Over and over price on Amazon 😅
Just got the aw 32 4k oled thanks to ur vids. I love it !! Keep up the great work bro !
Awesome! Congrats on the AW🎉 QD OLED sure is next gen..
Its so nice to see your channel grow friend ! Keep up the good work :D
Thank you friend..
@@ViktorsReality yeah true :D
Just ordered the G8 for $1,000 and getting a $300 samsung credit on top of that. Hopefully it's a solid replacement to my new LG 34GS95QE.
Congrats🎉 on the G8!
What does Samsung credit mean? You get cash back to credit card or just $300 to use on future purchases?
@@Foxhole1776 sorry for the late reply, but it's a gift card that can redeemed on the Samsung site. So the way I see it is I got an additional $300 off since I had already plans on buying another item from their site.
Hey Vic, let us know how bad the Flicker is on the new G8, since pretty much alot of these new Oled's have that flicker, from what I have seen and reviews I have read. Thanks, great vid as always.
Viktor, looking forward to your eventual appraisal of the AQDMG……there have been some worrying developments with some reviewers suggesting it might actually be a matte panel with just a kinda glossy overlay..
(Hopefully not).
Keep up the good work 👊
Mine just arrived today. I have seen that. Asus messed up if true..
Looking for you video reviewing new firmware for Lg 32 inch woled monitor, it fixed the HDR quality according to parch notes
Thx for this update. Im unboxing the G8 today but will have a Vs. Video of this vs the LG so good to know to update before. Also the new nvidia driver fixed gsync according to the notes.
So, what is in your opinion the best option? I've already read all the disadvantages (no gsync, matte coating, 250 nits, no usb-c, white bezels...) but it's 750€ right now in Samsung Website applying discounts, so, after all not a bad deal compared to Asus PG32UCDM (1.517€) or LG 32GS95UE (1400€) or would you wait for an upcoming model? Acer or Alienware or something else? Thank you so much for your opinion man. These are prices in Spain (via Amazon)
Next OLED panels are the 34" but a bit interesting. They may have gen 2 pixel arrangement and miss out on some gen 3 things. More i fo is coming out. The price you say is nice. The G8 is the smart one while the G6 does not include sone AI features and that s.ooth motion with the processor. Tho 27" 360hz so far all qd oleds are pretty much the same.. the Asus is so expensive and stock is rough.. The G6 sounds good if you need something now
@@ViktorsRealityI want it for League of Legends, I dont mind about IA or smart things, anyway I think Ill just wait for Acer 480hz 26’5 oled, looks more compelling and with gsync but also more expensive, thank you so much for your answer and time man ^^
Did you get the monitor waiting for the review?
Yes.. Ill have a impressions tomorrow. So fsr everything is great. Design, tizen is so fast no lag at all. Even better vs the tvs it seems due to this processor found on the 8k tvs. Sdr is just ok while hdr looks as good as other qd oleds. Ill have some gameplay videos up too this weekend and on my other channel...
Now to the most important question
Do u get a 3 year OLED burn in warranty like asus/dell/msi ?
Otherwise nah, I won't pay so much money for something that doesn't even have a 3y year burn warranty
I get from different brand
oled nowadays dont have to worry about burn in unless you're buying an oled back in 2019
@@Keemochi420 stop spreading misinformation!
OLED burn in is stilla Thing and not going anywhere
Go look it up instead then saying bunch of made up stuff
PC Montiors with lot Static image are going to get burn in faster
And i already got mine burned less then 1y just like Many other's
Samsung says 3yrs but what does that mean. No specific info on burn in. So they do need to let ppl know like other brands.
Do u get a 3 year OLED burn in warranty like asus/dell/msi ?
---
well afaik only dell does cover burn in warrianty pretty quicky - with aw3423dw via reddit users they did recive...a refebrished (!) monitors after the warrianty claim :) yes with scratches.
as for msi - asus-etc - there is no info how the burn in will be covered by them - if it possible in your region - 3 years official purchase and you are safe. oleds will burn/dim the brightness sooner or later - this is how it works.
@@ALFGamingTV samsung just says 3yr warranty on the product description. No info on actual burn in. Samsung needs to be upfront. I wouldnt worry tho. This vapor chamber is a first and its pretty large. This chip is on their new 8k tvs.. so lets see if any good.
Soo. are these revised existing QD OLED or are they using next gen LG panels? Seems odd and doesnt align with road maps.
And you know Samsung.. they would market QD.. if they could.
These are QD OLED GEN Panels. Samsung added the smart features and vapor chamber cooling.
@@ViktorsReality Only the 4k has smart TV ft.
I see they added quantum dot color to marketing today.
@@jaszjsz yea only the G8 is smart. Samsung Marketing still lagging. Lol
Im So Happy today arrived my Samsung Odyssey Neo G8 with newest software update .. its not even on Samsung Homepage.. My Monitor was packing in 28.02.24 by IET HUNG.. im the most lucky guy on the Planet.. My Monitor has perfect panel... Holy Cow.. its so amazing.
Congrats 🎉
@@ViktorsReality its so amazing Vic.... 10 out of 10
Do Amazon have the 300 Bonus? If so where is the link.
My link has it. It will be in your account after item ships according to Amazon
@@ViktorsReality You think it is better than the 32 Geo8 mini led?
@@LinkCherryTree in HDR it will lool good. Plus the smart features. It seems to have AI picture modes. Whatever that means.. Ill unbox tonight for tomrrow hopefully its great. Tbo the Neo will be brighter and have more impact
@@ViktorsReality Yeah when you did the neo g8 mini led 32 inch review i bought it day one and i really love it i just dont want to buy a new monitor and for it to be a downgrade. I cant wait for you to do a review tysm bro.
Thx bro. This OLED G8 will be nice tho. HDR will be close but SDR... the Neo has that brightness lical dimming advantage. Mostly all these OLEDS can donly do 250nits in SDR while the Neo can go very high especially on the peaks..
Hey friend . Do you pref qd oled or woled lg 32 inch ??)) i cant find screen for me :) Asus pg32ucdm or lg32gs woled
Its really hard to decide. The LG does everything right. I enjoy it alot. The QD OLED does look better in colors. The Asus will be amazing for sure. They are just a bit different. Ill have a vs video on my Alienware and LG very soon.
@@ViktorsReality but I hear a lot of ppl destroy screen with smudge ( Asus) and can't return it
@@ViktorsReality Only issue is the fan, MSI and this G8 have passive cooling (and ASUS too). But then it's going to be QD OLED. I am still thinking about my choice. I prefer a good matt coating over glossy. Btw. over here (the Netherlands) there is only a "old display trade-in" discount of 100 euro's, so the price will become €1200,-. Other countries seem to have more luck, LG offers 10% discount on their OLED display which is €1400,- over here without the 10% off.
Here on Romania if i purchase the monitor we get 50$, not 300. And the price is more in total than in US
Im sure these will drop in price by Sept. Right now In UK or Germany its 10% off. Samsung says Prices/discounts will vary per region.
@@ViktorsReality also warranty is 2 years instead of 3
Even lcd shud start making semi glossy monitor now
I want a FULL GLOSSY Mini-Led 1000+ Local Dimming Zone 4K Monitor. I want to see how that GLossy Mini LED compares to an OLED.
The question is if there is a real difference between the AW3225QF and the G8 because I don't think there really is apart from the coating.
Ill test asap. Lot of ppl who are recieving the G8 are saying they are happy with the coating. Glossy would be perferable but thats good to hear.
@@ViktorsReality I don't get people getting offended over it. Be happy that you know have a choice. In the past we did not. Now we do. I also just upgraded from the 32GQ950 to the FO32U2P and if I am being honest the real improvement is in dark scenes. Apart from that the 32GQ950 was already quiet impressive. (Also when it comes to colors it is quiet close to the new OLEDs.)
True.. I habe been using my 32GQ950 for a while as my main. Other than that OLED quality on these new panels everything is pretty much the same.
@@ViktorsReality I was even not impressed by the response times. Maybe my eyes are just to bad. When will you receive the G8?
@@interceptor001 today.. Ill unbox asap.
I just confirmed with samsung csr, the 3 year warranty does not cover burn in
Do they cover anything burn in? Engadet said on a news piece that samsung has 3yr burn in warranty. Latest article i believe.
The csr told me it's standard manufacturing warranty and that burn in isn't covered... But if Engadget says otherwise.... It's like the LG situation again isn't it?
Edit- I just saw the article, it says 3 year warranty is offered but doesn't mention explicitly that burn in is covered, csr told me it's not and that it's a standard warranty..
@@stardust9329 man.. these companies need to be upfront. Samsung has no excuse.. thx tho for tbe info. Ill keep looking maybe they will change
Yea maybe like what LG did, need to create that noise for change !
Just get it at best buy and not worry about it with their warranty.
What's this lg32gs95ux model?? 🤔
Its the name of the 32GS95UE but for Germany
Ahh, thought it was like a dp 2.1 version 😅
If only this was avalible on amazon
It is. Links in description. I got mine thru amazon
That re search is bad. Its up On amazon
getting all excited for nothing that LG monitor is only the one released earlier lol
Lol.. still our german friends will be happy
the samsung or the lg ??
matte coating is a hard pass for me, it doesnt feel premium to me, i choose to order the asus pg32ucdm insted 😁
I just looked at my Glossy G8 34" and its sure nice so lets see how this matte looks like. Glossy sure is best tho overall..
@@ViktorsReality yeah, my experience with matte oleds is not good, i had the Asus pg27aqdm and the matte coating on that monitor looked so grainy, and bright whites looked dirty because of it, but iknow that all mattes arnt the same but glossy will always be king for me 🙌
so you're telling me that this monitor has a matte coating and will also light up magenta due to qd oled? i mean for real? :D :D :D
Literally taking the two worst things from current QD OLEDs and WOLEDs and putting it in one package 😂
@@jdp117 🤣🤣
Alright matte coating, skip for me. If you're okay or need a matte coating, you're better off getting a miniLED display. You're not gonna notice the bleed in a bright room.
*Stares at C2 checks used sale prices.
Lol
it’s a matte finish
People really seem positive about the coating.. interesting
Sounds good..Cant wait to see. This thurs I will have an impression video.
Samsung would be the last monitor brand I would buy … I don’t know why but I always prefer alienware or yes - asus - …
Who ironically both use Samsung panels lol
@@ronniekregar3482 yes that’s right 😅
That why your bad at games lol
I mean, it has a lot of good features. It just depends on what you're looking for. I bought one as it will be for mixed use part smart tv/ part monitor/gaming. It's in the bedroom, and being able to flip on nextflix/youtube with a remote is a win to me.
@@RJ_331The problem with Samsung monitors is that they tend to have a lot of QC issues. This has been consistent with the majority of their monitor releases over several years. I really would never buy one of these at the prices they’re asking. More often than not your Samsung monitor WILL have a defect.
These are collecting dust at microcenter
Lol.. then its time for that samsung discount..
yeah. overpriced, matte coating (super anti glare -yes yes on oled) - this WHITE bezels all across the screen to make the user mad and rinning for a light switch/hoping for a night time asap + no 3 years burn in warrianty... we got an ultra no-buy combo here guys.
250 nits lol pathetic
Disgusting matte?
Yup🤣
