You missed the amazing partial reloads for the revolver. edit: just finished recording for it's 3rd person animations and man they did a pretty good job compared with previous games.
One thing you missed was the additional reload animations for the revolver, depending on how many unfired rounds you have left in the cylinder. Hopefully, you'll include this in your full animation showcase when the game releases.
You can tell they put some thought into the animations this time. You can clearly see the soldier saving the half empty magazine instead of throwing it away like in other Battlefield games.
Battlefield games don’t throw the mag on most guns. In BFV, for example, if it isn’t already clear they show in the sound design that the mag wasn’t thrown, compared to an empty reload where you hear it hit the ground.
So after spending about 30 hours in the beta, what I’ll say is this: the animations are okay, but they do feel very clunky at times and not as refined as MW2019. I think dice need to work on movement animations because at the moment, the game just feels a bit clunky and heavy
There’s something I don’t like about these animations, but I just can’t tell what it is. Maybe it’s the jerkiness that battlefield animations normally don’t have? It’s definitely a different style, but I’d prefer the animations of hardline, 1, 3 and 4. Hope this game has secret reloads as well, idk if we got any in bf5 other than the garand thumb
BFV had one last secret reload which involved telekinesis powers with the M1 Garand to reload. So far we see some good details in 2042's arsenal. The M44 tracks unfired bullets and keeps them during tac reloads like in BF1 and V, the PBX-45 pressing the right bolt release which is also correct, and AR-15 platform rifles have their safety flicked (as well as the Vector and M5A3).
I'd have to agree, yeah. I definitely prefer almost all other Battlefield games to this. Especially BF1 and 3. There's no sense of weight, really, minus the Stinger and it thudding on the ground after you throw it, which is cool. Fingers feel stiff on some weapons, and on others it looks perfect. Sounds could also use some tweaking. Hearing magazines falling on the ground, or an expended recoiless rifle casing clanging on the ground would sound awesome, in my opinion.
I can't wait for this game to release, I understand why some if not many people hated this beta, but I found it super fun. In the meantime I'ma be here playing bf4
The revolver actually had a separate reload for EVERY cylinder fired. Idk if you guys noticed that, but the operator drops the unfired cartridges into their hand, and then ejects the spent shell, since with the case expansion it’s stuck in the cylinder while the unfired ones fall free. Fun detail. Not necessarily authentic, but fun.
That's standard military procedure. Always put your weapon on safe before exchanging magazines to prevent accidental discharge of any live round potentially still in the chamber.
I love the fact that reloaded empty magazine is thrown away, but when you make tactical relaoad with bullets in it you just take it and keep it in you "inventory". Cool feature.

I kinda like them, they give me a killing floor kind of vibe.
Why does it seem like his graphics settings are hella low
it's unoptimized for high-end GPUs sadly. Hopefully November build will be fully optimized for all GPUs
Is it just me or is it weird that he puts the ARs on safe before reloading?
Man's extra careful
That's standard military procedure. Always put your weapon on safe before exchanging magazines to prevent accidental discharge of any live round potentially still in the chamber.
He's jus being careful
Safety. If anything they should be putting their gun on safe when sprinting lmao
@@marquez4497 Especially tac sprinting, because for some reason you can tac sprint across the map.
I love the fact that reloaded empty magazine is thrown away, but when you make tactical relaoad with bullets in it you just take it and keep it in you "inventory". Cool feature.
God damn am I happy that more and more games are following in MW19's footsteps.
Unfortunately cod isn't even following its own footsteps since cod cold war and vanguard has been a complete downgrade from cod mw2019 which sucks since I loved mw2019 no cod has been the same since mw2 and mw3, I lost all my hope in cod when I bought cold war and I didn't even bother playing the beta of vanguard. I'm done with cod. 😔
@@theglitchedmantgm9298 So fucking true man, Cold War and Vanguard failed to do what MW did right, they just superficially copied it and expected it to work. I just hope they dont fuck up MW2022 and BF2042
@@BobotPlayzBobotRebel Vanguards makes Ghosts look like a masterpiece
No, it's not a good thing when it comes to variety. Reloading has become stale because of MW19, everyone has to start copying it, instead of making it their own style of tacticool and stuff (just an opinion).
@@rosaria8384 Every reload before MW was the same chuck mag away and slap a new one, no care for how guns work. This new trend of tactical reloads is a good thing
I'm glad that I finally see safety switch being used before reload execution.
Can we go for 5 comments without a damn “Mw 2019 SeT StAnDaRd” comment, and instead just enjoy the goddamn animations as they are?
Every reload animation video will have a mandatory comparison to MW2019. Sadly this is the case now, and it's so ridiculous.
@@rosaria8384 it’s just a bunch of fat larpers sucking the dicks of IW because the game made them feel like delta force. Even hyper said that he doesn’t like the positive comparison all the time. “MW this, MW that.” How about they start playing other games to larp instead of a game that doesn’t know how to compress files?
Why is it so damn hard for AAA game companies these days to make reload sounds that are actually satisfying to listen to.
Personally, I'm not a fan of every damn game copying MW2019 reloads. There's so many other ways to reload a gun in a tactical fashion. Where's the originality? Fuck. Even Vanguard, which is set in WW2, has modern tactical reloads. Like WTF????
It amazes me that COD's Finest Teams was able to make the finest animations, it left the game companies no choice but to increase their standards too.
Regardless that the BF2042 reloads are really cool, BF2042 is better off be themselves than try to copy someone else.
yeah, animations have been getting kind or boring lately, a lot of games and people really want to be the next MW19
Imma say it the Ak-24 is the best gun in the beta
Of course being that it's a AK variant.
One cool little detail is the operator actually switches the fire selector switch to safe during reloads
I love how it looks like your guys kinda shaking and it looks like hes trying to reload as fast as he can, probably the most realistic, none of that tactical BS.
Note that some of these sounds are actually stock effects from old games probably being used here as placeholders.
Incredible that mw stills so good that other games animations are based in these
that DM7 empty reload looks like the scar reload in mw2019 0:56
1:42 Did he really just...-
Yeah
The gun should got jam anytime
That ak24 empty reload got my attention
When the animator trying to replicate mw 2019 reloads:
And failed horribly
I like it! They’re not too flashy and it just looks like someone just reloading them and I mean that in the best way possible!
Everyone in the comments: “Something something MW2019 reloōd something.”
Me: “Are these all the weapons in the beta? Seriously?”
Everyone talking about how the reloads look like MW2019: 😕
me, never playing a single second of MW2019: 🙂 nice reloads
If this game has MW2019 animators it would kill MW2019 in a month
The team that make mw reload animation is just too powerful
In your dream
This one barely did it
I'm pretty sure they've said that about every Battlefield game since 3, and Battlefield has been the one struggling more over the years. It's just not a big enough franchise, it can't kill COD.
Already killed MW2019 within the first few seconds the Beta came out. Gameplay is ridiculously fun and considering MW2019 is past its prime ever since being botched by Warzone and stained with BOCW and Vanguard, BF2042 sadly overshadows it.
If MW2019 was released alongside BF2042, MW2019 would actually pose more of a threat to BF2042.
@@spartan8ter MW 2019 is separate from Black Trash and Van Trash. Yes, those two games stained and tainted Warzone, no question, but MW2 2022 will save it and return COWCK to its former glory. Trash Guard and Trash Ops will never stain MW
Battlefield Portal: You are fu******
(More than 75 confirmed weapons)
Ngl bro. COD reload animation is way too clean and realistic.
These reloads look likes hyper reload with all the shaking which is very nice
Don’t really like the rigs but animations are pretty goid
Eh the viewmodels are a bit weird but they ain’t the worse
Infinity Ward, innovation that excites
Does anyone else find the reload animations similar to call of duty?
Looks like a damn 2013 game with these animations and graphics
Yeah the graphics got downgraded a lot, even bf 1 looked better than this.
They’re trying so, so hard to emulate MW2019 lmfao. It’s honestly really cute.
A mix between Insurgency:Sandstorm, MW2019, and classic old battlefield. P e r f e c t i o n .
Where is insurgency?
@@tomas1726 Kind of the way they hold it
after an improvement in animation quality in BF1 and BF5 we see a COD:MW19 rip-off. for real, stop milking MW19, try something new for once.
I like how it's inspired by what COD did right. And still have its own spin by making the animation a bit less aggressive and having slightly quieter metalic sounds
I’m ain’t even finna cap they literally just copy and pasted from mw
U capping lol
i wish. MWs look better. These are good too and its cool to see tactical reloads in games now cause they're a real thing in the military.
@@pano3410 Medal of Honor also did this reload style and some other games not just MW2019.
@@SeraIsFAKE that is true
Edit: well mw2019 wasn't even the first tactical reload cod. Cause even black ops 1 had tactical reloads on some guns. MW just did it on all the guns and did it the best imo.

you might think it's the fire selector, put it on safe and then on fire.

Nice animations on the fire selector
Fun fact: if you reload the revolver when the mag isnt full, your character dumps the bullets that were not shot in your hand, and the ones that were shot on the ground. Also, the bullets that were shot always follow the order in which they were shot, that means if you only shoot one bullet and then reload, the shot bullet will always be in the top left position of the mag
yeah you saw a tiktok
Funny how everyone's talking about MW2019 when Killing Floor 2 did these reloads in 2016
And MOH Warfighter did the two-mag pistol reloading in 2012 and even includes proper magazine keeping for tac reloads - in 2012.
@@rosaria8384 Oh yeah, I hadn't remembered Warfighter.
They look like a kind of combination between MW19´s and Resident Evil´s reloads, good work
Hey, tZveig, the M5A3 and AK-24 have wrong timestamps. Here you go!
M5A3 - 0:31 - 0:45
AK-23 - 0:45 - 0:52
