I have tried everything you can imagine, sprays, soaps, creams, supplements, probiotics, limited ingredient food, allergy tests, using a cone even, nothing has worked like this! Thank you so much! He’s had such bad allergies and pink paws he licks all the time and armpits too for 7 years. It’s only been 3 days and his paws are already much lighter and his hair is growing back. I can’t thank you enough!
Thanks for sharing!
Also try corn starch. Dogs sweat too. It absorbs the sweat.
Look up yeast over growth in their gut....
Chicken is an allergen for dogs.
Oh that's a great feedback. Thanks so much

@zaza umbra, Dr Jones says in other videos that ALL essential oils are toxic to cats.
* 1 cup of green tea
* 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar
* 1 tablespoon of salt
* 10 drops of lavender essential oil
* Mix it all together
* Sit the dog’s paws in it for 4-5 minutes, twice a day, for 7 days
question is, will your dog sit still for 5 minutes.
I thought salt mixtape all pads burn could you explain why salt
@@lazyhomeowner I know mine will not, so I'm just gonna spray her several times a day.
Are the 10 drop of lavender nescessary? Or is it just for it to give a good smell

Omgosh I have been struggling for more than 3 years trying to find a natural solution for my dogs itchy paws. I do not want to give him cytopoint or apoquel that the vets recommend because they have chemicals that are so bad for them in the long run besides being so expensive. I have tried baking soda paste, oatmeal paste, tea tree spray, bovine colostrum etc, etc to no avail. I felt so bad for him last night because he had been biting his paws so bad that he was actually limping. I prayed and begged God to please help me find a natural cure. The next morning I began searching on RUclips for natural cures for itchy paws and found your video. It was the 1st one I clicked on. Immediately after watching it I ran to the store and purchased the ingredients and soaked his paws and I PROMISE it worked right away!!! God Bless You and Thank u sooooo much. I will continue using this for the 7 days.
Morning,Debra, hows going on the treatment? You dogs are fine now?The lavander oil is from naturist shop or?Thank you,and all the best to your dog!🌹🌹🌹

Hi, I’m so glad this helped your dog, but do u mind if I ask how long did it help for??? Or how often did it reoccur & u had to do the soak again??? Any INFO would definitely b appreciated from u! Thx!😊

Here in 2022 watching this since my pup will not stop licking her paws! Thanks so much for this! I'll be trying this today!
Hi. How did it work
I love watching you as I see you struggle with the dogs like we all do. I wish you in America. I spent 600.00 to walk into a board certified allergist where I live. She had me put my dog on rabbit, sweet and regular potato, oatmeal, green beans, peas, quinoa . It helped his hair not fall out and the rash went away. But go ahead and TRY to find rabbit. There are backyard breeders but they are nervous about selling meat to you. Winco store actually had frozen rabbit from Spain for about 25.00 a rabbit. This is getting so expensive and now he is licking his paws and had a rash in his groin area. I decided to try a OTC anti yeast cream and it was better the next day. The Vet said they wanted to try a steroid and another bloody antibiotic. I told them I don't want to ruin his normal gut flora again. So, here I am looking for something natural with this amazing Vet. I need a new diet as all these carbs will feed the yeast or fungus.
Boy I needed this! Thankyou so much Doc! I spend so much on our zoo anything like help is so welcome. Bless you!🐾😻
Thanks
Thank's Dr. Andrew! I sure needed this one! Blessing's💝

Thank you, enjoyed watching this. Good treatment choice in the recipe.
Thank you! We struggled for months and this was the only thing that worked!
To my only vet a heartfelt THANK YOU
You;re welcome!
This channel is INCREDIBLE. I’ve found answers to things I’ve previously looked everywhere for. So helpful. I stopped to add, I use the green tea & acv recipe for my girl’s ears also on her itchy paws & have noticed it noticeably takes away her itchiness of both almost immediately. I use cotton pads to clean the ears, but in a spray bottle, the concoction can easily be applied to between toes. Helpful for anywhere that itches on her honestly. Sometimes I give my face a quick splash too for the antioxidant/ ph benefits😆 Thanks for the recipe!
So glad to hear that!

Hi did it work?
Dr. Jones, you are truly a divine gift for our animals.
Thanks Warren
Thank you for helping my little schnauzer 🐕🐶💖
I feel like with my dog it’s grass and good allergies. Switched food and it’s much better but he developed the habit so we tried giving him different alternative things to chew on. He’s old and doesn’t like bones anymore but I found a firm stuffed toy that sort of mimicked the texture of his legs/paws and he LOVES it - and now has something to chew and lick besides himself. Hope that helps!
Thank you. This labor of love has helped us in many ways, from minor issues to final moment. Blessings.
Thanks Joe

Yes, the ingredients in so many foods and treats ignite itching. I have a dog with cream colored hair. I've heard light lighter colored hair animals tend to be more allergies. I make sure no filllers and unnecessary ingredients as much as possible. Thank you!
Thank you so much for making this video!! I have been looking for something to help my Maltese, she has been licking her paws excessively for a year now and I've done everything! I will definitely be trying this!

OMG. Thank you so much. Can’t believe this. You are the most awesome
I have a Maltipoo and he would lick his paws and chest raw. Vets wouldn't help as they said it was a nervous action. It was food allergies I found out after doing some web search. I switched to grain free organic and his has done amazing things for him. I started him on Natural Balance Duck&Potaoes and he did very well. He is now 15 years old and I turned to the canned formula and mix it with Honest Kitchen Grain-free Chicken (Human Grade) and you would never know he is at that age. Runs like a puppy, plays fetch still and never ever licks. You can find both on Amazon or in the Pet Stores. Both are a bit more expensive in price, but they are Family and I do believe it has contributed to his long good health.

Thank you for your home remedy for the paw licking and allergies. I have taken my dog for four weeks now and they continue giving her an allergy shot which did good for her skin but not her paws. I will definitely try this recipe, as I love healing with natural plants, etc. I will definitely let you know how this will work on my dog.
I tried this but used Virgin Coconut oil and with one treatment my dog did not lick his paws that night. I love it will bath him today and do the treatment again after bath thanks.
Gege so you in addition to ingredients mentioned by the doctor, you mixed in the coconut oil too? Or was that a separate thing you applied to the paws after the soaking with original ingredients?
I love you so much thank you for this ! Now my pup won’t suffer !
You're welcome. Keep me posted!
I love this video. I'm a dog groomer and I see paw licking all the time.
I am grateful that I found your channel thank you for sharing your knowledge there’s not to many vets here that are willing to share knowledge without opening up my wallet. Definitely going to try this my vet put my pup on cbd oil for excessive paw licking and don’t get me wrong I have faith in my vet and it has been helping until the last few weeks. I was told that she was licking because she has a lot of anxiety, which makes sense humans have anxieties. I just feel at times I have done something or failed my pup if she is feeling anxious. Look forward to binge watching thank you again
Thanks

PRAISE GOD! Oh we are so trying this as soon as we can. Harley licked so bad one day he came out hopping, pads swollen so bad and an open sore. Of course I paniced and was over 3 weeks of heck. I sure hope it works cuz benadryl does nothing. This was my 1st video but not my last, Thank you!!!😊🐶

I did this and a tick came off from his paw 3 minutes in the solution. We had taken him to the vet and they just prescribed a spray 🙄 it didn’t help so we tried this and its actually working! Thank you. For everyone wondering my dog takes the trifexis and is showered everyday 3 days. I’m not sure why the tick was on there but it was. Poor dog 😕 he should be doing better now
Those nasty ticks always find their ways. tsk. Thanks for sharing!
my dog, who passed away last january, excessively licked his paw before bedtime or when we were relaxing on the couch. Always the same paw for the 11 years i've had him. He became very aggressive when we tried to stop him. I talked to the vet about it many times and they never found anything. They figured it was an anxiety thing, something he might've done in the past to soothe himself (i had him when he was 4). But anyways this video was interesting! It's good to know it can be due to allergies. I love your vids thank you for sharing your knowledge.
Sorry for your loss, and Thanks

So helpful and so grateful as I can’t afford to go to anymore vets. I am on the aged pension and broke!
I totally understand...the vets are so expensive..so I need to use home remedies..too..however the lavender is expensive..
Julie howard , try buying it from iherb 😊
Pipi is adorable in how she has to lick everything as you prep her soak. I have a Parson Russell Terrier that has been chewing his paws raw off and on for over a year now. I have only been to a conventional vet that pushes antibiotics and ointments that serve no resolution. Poor guy is now suffering through this summer with very tender front paws and most of his time spent licking them. I am taking him to a Pet Chiropractor this week to assess him and see if he is suffering with pain else where. Hoping some soft tissue as well as light therapy can help him. I will certainly try your concoction in the mean time. Thank you!
Thank you I will try it !
Great video, I'm trying this also. Thank you.
You're welcome!
Did it work?
I started watching some of your videos and love the advice you give! My dog is constantly licking his paws and they are red and stinky. Our vet Rx a med to help but it’s too expensive to purchase on a monthly basis. I’m going to try your remedy for my dog’s paws. Thank you Dr. Jones!😀🐶
Welcome
How did this end up working for you?
Just accidently stumbled across your channel. My chihuahua never had any allergies or itching but suddenly during winter, due to salt on the roads and snow melting between her toes = result -> yeast infection (we think) and excessive paw licking. After just 2 days of soaking the paws with lightly salted water after each walk and completely dry (hairdryer on low heat) and a thin layer of zink paste/cream (white colour in Sweden) on the redness and the excessive licking and redness is gone. What do you think as a vet? Is it a good alternative method?
Thank You Sooo Much from Puerto Rico.

No weight loss at all. Actually gained a bit more weight than before. I also recommend flax oil added to the food, I use 1 tbsp for 40 lbs of weight
The flax oil really cut down on the hair shed and odor

Can I put this on her body? My dwarf poodle mixed is scratching like mad. She has scabs all over her body!
@@DominicaTraditionalWear -does your dog have fleas that u haven't searched her body for? U should comb her DAILY with a flea comb.Get a container of water (4-6cups of water) & mix in 2-3 TBS of vinegar and 2Tbs lemon juice.. Comb her out by rinsing& cleaning the flea comb in this mixture with every stroke of the comb so the mixture gets into her fur and skin & fleas go into the water.I do this every single day for my 2 poodle mixes. Each dog is 15lbs and takes 15 min each to comb through their whole body.I also wash their feet, butt and belly and clean their tear/eye area daily.I always find fleas, regardless of giving them flea meds!!

Thank you I shall be trying this my little terrier is doing a lot of paw licking and whining a little too and chewing her nails, most definitely got worse since the spring arrived . Would a food intolerance cause this too or would there be additional symptoms alongside paw licking ? X
More likely environmental, but worth doing a food trial
Switch to grain free food/treats. You will see a difference in a day or two i promise!
Jellybean P hi they are fed raw and dont get any commercial treats, iv found recently with this very hot weather i wrap an ice pack up in a tea towel and place it next to them on their bed, my little terrier shuffles herself round and snoozes with feet on ice pack and my lurcher uses hers as a pillow or positions it around back,of her neck, i know shes had old injuries and is sensitive around neck, they are so clever given the opportunity to self soothe x
Could also be a sign she is in pain licking , whinning , dogs also lick thinking they can fix bigger issues and the whinning id take as a im hurting ? My dog did the same for about 2 weeks to find out he has 2 bad disk in his back and now takes meds when his back hurts him .
@@jellybean9478 Maybe not. My dog has been grain free for 11 years and still has this problem. I believe it's the additives and preservatives. I'm going to make my own dog food. It is the only thing I haven't tried yet.
