- In this episode we revisit My Nissan Elgrand E51 called Ellie. She was part exchanged with a company in lincolnshire called 'Easy Campers'. They have now completed a very unusual camper conversion on her and we get the full guided tour including plans for Ellie to get lots of brothers and sisters.
We also have a short interview with Simon Adderly of Easy Campers. He gives us his thoughts and tips on selecting the right VW Transporter for a conversion.

I watch loads of videos on van conversions etc. I love to see how different people make use of available space. I've just subscribed to a channel DualEx and his carpentry skills on his conversions are fantastic. Well worth a watch.

I think its a winner. Whats more i think plenty of petrol heads would hire an Elgrand if they could, just to experience driving a very different and JDM vehicle.
Good examples of thinking outside the box - and having the ability to put those ideas into practice. Good to see the additions have not undervalued Ellie’s high spec.

Can’t put a diesel heater in it?? Of course you can, it just takes a bit more effort, we have a diesel heater in our Elgrand.
You are absolutely right. Just didn't fancy the separate fuel tank.
I wished people would be a little braver & import an Elgrand themselves.
You wouldn't believe how cheap these vehicles are actually are if you do it yourself.
Its the buying sight unseen part that will put most off. But great point🤔
