expect you to keep your knives in the exact same IKEA organizer that I use, I feel my parasocial connection growing even stronger. My collection is mostly black and gray, so instead of sorting by color I have 2 of them organized by a mix a handle material, blade steel, or lock type.
Mehhh after 50+ knives of many kinds, shapes, names etc . I concluded that SAK is always with me and Mora MG Companion Carbon which I love for simplicity, grip, sharpness, but for heft I have OKC SP-10 Bowie knife,it's a beast, hatchets and axe for wood chopping,I ain't breaking my knives...Proper tools for proper jobs... I like you because you like what I like...

I'm new to your channel. Nice collection. I also enjoy what I don't see - neck knives. I have knives in nearly every room in the house and plenty in the garage (kids are all grown and out on their own). I seldom need to pocket a knife with spares in the truck. I'll pocket one of those if needed. I like the Al Mar. Will investigate.
I’m interested in hearing more on comparing the Spyderco PM2 Cru-Wear and the Spyderco Stretch 2. I think they are very similar with the Stretch using a thinner blade and K390 steel. Do you personally find the Spyderco PM2 perhaps a bit too thicc (thick) for most tasks?
6:40 (I'm doing it again) I really need to send my Rebar back. It's very sloppy and needs a service. I also need to buy some new cutting blades for it as well. Might be easier to just buy another more versatile Leatherman and keep the Rebar as a standby.
My cruwear PM2 looks exactly like yours..I’ve tried just about everything and the micarta scale will not clean up like it was new…if you have any magic tips please let me know…thank you
Good luck with "the hole that can't be filled" at your age! I just bought another of the ONE knife I ever sold. So my score is 200+ to zero, although I don't count them. Or sort them by color.
Love my stretch 2 and the vg10 xl! Has anyone ever figured out how to get the frn scales clean? Mine seem to accrue suspicious mystery crud and removing it with a tooth pick is a chore
I didn't know how ( far or radical left we call them liberal Supremest here in the free state of Ohio) until the big C rolled through the world. We absolutely love Australia and it's wonderful people. However, having never visited many of us always had the Crocodile Dundee outback rough and tumble wild and free vision when thinking about our friends down under. To find out how authoritarian the government was. How many people were supportive of the draconian policies imposed was absolutely shocking to alot of us here. We just assumed the poison of the liberal supremest was confined to " Blue" city's here in the states. Was sad to hear about how many suffered those policies. Thought sure the Ausies would never take being treated like that. Sorry for the rant. Take care.
I'm very surprised that you still have the Civivi Lumi. Your review was so lukewarm that I thought for sure you'd bin it. It's clearly not a favorite, but I'm still surprised it's not in the shed.
Thanks for showing us another OCD method for storing knives. Too bad your version of OCD doesn't involve cleaning the knives & removing every speck of rust before it appears.
It occurred to me that you should keep some oil for your rustprone knifes in your cabinet so that the police gets lubed every time you see it develop som e rust.
Psych! I AM going to comment before the end of the video...again. 3:16 I have lately been playing video games AND editing and uploading videos. There is a reason why. I am putting off doing more work on my ute, so I just hunt through my folders looking for something to upload. If I can't find anything, I replay missions in the Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts series. By the time the ute rusts away, I should be speed-running the missions, and have dozens of pointless content uploaded...
Hope this question doesn't make more steam come out your head orifices.. buuut.. if you didn't have a Stretch.. would the PM2 take its place in the Top 3? 🙂
I HAVE THAT EXACT SAME FLASH LIGHT. I WAS SHOCKED AT HOW BRIGHT IT IS.I WORKED AT A FACILITY THAT IS 6 FOOT BALL FIELD'S IN SIZE, AND THAT WAS MY WORK LIGHT. IT LIT UP THE ENTIRE LENGTH OF THE FACILITY. THE GUARD AT THE BUILDING NEXT TO OURS SHINED HIS LIGHT AT ME. ASKING ME NOT TO SHINE MY LIGHT HIS WAY BECAUSE IT WAS SO BRIGHT. VERY IMPRESSIVE, CHECK OUT THE VICTORINOX RESCUE TOOL KNIFE. I THINK YOU'LL LIKE IT. THE SAW BLADE IT HAS IS MADE TO SAW THROUGH A CAR WIND SHIELD. CHECK OUT THE VIDEO OF THE FIRE DEPT. USING IT. I EDC ATLEAST 4 KNIVES, AND I ALWAY'S MAKE SURE I CARRY A FIXED BLADE, AND THE VICTORINOX RESCUE TOOL, AND NO PEOPLE. I'M NOT YELLING OR MAD. I ALWAY'S TEXT IN CAP'S.👍
You should try the "Harnds Assassin" If you haven't already, its a slime 14C28N about 3.75" blade, a good almost deep carry pocket clip, an some of the nicest G-10 I have seen.
He always perfectly rides the line between quality knife content and premium shitpostery. Inspirational honestly
The fact that you organise your knives by colour provides more insights to who you are as a human than does your choice of knives! You're my favourite Knife Tuber by quite a long way.
Your ability to organize is amazing, I just carry my PM2 because it was already in my pocket and is usually easiest to find.
Turning around the pictures your children drew for you to highlight your pocket knives is a move I wholeheartedly understand
“there’s a hole in me that I cannot fill” brother you are reading berserk, of course you’re empty inside
My every day carry is a Spyderco Delica. K390 steel.
Is that berserk deluxe editions on the shelf? Knife nerd, and a berserk fan? You’re basically the coolest dude on RUclips now in my eyes.
I also have a Wave I broke the flat driver on that I’ve been meaning to send back for repair. I printed the warranty paperwork and have been meaning to take it to the post office for about 9 months now
I have a Blast I've been meaning to send in for repair for about a decade. I feel your pain.
Yep, exact same failure.
i 140% agree with you on the PM2/Stretch2 comment you made....
Welcome back Pete... We missed you
Wow, the DBK knife! That one is impossible to buy...cool that you own one! It is a grail knife for me, lol
Was fortunate enough to get a neutron 2 today in merlot canvas Micarta. Those things sure sell out fast
Glad to see you carry the rex 45 every so often. Hope you and your family have been doing well.
Hahah! That chuckle when you said Leatherman squirt 😂😂😂 I feel like a 5 year laughing at that

Love that para 3. Probably all time favorite soyderco. Out of my price range. Hopefully one day lol
I’m far far away in Louisiana…old enough to be your grandfather…but i have a strange feeling we are very related…keep up the good work young man
I relate. All of my knives but 2 are either in a box in the pantry or in my car trunk
A sneak peek to Pete's knife drawer 🙊 oh boy🤣 just keeping t simple as usual. Love all this 👍👏
I feel your pain with gerber multi tool cutters. Gerber allowed me to send it in and wait on warranty (total time about 2months). In the mean time I bought leatherman and have been happy. My gerber now lives in a drawer rarely ever sees light
A hole inside you can’t fill 😂… I feel the pain.
Color organization 👍💃🏻🤠
I’m glad your making videos again mate
And lots of them. A tsunami (in the best possible way).

Awesome collection! I love my PM2 Cruwear except the blade play
13:05 Sir, how did you manage to get a nice and sharp edge on that Osbourne? Out of the box it used to be dull and "fat", made me realy disappointed
00:05 Ermagawd! The room is too clean! My eyes!
I promise not to comment again for the entire video.

There's a numbered DBK knife for sale on bushcraftuk.
Speaking of Ben his Big Banter is pretty nice fits most things I like in a pocket knife

As a knife guy I thought you would have a more exciting rotation. This round up was...pedestrian. interesting.
good to see you posting again
Love the Berserk collection. Even more impressive than the knives ❤
I went through my knives the other day and also discovered: more blue than black (by a lot, it turns out). It was unexpected. Happy New Year!
Try out these steel cutter inserts for your Gerber center drive instead of Gerber's carbide ones.

"OH no somethings fucky" 🤣
That Perpetua in the outdoor tool drawer made me sad; I feel it should be promoted to the bedroom.
What are those square things on the shelf above the knives, could be more room for knives without them lolz.

Thanks Pete love the channel 😀
The Graviton would be an amazing April Fools "product" for TRM
Long awaited update!

Instead of deoderant, try some magnesium oil. No chemicals and most of us are low on magnesium.
Does cutting oil also work?
No emerson?
Love my stretch 2 and the vg10 xl!
Has anyone ever figured out how to get the frn scales clean? Mine seem to accrue suspicious mystery crud and removing it with a tooth pick is a chore
mine cop a good ol blast with a high pressure sprayer from time to time
@@CedricAda now there is some useful advice.
“If you don’t like Ben you’re a monster” you mean a case collector???!!
Same thing?
here in Australia we are not allowed to carry a pocket knife, we cannot be trusted and daddy government doesnt want us to cut ourselves or each other
You might be surprised to learn where this video is from.
@@onodera3964 you don't think I know an Aussie when I see one? Get off the meth pipe

What’s your favorite Spyderco of all time?
Thanks, Pete. I enjoyed this (and sorry for the comment flood again...bad habit of mine).
hahha always a good scroll my friend!

I don't understand the fascination with Ben Peterson. I can do w/o the Mormon cult thing and I think he's Aspy. Literally zero affect.
Thanks for showing us another OCD method for storing knives. Too bad your version of OCD doesn't involve cleaning the knives & removing every speck of rust before it appears.
No Bark Rivers or Fallkniven in your rotation anymore?
the dbk is kinda the optimal amalgam of both brands
love your channel mate
You lose the endela?
in the shed until the next onion harvest
What Berserk arc are you reading now?
Didn’t include the watches. I’ve seen your taste in watches and knives over the years. Gotta be a watch box/mat/drawer somewhere in that bedroom haha.
"bloody CruWear" haha
“wanna see my multitool? it’s in my bedroom…”
** shows leatherman **
And during the shooting of this premium content...ahem...what didst thee has't in thy pocket?
Have you played Sword of the Berserk on Sega Dreamcast back in the day ?
Nice!
👍
You don't need just 1 Toyota Corolla. You need 3 fucking Toyota Corollas!
Do not like flipper knives
With liner locks, some
Frame locks are ok
But I do not trust a liner

That Berserk collection tho..................
Cubbies❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😊
Love that Berserk is kept further from the children than near two dozen knives, only makes sense fellow weeb parents
Hi bedrom
Was curious how you clean rust off your blades? Would love to see a video on that as I'm a novice with knives
My knives are way too clean. 🥴
Hey are you a ff7 fan?!?!
I certainly am
I don't like Ben or the TRM Neutron and now you are giving me a complex about it :(
Ah yes men jewelry 😎
Its called *Tool*erly because it can actually be used

and some say: wallets.
