4:40 as a fintech programmer I really don't think it is any harder. At all. It changes nothing, even, in any standard system. However they know how to make the most off their bundles and won't sell these ones individually if they can help it. It goes for the regular bundles too. You can buy it individually there, but it's a ripoff and most people go for the full bundles - all to protect Riot's bottom line, so they don't have to lay of 10% of their employees .... oh wait.

If you want to buy every skin in the new VCT bundle and upgrade the classic to level 3 the price is between 750$ (if all of the radianite you get from the next four battle passes is spent on upgrading the skins) and 1100$ (if you buy all of the radianite you use to upgrade the skins). Around 800 dollars for the capsules and don't even think about radianite. 80 radianite for 50 dollars and multiply the radiantite by like 4. And add 20 more radianite that is like 20 dollars I think. So all together, it would be around 1250 usd
