hi man. I wanna tell you that i play for 1 year without any teahcers and only youtube and i've learned many different songs in fingerstyle and strumming. like 'river flows in you' 'lovely-billie eillish' 'let her go' and many other. and yes i did have a big problem with bar chords too but i found out a method... it may be boring and exhausting but i think its the best one. So basically everyday pick up the guitar and dont play anything just bar your finger as hard as u can and strumm everyday till u see that u get a hold of it without any pain. after that you can start putting the other fingers for the Fm, Bm etc. i hope i helped you :)
