Since the most recent retracking, the Yankee Cannonball is much smoother than it was in these days. Some say it's been robbed of force as well, but I'm not sure--I think it's just not as shaky.
My first coaster, 1970. We'd been to the park so many times and no one would go on the coaster with me. Had to get the nerve up to do it myself, on my own, at 9 years old. Scared, but loved it. Second wooden coaster: The Coney Island Cyclone. Heck, I' thought, I'd been on a coaster before--at Canobie Lake, this one has to be just as--OMG... what have I DONE!!???
@FanFCBayern13 Like I said, you haven't ridden it, so you can't call it boring until you have ridden it. And as I thought, you're all about height, as Colossos is almost 200 feet high. While I'll give you Colossos looks like a great ride, so is the Yankee Canonball.
The only bad part about rides like this is when you get to the brake run at the end... There are some days when you just wish you could ride on a loop without getting off.
My first roller coaster! I really liked Canobie Lake. Could this be the same coaster that I rode on a 6th grade class trip 1969? 1969 - Correct! Not fat thumbed.
hey guys... My school is going to Canoboe!!!! SO EXITED!!! And i PROMISED my friend i would go on the rollercoasters with her. Having second thoughts about that now i watched the vids. lol. Should i go??
No I went yesterday but if your light or you stick your hands up you go flying up in your seat. In the back no matter what you feel like your falling out
before untamed, this was the only thrill ride in the park and in New Hampshire. The corkscrew is boring so this is one to enjoy and after untamed it still has an hour wait and I still wait in that line to ride it.
It's a decent coaster. I been on it many times. I am not a fan of the high-backed seats. The seats block the view too much and it's not necessary on a coaster like this.
@FanFCBayern13 boring my ass. Have you actually ridden this? It's a great coaster that proves one doesn't have to be 200 feet tall to deliver thrills. It's in my personal top 10, and I'm in the top 4% (320 ridden) of coasters ridden on coastercounterdotcom. IF you've ridden it and have a comparable track record, then you can say boring. But I suspect you haven't and don't.
This is like my favorite ride there. I love action packed rides that have a lot of drops.

The scenes:
00:03 Yeaaah!
00:46 Woohooo!
00:48 Yeah!
00:54 Airtime!
00:56 Wheee!
How was that? Woah!!! from 1:39 to 1:44
The drops look so much smaller than they really are
Roller Coaster Classics like these make me glade I live in New England.
My first coaster, 1970. We'd been to the park so many times and no one would go on the coaster with me. Had to get the nerve up to do it myself, on my own, at 9 years old. Scared, but loved it. @Bendyournoodle Yes, they used to hang witches by the log flume ;)
(you're close, it's in Salem, New Hampshire)
Gotta love the classic out-and-backs. You guys should come back to Lake Winnepesauka near Chattanooga:)
can't wait, tomorrow i'm going, on a field trip, and this looks like my fave!
Funny word "HOW WAS THAT?" scene 1:40 at 1:45
@modelrollercoasters How should i ride it? I'm from Germany! Look at Collosos at the heidepark. That's a godd wooden roller coaster
the back is much better. every hill gets airtime in the back. even the little ones at the end. and its longer airtime. its such a great ride
cannonball at canobie or lake Winnie? which one is better? both look great!
It looks smaller than it feels
0:09 first time the line has ever been under an hour long
going there on a school field trip!
this is my fav ride here! line is always so long tho!
I love the Yankee Cannonball!
"the drops are so much bigger than it looks" it's fucking only 60 ish feet and 30ish mph im CRYING haahhaa
I love this ride :) It's so much fun :) I'm going sometime soon :) can't wait :D
Which is better this ride
Yankee Cannonball @ Canobie Lake Park
or Cyclone at Astroland NYC??
Were they rebuilding the wood on some of wood on this ride when you were riding it?
@FanFCBayern13 Like I said, you haven't ridden it, so you can't call it boring until you have ridden it. And as I thought, you're all about height, as Colossos is almost 200 feet high. While I'll give you Colossos looks like a great ride, so is the Yankee Canonball.
my first real roller coaster :)
Reminds me of the old Elitch Garden's Wildcat with the out and back L shape and parking lot turn around.
LMAOO the guy in the front cacthes you with the camera at 2:23
It's me or the sound during the POV sounds exactly the same as your Great Escape's Comet one ? Like if it was replaced by The Comet's...
The only bad part about rides like this is when you get to the brake run at the end... There are some days when you just wish you could ride on a loop without getting off.
looks like a great ride!
YAY POSTED ON MY BIRTHDAY!!
i loved this ride :)

Wow! That thing looks like it's gonna launch off of that 2nd hill.
Looks fun!
airtime! love it love it love it... more airtime!! weeeeeeeee!

Since it is from the thirties and made of wood, the turns are so bumpy. This was my first coaster that I ever rode
this ride is full of airtime especially if you sit near the back
my home park as well!! best coaster ever
I'm going on this with my cousins tomorrow :D
hey guys... My school is going to Canoboe!!!! SO EXITED!!! And i PROMISED my friend i would go on the rollercoasters with her. Having second thoughts about that now i watched the vids. lol. Should i go??
Going next Tuesday July 5th and I'm really scared should I be?
omg I'm going tm with my sister 😅
No I went yesterday but if your light or you stick your hands up you go flying up in your seat. In the back no matter what you feel like your falling out

Have you ever felt sick on one coaster?
I think I NEED to ride this!
@bigpboy1012 i would guess new hampshire cuz thats where the park is
LOVE Canobie Lake park
reminds me of Lincoln park in westport,ma so many years ago!
before untamed, this was the only thrill ride in the park and in New Hampshire. The corkscrew is boring so this is one to enjoy and after untamed it still has an hour wait and I still wait in that line to ride it.

like they're meant videos so much that they're funny
Love it!!! =D
I've been on this before with my cousin. We immediately died.... the drop was so much bigger though.
That my friends is a good ride
going tommrow
Haha, yes it's the sound from the "The Comet Wooden Roller Coaster POV" video. At least parts of it.
I thought I was going to die in the back. Every time I went up or down a hill I felt like I had broken a rib. Still had fun though.
Dis ride is so fun
I love it!
I know that the flag on the right is a U.S. flag, but what state flag is on the left?
bigpboy1012 probably Massachusetts's state flag
Is it me or is the sound messed up?
2 trains with 3 cars per train. Riders across of 3 rows avaibile 18 riders per train.
Looks like fun! Press 2, and 4 for the most annoying sounds ever!
There was no line...at all..usually I'm in line for like an hour.
fast ride
Such a baby rollercoaster.
Is it scary for a first roller coaster
No but it you don’t like a lot of air time or getting flung out of your seat pull back on the handle bars and push your feet forward
That looks bumpy!
When I wenr me and my friend were the only ones screaming
what happens!??!!?!?!!?
"Airtime"! lol
I'm only 15 minutes away from it.
@JoeyBanco Same :(
Uploaded 1 year ago today!
WOW

i like the corkscrew better its my fav one at the park
I rode it and I luv it
My seatbelt was popping off :(
My school wont let us go to canobi. They say "Your too young for Untamed" Cmon Ive been on Untamed TWICE. And im 13.
@FanFCBayern13 boring my ass. Have you actually ridden this? It's a great coaster that proves one doesn't have to be 200 feet tall to deliver thrills. 0:46 Non mi piace l'urlo! È brutto!
Nearly fell out of my seat cause I didn't brace myself, NEVER EVER again go on the Yankee cannon ball :O
But I did anyway, lol
That is literally me I almost fell out my seat 2
Ya... my sister she (was like 8) was literally floating in her seat, my mom had to brace her so she wouldn't fall out:-)
Sarina S. Yeah thts what negative g forces do for you. It's called airtime ans tht is what makes this ride so good.
After that comment... I want to go on this.
is it scary
i live 10 minutes away from canobie lake park no joke
yeaa
Summer time
I'm going on the 18 of july
