hey guys, I pulled up to a t.a.and they said that they'll fix my problem with the abs light after 9 hrs!!!.. then I watched the video and took my knife to widened the proms.. and it worked!.. thanks for saving me money, time and being ticket!
Should the light intermintely come on with break press when you're rolling on the road or have the truck on and your stationary? I noticed you guys had the truck only on auxiliary like you said and did the corresponding procedure? This abs crap is confusing.
abs systems on trailers run on the brake and aux pins i'm thinking your aux pin isnt getting power, so when you press on the brake the abs system powers on. basically the aux line isnt getting power, and that is a fun fault to chase down.
A problem I run into all the time is the ABS trailer lite never turns on for its check ,This is because the AUX trailer cord fuse or breaker is blown from hitting a shorted trailer ,so no ABS>very rarely reported by a driver I usually pick it up at service Regards
If it was me Ken Id call that sensor drop out ,maybe loose wheel bearing ,Adjust that bearing ,pull that sensor clean it and shove it back in till it contacts the tone wheel and try it Regards
Well my turn reverse light wont go back in. I cant believe what the problem is. It's a new light for tractor and I bought the same light but cant get it back in. And no one out here anymore to ask.
5 years later, I used the knife to the 7-way aux pin. Problem solved. Saved me an unnecessary shop visit. Thanks guys.
I bought a trade from CIT in Mokena Illinois from melboig, so many Jerry rigged repairs through out this truck. I wouldn’t trust any word they say

Any reason you can't use an air module from the cutoff end of a Freightliner?
Back brake light on my 48’ flatbed stay on for about 30 seconds after I brake could that be abs or actual brakes?? Brakes are new by the way..

I can't seem to figure mine out. When the truck is off the AUX stays on.
I think my fault has to do with the sensor as the ABS light on my dash comes on at 55MPH and stays on until the key is recycled.

Split pin receptacle is a poor choice , use solid pin . On the road dip light cord ends in fuel tank to lubricate
