Ordered my Mokka Ultimate petrol auto in May but due to the semi conductor shortage I'm having to wait until December for delivery. On the test drive: Positives I found the performance good - Front seats extremely comfortable - Well speced - Controls intuitive - Excellent driving position - Reasonably good handling bearing in mind it's a small SUV. Negatives: Cramped in the rear (although I rarely carry passengers) - No remote opening boot even in the Ultimate.
I have ordered my Mokka e back in June last year(2022), and only just got the phone call the other day to say that it’s built but still at the other end of the world. So the next phone call I get will be the dealer telling me I can collect the car. I have been waiting 9 months for it. God that’s a long time. It seems having patience is the key to life lol 🙈
Just Traded in my 2018 Civic for the Auto 12 Mokka and have to say it's been a pleasant surprise, it looks good, it's as comfortable as my Honda (so the Mrs says) it is far better on petrol 1 litre cvt on the Honda v/s 1.2 auto Mokka think they have done a brilliant job with the car..
So we have had a petrol automatic Mokka for 12 months. So the lane control is a pain. Getting in the back is another issue. So kids will be ok but if your an adult you will have issues getting in and out. We have the keyless entry. We have given up on this as it is so temperamental. Then one big issue is when we go to open the car with the key fob. We find the car will not open. The key fob stops working. So we have a trick now to get round this. We have to open and close the boot. Which I am guessing because we have keyless entry it allows us to do this. Then the key fob comes back to life. We can now open the car with the key fob. The car has been back 7 times to the dealer. Still not fixed.
Vauxhall/Peugeot have come along way and are some of the nicest looking car's on the road.Look at the new Corsa's and Astra's as well as the 508SW.The 508SW is a stunning looking car.
@@rivervalegroup Maybe, but I've only had my superb estate for a year which is very nice if a little big for what I really need it for.I like my big cars. There are too many nice cars,Mazda 3 hatch, new Astra,Mazda 6 estate Volvo V60 even the Koreans have stepped their game up.Who knows for the future.Great review of the mokka as my partner she really likes it as a potential next car.

If this were a dedicated EV platform. I guess the rear space and boot would be better. Should offer a handbrake..as an option? For EV, needs 65kWhr minimum.

I think full electric cars are an expensive overpriced con and we are rapidly storing up disposal problems further down the line. If pushed I could see the point of a plugin hybrid, electric for running around town ( cleaner air ) and ice for long runs and I mean proper 4 cylinder jobs not these 3 cylinder sewing machines the latest fad being to fit a small battery and electric motor and call it a mild hybrid ( saving the planet ) instead of admitting it's a desperate attempt to get good fuel economy and some performance out of these things. The last Vauxhall I owned was a 1961 Cresta, a rust bucket but a comfortable car that wafted along, couldn't accelerate too fast in case you left the body behind not sure about modern ones.
The larger Peugeot 3008 shares the EMP2 platform and has a rather nice but expensive plug-in hybrid4 version. Maybe Vauxhall does not offer a 4WD version of the Mokka because of the cost. ruclips.net/video/rsEnKVc4vxI/видео.html
The Mokka is built on the CMP platform which is built primarily for small superminis and CUV’s. The larger EMP2 platform is shared with the Vauxhall Grandland which does have the Hybrid4 engine like the 3008.
Sorry don't agree i got a mokka 2015 its been a good aground and only just put a cam. Belt on over 7000 Sometimes the one day critics actually not right ..
Sorry but I've never liked Vauxhall cars, even as a kid being driven in one from 1960's as my Dad liked trying out various models before settling on a make he felt safe in and that was Ford.
Crazy for the new Mokka?
Looks a sharp suited contender to me in the segment where appearance counts for a lot. Not sure about the visual comparison to an old Viva though!
Ordered one today!

Rest
At 11:30 the EMP2 platform is described by Stellantis as developed for cars with transverse engine and front wheel drive or four wheel drive.
Great reviewer, has a sort of easy authority and reliable vibe.
Cheers

Hi all how do I turn the volume up on the sat nav thank you
Same problem.
Once it’s speaking turn the volume knob up I think! I got my Mokka ev 2 days ago so definitely learning!
Not interested in electric. Any test on the petrol version?
Moka order went in today ,can't wait to get this beaut ,had a great time test driving today
Fantastic to hear it went well 👍 Wishing the best with your new Mokka!
Looks like the Designers have gone back in time to the HA viva square look
Steering wheel looks exactly the same as the last one to me, which seems weird when the rest has been overhauled so much.
Another first class review, Many thanks,Sir,🚗

Is the Mokka bigger than the Grandland ?
Hi there 👋 The Vauxhall Grandland is bigger, and offers more interior and boot space than the Mokka. Are you considering either of these vehicles?
@@rivervalegroup yes I’m considering getting a Grandland ultimate model 24 plate . I’m just doing a bit of research first 😀 . Thanks great videos

Thanks for your comment Jeremy 👍 Will be interesting to see how its improved upon in a subsequent refresh.
