i am from Barmer (Rajasthan) where this temple is situated. This temple is not haunted it is said to be. Some myths claim it to be haunted because it was destroyed by Mahmud Ghazni when he was on his way to loot and destroy Somnath temple. this temple was reconstructed only a few years back.

If ghosts can be seen by the naked eye, they have to be in the material world and reflect light and can be hit, shot, liquified, solidified etc. Anything that can be done to material things applies to them as well.

@@PSYCHIC_PSYCHO yes, again, anything that is gaseous can be condensed by a chemical reaction or change in temperature. All 5 states of matter can be modified or affected. And, if the ghosts are in some other realm that is not material, they cannot affect matter around you for eg. Move chairs.

I've been to Kiradu many times. This whole paranormal aspect we see in this video and many other videos is completely made up. No locals believe in any kind of ghosts here. The story of the curse is very interesting and is widely believed but this paranormal thing is made up by outsiders. Architecture wise I can tell the Kiradu temples have one of the best carvings. Unfortunately, Kiradu temples were ignored by government until very recent and even now it not good. We failed to preserve such treasure. Let me tell you the story of the curse what I've heard:
Saint went away and instructed his disciples to collect "bhigsa" from locals. When he retuned he saw that his disciple had lost lot of weight. The disciple said that no one gave me anything except one lady potter. The saint asked his disciple to inform the lady to leave the town asap and whatever happens don't look back. The lady packed her things and left on her donkey. The saint then cursed the city and every person turned into stone and it made a huge blast sound hearing which the lady turned to look and she was also turned into stone.
The statue of the lady on the donkey is still present at some distance to Kiradu although it's condition is deteriorated. Elders say that when they were kids there used to be alot of statues of people doing everyday chores in Kiradu but slowly they were either destroyed or were stolen. Now if you visit Kiradu you'll only find remains of 5 temples and walls of the houses. The restoration work was also done very badly and was left incomplete. If we could have done something about it sooner then it would surely be one of the best attractions in India.
