This is how to claim a free Sentinel Ship in No Man's Sky. The new interceptor update for No Man's Sky has given us a ton of awesome new items including Sentinel Multitools, Sentinel Jetpack and even Sentinel Ships. These Sentinel ships are unique per planet, so if you want to find a rare ship you need to search for it and the NMS Coordinates Exchange is the perfect place to look for awesome items in No Man's Sky. because of how easy starting one of these ships are due to the only damaged component being the pilot interface, you could easily make a lot of units just salvaging all the c class ships you run into, got 50 mil on my first ship salvaged.
The coordinates for this ship is ( -31.89, +100.01 ). I've also made a base with portal near the harmonic brain building called "Harmonic Brain Converter" for anyone who wants to find it quickly. As well the ship may bug when trying to access it, fix this by parking your ship in front of it, make restore point, reload the restore point, then approach the ship slowly till the interact interface comes up (stay away from the light pole, it makes it bug out and is what the reload is for). ENJOY!!!!
Someone parked their ship here so you cannot get the ship from here or the base it’s at. Whoever did it is a pain. Why would they park a ship in that location stopping others getting it?
@@JCoNetLTD Disable Multipler in the options, that should remove the player's ship. Re-enable once you've unlocked the ship and flown it.

Words can’t describe how happy I am that they gave us sentinel ships. I’ve been hoping for a long time for em. Here’s hoping the next thing they give us is ship customization
I'd like to own three or four 'carriers' before I got ship customization.

I really hope they give us the ability to build our own interceptors soon. Would be the perfect time to let us customize a ship type without having to rework the whole ship hunting system we have going. Future looking good. This update really reminded me of why I love this game. It’s the little things. Especially when they focus on main save content! Cheers

I found an S Class Sentinel Ship on my first one. Talk about some serious luck. This thing is BEAUTIFUL!
@7:50 "I love how the cockpit opens up, the metal turns into glass" ... it's not that the metal turns into glass, it's that rather than looking through glass, you are looking at displays that show you what is outside the ship. the ship has lots of cameras and it shows you what it sees on monitors in the cockpit so that there's no fragile glass, and the cockpit can be armored but yet you can still see what you're doing. If you've ever watched the 1980s movie, "Flight of the Navigator", you'll know exactly where they got the inspiration for this from.

For those that don't know, you can use your analyzer and look at ships to see what class/inventory slots they have without having to get in/talk to anyone

Another way to farm the ship is to find the camp save the location and just use the terminal there to find the ships, you don't need to go through all the process just abandon the mission and turn back to the camp and you're good to go. It does take some time and it's exhausting but definitely worth it.
but it will the be same ship, for different types you have to go to other systems.
@@SEPK09 good way to farm money though. Even C class sentinel ships sell for a lot of money.

Best way to find ships is get a good amount of the echos then jump to a dist system. Use one of the echos if there's no ship in the system it will say you can't use it here then you just jump to another system. You can get a few echos then doup them to save time and energy.
Also people in the space anomaly earlier were handing them out like crazy! Cheers

the beacon should still work if youre close to a dissident system you can jump to...
1 of the several ships ive looked at came from a beacon i got from my friend, just said the beacon leads to another system, so i brought up my starmap and it was in the system right next to the one we were in so i jumped on over looked at the ship and said no thanks... shit looked like a banana ugly ass yellow school bus colour lol. I still grabbed it cuz it was my 1st 1... and i cressent thee Flying Banana!😂
I'm digging this update so far. I had to leave my sentinel battle. It was going on 10 min and hey we're still coming.

I got one similar to this, but different after I blew up a sentinel freighter. I was able to get the signal thing to go three times without selecting the first C ship, but the second was also a C ship. The third was B class and the signal after that wouldn't give another location. So I think this probably depends on the planet and if you're lucky, maybe. Hello Games really did a top notch on these new interceptor ships, they are awesome so cool. Also the red light animation in front on the outside when it's parked. It's amazing the amount of detail on these.

I watched this video just yesterday and went to the snowy planet and my goodness it was busy with people arriving, hunting for ships, and leaving. So I was messing around a bit and someone emoted to me 'Over here!'.. and I followed them right to a ship. I thanked them a bajillion times, got in, and flew off. A whole lot of good people have set up comms stations to make it easier to find the ship locations too.
Also, if you are low on credits, scrapping one at the Space Station is very very lucrative. I scrapped a C Class and got 40.5 Million Credits.
The game makes a mission for you when you get the spike. I think that if you abandon that mission, the marker might disappear. I've gone as far as creating the harmonic brain thing that repairs the ship, but abandoned the mission before using it. I think I've triggered different markers after that too, so I think that might work for you.
Right now, there's a bug in game where the sentinel ship flies off on its own and the quest to get the brain calmed down remains active. Oh, and another bug, on that same ice planet, no sail sentinels are spawning.

i have downed several ships and yet to come across one with sails.
@@ShadowDeus No, the sail drones, the ones with the drills, I spent a good hour flying and running on that ice planet and no sail-drones spawned.
A good idea is if you need to replace a ship, instead of just switching it, go to a space station and claim the ship you want to swap’s scrap worth, then go back to the sentinel ship.

3:48 The way I did it was to go into my log and cancel the quest first. Then click on the Dreadnought fragment. I suppose there is a chance it will point once again to this ship, but for me (I did three times yesterday), it pointed to another ship on the planet.
Suposedly there can only spawn one type of sentí el ship per planet, only thing different is the rank
@@tntmaxter8607 Only one model type, yes. But I have found different color schemes of the same ship model on the same planet. So both color and class can vary on each planet, but only one model per system.

I doubt this game could get any better.
The only thing I can imagine is if they added different styles for sentinel freighters.
Completely forgot to mention, IF you have a strong space ship built for combat. Ive found that destroying sentinel freighters is a bit easier than hunting on foot. If I remember well sentinel freighters drop a signal that locates a sentinel ship for you. Even if your in a different solar system
For question of how to locate the ship, you can also find one if you get a starship message, the interceptor will pull up along side you and tell you a message, then it will warp to a different system, follow that and then you can land and do everything else.
Yeah that is one sexy beast of a ship for sure! I am building up a new main save, so this and a few others give me reason to run through the storyline quests so I can get all the glyphs. lol
I am curious how you farmed up so many of the brains though. I know the mirrors you can run up, kill the bot, then run away and the rest of the sentinels will loose interest like normal.
Farm all levels 5 of them i think, basically with your exosuit upgraded you can farm till you are bored out of your head.
I just made my squadron interceptors. Matches the sentinel dreadnought.
But won't C class squadron ships be bad in combat? Or did you use higher class ones?
I just discovered the enemy sentinel ships are the same as the crashed one that you can get so if you don’t want to just constantly grinder, you could just look at the enemy sentinel ships and see if you want or not spread this message so people know about this fact

anyway yeah its supposed to be like salvage. you claim the ship after your battle so it makes sense that the downed ship you find is one that just took part in said battle.
Also i have a theory about region too... if you go into your star map and go to a solar system in say a purple gas cloud youll end up with a purple ship.
I have a ship thats all yellow and the system it came from had a yellowish cloud... same thing with my purple ship.
though i havent actually put it to the test.
I also think the primary system race has something to do with the design of the ship... like the Korvax systems look different from the Gek and Vykeens.
Update: i might be wrong about the colour clouds... but im pretty sure now that system race effects them...
For the most part you can find the weird wingless ones in Korvax systems, the dump truck looking style can be found in Gek systems and the ones with the rare V wings are often found in Vykeen...
Though they can all technically be found in any system ...it seems its more of a probability thing, like the big clunkers and dump truck looking things are more likely to spawn in a Gek system.
@@ShadowDeus”the weird wingless ones” - are you talking about the small ones where the wings are not horizontal and on the top and bottom? I got one of those and it has the best stats for a fighter I’ve seen and is fast. It’s my favorite sentinel ship the only problem is it only has 24 tech slots. I have to keep the specific blue green red hyperdrives in my inventory.
I just fought a fleet of orange ones, and the one I found was black. I'm not sure if the shape was the same though.
man, i can't take a break... i mean, i was on my nms detox period of the year and they launched this update. i'm having the cravings now. i guess i'll have to reinstall nms.
4.22 fixed a few issues.
You no longer have to change your combat settings to normal.
also i found the best and easiest way to farm these beacons...
if you play with the free costs option active you can cut out the entire beginning and never need to go to a planet until actually hunting down your crashed interceptor.
go to any Dissonant system with a space station and unload on it...
get the sentinel force to spawn to 4 stars and head away from the space station with them trailing you, this way they stop respawning... kill them all. 3 more will spawn, kill them, youll get 5 stars and their freighter will spawn in too, destroy it. all done.
like i said if you play the game with the free economy settings you wont need to mine the purple crystals nor kill the purple sentinels on the planet surfaces. just use the beacon go to the ship fix it up and its all yours...
you can also just keep jumping from system to system attacking space stations and collecting the beacons.
also if you dont like a ship in a system just leave it or grab it and salvage it. buy do not use another beacon in that same system it will only lead you back to that ship or to the spot where it was.
I stumbled upon the Sentinel ship thing the other day. Mine is more red than black but looks good. Epsilon (Greek letter not word) Fire was a cool name too.
man i got the boxy sentinel interceptor with almost no animations not even a landing animation but this thing its got a lotta cargo space and i mean A LOT
Hey just thought I'd chuck out some tips I found recently for finding the ships quickly if you use an echo locator to find a harmonic camp you can use that same terminal as many times as you want so if you put a save point down once you've collected your sential ship you can come back and use the terminal to locate another ... so there's no farming for the items other than the required ones to repair the ships ... hope this helps its how I've been making money only need one echo locator for as many ships as you want
Also, second, you'll you do have to claim the ship for it to locate a different one is also useful for supercharged slots as all the ships will be the same on a planet. So find a ship you like and this is an effective way to reroll ships without reloading also makes tons of units in the process
Third and final is you can use the same monolith for all the brains and will be the closest monolith to the harmonic camp in most cases. if you chuck down a save point by it it'll make the whole process very quick and efficient

you can remove the marker via mission log, first interact with sentinel ship so it will register as mission, next go to mission log, choose sentinel ship mission then click abandon mission. marker gone.
This worked for me, following the quest however i ended up finding a duplicate sentinal ship. so i got both! the one from the mission and the one from the standard path to find the ship xD same color black and orange and same everything :P
You can do this on any Corrupted Sentinel planet, you can also destroy the Sentinel Carrier which will unlock this Ship.

They need to have more than 6 ships. Like a selector on the Cap Ship for what extras you want to show. This way you can have one of each Class. Explorer Hauler. Etc

@@michaeld.jconnolly1281 i play on Xbox Series X. Yes, its been 12 since 2 updates ago. Before that it was 9. It just doesnt show all your ships in your capital ship hangar. You can summon them though on planets

@@tonyrosaj I made up a 3-4 letter code for each glyph, that I use to write glyph addresses on paper. It goes like this:
sset, bird, face, dino, moon, ball, boat, spid, dfly, spir, hex, fish, tipi, rock, tree, tri
I made a new character for this update and man finding and scrapping the ones you don’t like the look of make you a TON OF UNITS the C class is worth like 39 mil
This season has been the first time I bothered to watch videos on how to get ships and as much I appreciate the time and effort it took for yourself and others to make and post the videos I can honestly say never again. Frustrating, buggy, planets littered with bases and communication balls, and it makes me wonder how much the planets are randomly generated for each player.
I just wanted some amazing looking ships. And they have outdone my imagination

Anomaly beacons are your best friend. Use one in any sys wait for a specific alert and it will lead you directly to the nearest downed interceptor.👍👍
I’ve found three of these a hunter class and a green one. Two B’s and a c selling for 35million for scrap. I think I might be able to seek out a 4th one but what a time sink.

I know this isn’t relevant to the title but I found a glitch that would most definitely help when running from players or sentinels, if you install the clocking device in your multi tool then go invisible and keep on spamming it no one can see you not even yourself and you can stay invis for much longer too
Or just dig a l shaped hole and wait for the sentinals to go away.
No one will believe me. But I had a Sentinel ship land at a trade post right in front of me, I just stumbled on an invisible pilot at the time too and I bought it. I actually first tried to add it to my Fighter Squadron instead of buying it because I figured it was a once in a lifetime opportunity to add a Sentinel Ship to my fighter squadron, but my squadron was already full and now I feel paaain. It was a C class called a Shard, I should really keep it forever haha.

I found it thru either a anomaly detector or the fact it told me to stop and I was being hailed by sentinel ship, then I offered help it warped to galaxy above me (I was in green star system) and it directed me to coordinates and I’m thru getting what I need about to probe the brain
for me the interceptor stopped me mid pulse drive then was asking for help so i just helped it and got it
3:50 not a bug specific to this but for all these types of actions when u search for something with a chart.
With Nanite farming you can upgrade the class of the ship to S class, just use the portable material processor to process inverted mirrors and crystals to Nanites.
Is it the same if you upgrade the ship to s class or is a ship that is s class already better?
Funny thing is, I somehow stumbled across **3 S CLASS** interceptors in the past five hours of playing nms, and all of them were back to back and in different systems as well, wtf is my luck today 😂

NOTE: On PC, I've had a number of those brain scans not actuate... took a good number of attempts.
I've destroyed like 5 capital ships now and it always says I got the ai fragment but i never see it in my inventory. Now i cant seem to progress and get my own ship

How do you find ships if you don't have all the glyphs/coordinates?
How does one find the portal thing to enter the address into? I didn't know they were important but don't seem to be noted in my visited stations/bases list. Is there a way to locate one? If I stumble into one in the future, how does one get back to it in the future? build a base there to 'tag' it?

I have now tried 3 different site and your site (which was one of the ones pinged to me after completing the 5 waves) multiple times and I simply can not claim any sentinel ships. I can select the light. I can interact with whatever that broken bot is behind the ship. But I can't interact with the sentinel ship at all.
Finally managed to get it to work. I reinstalled the game. It's still buggy as hell, but I can at least get the interaction button to pop up now provided I reload and don't get too close to the light.
The update changed the planet I was on to one of these new corrupted sentinel planets. So I haven't left. Found a ship but it's so ugly. Now I need to figure out what to look for to find a different planet, and how to go about getting a new ship.
Question, I'm extremely new. I put my multiplayer off but when I fly by I see these spots were there are save points and then a floating orb market thing. What are these spots? Are they were ships could spawn? And if so why don't I see them? I'm solo
i don't get it when you say "kill all the sentinels on the corrupted planet" - i stayed there shooting wave after wave of them for 15 minutes on all 5star and they just keep coming. what am i doing wrong?
Black and red is suited for the sentinels I know I just recently dropped but still it’s better then yellow or what nots 🤔
So I get to the planet, and decided I’d walk around for a bit and not 1 minute later I stumbled upon the ship. Jus walking from the portal
Interesting observations... I have been working one planet so far and I found that if you stay in an area and try to "summon" the abandoned camps or ship spikes, that it always points you to the same one, even if you have completed it. I found moving to different areas of the planet would find different camps (with the same MT cabinet class), but the ship spike would still be the same as the first. However, after I did a ship battle with a Dreadnaught and used the echo locator beacon thingy, it did take me to a new ship spike? It sounds like others are having different results ??!!
The ancient location does not come up for me. Any reason why? I'm doing this with another ship and cannot get the ancient location after I hit x to probe subconscious
I’ve noticed that MOST in instances, each planets have VERY similar ships.
Ships are the same per solar system. Same with exotics.
Jason you didn't have to fix it to find a different one . Go to the other end of the ship there's a dead Sentinel bot with a twitching hand take it offering that clears the ship so you can look for another.
Have they added any new enemies/factions?
Thanks got B class - its amazin. But I had wierd situation, when I foundthis ship it has beed taken by Vy'keen and he fly away :o. When I get back with Harmonic Brain ship was on it's place. Bug?

The ship launched on its own when I took the brain out, I've done everything you have to to make the brain docile but the ship's gone, just the marker is left behind
