As a person who also made trailers as a kid, you freaking go man! I'm currently 24 and it warms my heart to see kids like you so motivated! Keep doing what you love! Don't let others bring you down!
That's probably one of the best kits I seen so far for a bike trailer. To sell a kit to let you make the kart as big as you need it to be no welding just bolt it together. 👍🏽and get kids involved in building something best thing you can teach kids to be self reliance!!
Greetings from Canada! You guys are awesome. Your WIKE kit is made in my city, not far from me. I am interested in the kit to build a trailer to haul my camping stuff behind an e-bike. This kit looks like what I need. You made a beautiful job of your trailer. Thanks for the video!
As a young teenager you've done a spectacular job on the making of this video . You did very well explaining what you and your Dad bought and how your planning on putting everything together 👍💯😎 As for the (WIKE) trailer kit that's a awesome , well done idea for to what you're gonna do with it. Oh and Thank you for teaching me something that I didn't know came in a kit (WIKE) trailer , I just might buy me one of those for camping . Two Thumbs up for this video 💯👍😎
Nice build. I built up my WIKE trailer kit back in July of 2021, but more for carrying groceries and camping gear, so I put a large plastic tote on mine. One thing you should add on yours, is a hinged ramp on back. To make loading and unloading of the mower easier and to keep things from falling off the back. At least when you noticed your mistake, you had not bolted every thing together like I did with mine. Good job. It really is a decent kit.
@@MRS.354 Take a look at this video I put up on RUclips. Goes into detail about how I built it, plus where I got the kit from. A place in Canada, called WIKE, and there is a link in the description > ruclips.net/video/705_46cueXo/видео.html
Tip: When drilling metal, bear down on the drill and spin the bit a lot slower. Your bits will stay sharper longer. Take a look at a drill press and you'll get the idea. On hard metals like steel, use some cutting oil.
I was thinking you could probably build an extra trailer out of electric conduit that they use to run electric wire though they have elbows that you can run the round tubing through. No welding with that either just screws. You can get wheels from an old bike. The conduit is pretty light weight.
please make a flag, or at least a sign for this fine Trailer, so you guys can advertise for your business. you all can be very proud... children AND parents! best wishes from Dresden, Germany.
Nice work. I can imagine using this kit . I also need a work trailer . I just worry those nylon corner connectors would not hold up over time , like they might break. What do you think about that ?
Well we have used the trailer multiple times a week for about three years while putting two mowers, leaf blower, weedwacker, and other equipment on the trailer. It is a lot of weight but we have had zero problems with the quality of the trailer.
Great job guys do you have any updates on your business and what are you doing and how are you doing? How many lawns per day do you mow and that type of stuff you know how far away are your clients from where you live all that stuff pretty cool what you guys are doing congratulations dad you got a good family going on there
Hey, can I have a description on every thing you used? How wide how long? Metal type how thick of metal how long thank love the vids trying start a mowing deal myself!
Any chance you’d sell this or are you still using it? We are thrilled to have found your awesome video after our flatbed arrived. Planning to use it exactly as you have! ❤
I was really wondering if you and your son could upload a instructional video with measurements and everything else that a person would need to design and build this trailer for their own bicycle use I have a mountain bike and I'm looking for something to to transport all of my fishing stuff and fishing rods and coolers and everything that would go along with fishing to the lake. I think everyone would love to see a video like this from you guys please consider it and notify people when you get the video ready to upload. God bless you and your whole entire family. Hope to see a video like this soon.
by the way if you connect aluminium and steel parts it rusts very easily when it gehts wet, so maybe there is some layer of grease or laquer or something needed. (depends on the moisture/weather, it is just a little note, not nagging or so. i like when people do good things... and i like when it endures) may you all be blessed and safe.
You may want some sort of tiedowns to make sure everything stays on the trailer. a cooler for drinks would be a good idea considering how far away from home you go and how long you are gone. brakes may also be a good idea.
We put a strap on the back of the trailer after we finished it. There is some space under the leaf blower tube and behind the leaf blower that we put drinks, headphones, safety wear, etc. Thanks for the suggestion!
Great video 👍👍👍👍👍! Is it not upsidedown? As in when I build a steel trailer the frame or trusses go on top. Was looking for a lite weight trailer to pull behind a scooter 🛵 , and found this video. Looks like a great idea.
Awesome job man! I need to make something like this for my scuba gear! Tired of wasting gas going back and forth to the dive site by chance could you comment the link for those brackets you found
Say it don't spray it (spitting at the camera in the opening).. but keep at it. The tape on the ground was a clever way to size things up. If you enjoy this sort of stuff, you need to look up Paul Elkins. Nice thing about your framing kit is you can easily change the size as needed.
Great trailer, i will try to do the same, but i didn't find this black parts that you use to assembly the aluminium tubes, i don't know the name, i try to find in aliexpress but no luck. Can you help me with the name of this black parts, sorry english is not my first language, thank you very much. My daughter's trailer is small after 4 years using, so i need to increase size.
This is the kit we bought along with the metal, wood, etc. It costs $150 US. You can also buy the parts in the kit separately on there website. Website: wicycle.com/products/bike-trailers/diy2
To answer your question this year so far we made a lot more profit and have had a lot more jobs than last year. In fact we have made more money so far this year than from when we started our company to the end of last year.
No issues with assembly for me ruclips.net/user/postUgkxHL1v1R3NE5x4KiYfyt8dnQmyNYz7qi5L but I could see where some might benefit from using an experienced bike assembler/mechanic. I'm an older rider starting back after a 10 year break. This bike exceeds my capabilities and has been easy to get comfortable riding. I'm mostly on easy trails with almost no street riding and have not been disappointed with the performance of the bike. My fitness level is far below what I previously rode with and because of that the mileage is going on the bike slowly. While I'm losing weight slowly, the bike seems to tolerate my 220 pounds just fine. The bike has been used by several family members ranging from 5'5" - 5'9".

Nice work on the build and the video. For the audio, I suggest that the music should be not so loud. I really like the time lapse effects.

Yes it is upside down we did that because we could build in the deck a lot easier.
Why the attachment of the trailer to the bicycle is one-sided; with that bent drawbar ?
The trailer can only attach to one side of the bike and it allows the trailer to turn freely.

Do you mean the handlebar for the trailer to the bike because if so, it is supposed to be loose the help the trailer turn.
