Scott states at the end of the interview that he loves the state of Nebraska, loves the fans, and is fighting with all of his being to win. But at the beginning of the interview he said they were out played, out schemed, the defense didn’t change up their looks enough. If he’s fighting to win, with everything he’s got, then everything he’s got, isn’t good enough. Personally I would like to see Frost more animated on the sidelines. Get fired up, get after some kids when they miss a play, or make a play.

So here I am, posting this on November 26, a day after NU wins at iowa with Mickey Joseph at the helm. The defense, coached by Bill Busch have at least changed their mentality from the time of this video-- which now seems like a year ago.
Frost seems nervous, almost like he's trying not to laugh, shifty, jittery-- and looking back, he probably knew it was over.
I see all these people feeling sorry for Frost, but I'm not one of them. His blunders, lousy coaching and never developing players cost him. In many post game pressers after a loss, he looked like he was always trying to stifle a laugh.
From wanting to play so badly in the covid year, then turning down a bowl that could've helped him, to the on-side kick.... he just seemed like a pee wee coach in a era of giants-- shooting his mouth off, then having to take his foot out of it. High profile embarrassments, tired excuses and lousy results peppered his career. It went on too long.
Seeing what Joseph and Busch did to turn this team around in 8 weeks, watching Martinez go to a bowl with K-State and taking $35 million out the door for the honor is a total indictment on the legacy here of Frost. I'm glad he's gone... and he'll be a pariah around here -- mentioned in the same conversation as Callahan & Riley for a long time.

I feel a bit for frost. He's Nebraska's last championship quarterback but he's probably not a good head coach. Perhaps, before he gets anymore negative feelings going towards him, he should resign and go into business around Lincoln before it's too late and Nebraska fans run him right out of the state.

No satire. I am a Husker fan from the 60's. There is not one Big Ten West team that we can not out score. We finally have a running game, and a passing game. The low scoring west division teams will allow our defense to adjust and appear to be much better. Let this season play out and then evaluate like our athletic director told coach Frost. We don't need Albert's pulling another UNO wrestling lie.
