Cadaver dog leads cops to excavate site in search of missing mother

Amanda Jones was 26 years old and eight-and-a-half months pregnant with her second child when she went missing on August 14, 2005, after meeting with the baby boy's alleged father to talk about custody. She has not been seen or heard from since. On Thursday, Jefferson County Sheriff's deputies armed with a backhoe and cadaver searched the grounds of the Hillsboro Civic Center, where Jones' final meeting with Bryan Westfall had taken place 14 years ago.
