I think one reason why Benkai could know that "lineup" for the Phoenix molly is because the drop off is actually very easy to predict. The max distance is exactly the distance at which you will hear footsteps so you can always just run and look at the circle on the map to check the max range and then throw it if you are at the correct distance.

They really had a troll composition just to end it with a melee lol
prx didn't just comp troll but they also put mindfreak their smoker on duelist, d4v41 their initiator/flex on to the smoker, benkai their controller on duelist, f0rsaken is kinda like leaf so he can play any role, and jiggg w key.
Good thing to let your Smokes and Sentinels play some duelist so they sharpen their aggression and gunplay 😂

If this was literally any other map I would be not surprised considering how dumb (in a good way) their comps can be.
But the fact that they picked Brim on Breeze is stunning to me. Like Omen or Astra is ok but Brim? 5,500 max Smokes distance and they still make it work lol. Classic Paper Rex.
Even Phoenix with the limited wall range can provide some value in the game, I was surprised by that.
Tbf, I think brim is the only other smoker that can replicate viper’s wall on A, other smokers can’t smoke off back site but brim can provide some cover there

Also fyi mindfreak is really awful on raze and it always became a meme about him is a raze god on indonesia. It's funny how he picked raze on the map before this just to make a "100% winrate on raze" meme on his twitter lol.
Well, he can affect about the same distance as viper can with her util on defense. And you still keep a degree of post plant strength with brim ult+Molly
I even feel like playing dumb comp can be beneficial. You create situations for which people are not ready and you can then just overwhelm people with raw skill.

8:28 well you don't need to remember lineups as phoenix. When you throw the molly at around a 45 degree angle it lands on the edge of the sound circle. Its a pretty cool trick which a lot of ppl don't know

@@valenliu6458 where it lands doesn't really change if u jump or not, cause the molly goes down once it reaches a certain horizontal distance. he prob just jumped to make sure the molly has enough height to not clip yellow or the pyramid.

What prx against with?
I watch this game live, and this feel like it's not vct, just a typical apec server rank match. From the team comp to the strat, it's just like a 5 stack having fun and diffing the enemy team
Paper Rex shows off the craziest styles here in SEA servers. Heck, I see silvers and bronzes playing with the same standard as an immortal in some other regions.
There are a lot of good silver players but they just lack game sense or that they're not consistent. So to compare them to immortals isn't really viable since immortal players would still win no matter what since they're far more consistent and can communicate.
Was waiting for this, everyone knows they're just having fun, but the viewers definitely had fun watching it too.
I would be fine with Jett, Yoru and neon on breeze but Raze, Reyna and Phoenix ??!! Demn, prx playing completely different game than us

Prx really do have the strangest comp this game. Not only just the agents picks but on who is playing who.
That round 1 felt like watching a Chess Blitz game between a GM and a school champion.

Just from watching this, seeing both Reyna and Phoenix, it kind of is weird to say but the individual natures of their kit worked really well for them? Like you can solo with both Reyna and Phoenix since they do their own things and it is something to consider moving forward with? Idk if they will ever use it again but I mean having agents that can just exist without needing as much as set-up on a large map has some potential moving forward.
Jinggg plays Reyna on Haven, and it works very well for him and Paper Rex. Phoenix still feels very clunky because his heals are slow and he needs to stand in his own molly, while Reyna overheals very fast and continue running, or dismiss out of fights.

As Phoenix is outclassed by other agents but many seems to like his playstyle, Riot can make reason to pick him by making his utility cheaper.
prx is like SEN was in NA in early days, once the region develops and it eventually becomes harder for prx people are gonna start hating on them as well. you hate to see it.
