Hi bushcraft boys, great video and I enjoyed it with you guys, great ! The knife is nice, but nothing for me.. It was nice to see you, good health and greetings you!😉👌👍🌲🦊🙂
After purchasing this knife, the deep grind lines had to be removed. The edge retention is now far better , but not great. The quality control with the one I purchased, simply was not there.
Thanks for showing us! I thought the whole time it looks very similar too BPS knives from Ukraine, same handle wood, same steel........... maybe............?? :-))
Can you test the Brisa trapper, or trooper please, in N960co and 80crv2, i have the trapper in N960co and it's a super sharp edge, it takes a sharper edge and holds an edge longer than my Joker ember in 14c28n to my suprise, the Joker has a longer and fuller handle but for some reason i like the Brisa handle more, and i have XL hands, i think it's because it slices the wood easier tbh, or maybe it may be the smaller handle allows me to carve with more detail
Hi! Those Brisa Trapper and Trooper are interesting knives. Have been looking at the Trooper and Trapper for several times. Thanks for pointing out your experiences about the handle. We unfortunately do not have those knives in our collection and our channel does not generate the amount of money that we can buy a knife from it. All private financed so far. But what I can do is write an email to Brisa and ask if we can review the Trapper and the Trooper. Maybe they are willing to help. Have a nice weekend!
@@westcoastbushcrafters Thank you for the reply, i've just recently discovered your channel and i think it's excellent, it's got me looking for a Lars Felt Casstrom now 😂 maybe after Christmas i'll get one, hopefully Brisa respond favourably, and let you both have a go with them 🙏
Hey guys , what is that POTATO cooker cast iron named ? My wife would love that . These knives are great and 2.5mm is actually perfect for scandi grinds in my opinion.
I’m very glad to see y’all post another video.
We are very glad you watched it😁👍
@@westcoastbushcrafters my BSH3 shows up on Thursday. I had to get one after watching this video
Hi! Cool! Hope the knife works well for you!:) Cheers!

Nice, I'd add some sort of edge retention test for knowing how the steel performs
Good point! That would be interesting info. Something to keep in mind when doing such a review next time. Thanks!!

Great review! A question not related to the knife, what blue sweater is that? Looks cozy!
Thank you! I guess you mean the Kjelvik sweater 😁👍

It is the potato cooker from petromax. Works fantastic 👌
Yeah it worked very well! Most of our knives are thicker. Fun to test this out
I have been wanting to try this brand, but they have not made a model I care for yet. When they do, I will definitely try one out.
We just are just in the beginning of testing our second beavercraft bushcraft knife. Sitting in the forest with that knife now😁👍
Theres better ones out there but for the money Beavercraft makes really good knives.
yeah they have nice price / quality

Hmm, from what I've been reading: the blueing chemicals are poisonous.🤢😵💫😵
As I know only cold blue contains selenium dioxide. So it should not used for food preparation.
Good info! Thanks for your comment! Good to be aware of when using blued blades👍
Good to know! Thanks for pointing this out😁👍
