Wasn't clear. So u had the damp, did u have to break the palster and replaster and then to this insulation and then skim or did u just have you just wipe the mold. And then do the cork coating?
Uhm, you only get rid od the mold if you get rid od the reason why mould gets born And fhat is the construxtion itself not ezterior coats You have very low vapor being able to exit out of the house, the house doesn't breathe This xork thing won't solve the issue, it might maskt it, but mould still inside the wall frame due to humidity inside, youre not fizing the humidity issue in there
The mould is formed from the inside due to cold surfaces any moisture within the home is attracted to the coldest surfaces which in this case is the outside facing solid walls
No this is certainly not masking. The surfaces we treat are cold not damp. They attract moisture created inside the home this is how black spot mould damp is formed. The cork layer prevents condensation forming on the surface 👍if you'd like more info just get in touch thank you
@@SDRobertsPlastering Thank you for sharing this information. How do I know that the surface is cold and not damp? Also does it really improve the thermal sensation inside?
How long do you wait in-between coats? I heard minimum of 6 hrs

Looks good but this is just masking the issue. There's a different reason mold is growing in these areas.
