If you see a Masi it could be an S but they don't have the S badges on the earlier models, I think the 2017 are just starting to come with them. So you could think its a base model but it could be an S like mine.
Vehicles are meant to warm up. There’s a reason you wouldn’t want to start in sport mode. Let your damn car warm, no wonder these things have such a poor wrap
@@RYO12mwos All sport mode does is open the exhaust valves and change transmission shift points and shift speed. Starting a Ghibli in sport mode will not damage the engine under any condition
@@themanic6575 I know. I just replied to the guy who said it damages the car when it's not warmed up. I meant just warm up the car before doing anything. Anyway, I don't know about Ghibli but some car actually changes the throttle mapping when it's sports mode which makes engine to rev higher when it's starts up. So if the car is not fully warmed up that might harms the engine a little bit. After all, transmissions also need to be warmed up to operate normally. So I thought it might be better to engage aggressive setting after the transmission get fully warmed up ? I am not mechanic. So I am not sure. Actually I had owned some sports cars and sometimes dealer told me not to put in sports mode when it's not warmed up so I don't know what is true here lol
Thanks. I did wonder about that. I was quickly pressing the button as the engine was starting ;)
I turn on my Maserati ghibli s q4 and I press brake and put it in sport mode
I'm gonna assume starting would b the same for the Quattroporte..🤷
What is the link for 2017 SQ4 how to start in sport mode without having the press the sport button everytime?
Is there a dedicated snow mode on this car?
Yes ice
it is not working on Levante 2017
So the only reason here we would be doing this is for the exhaust noise when it starts up?
What if you dont want to start your car in sport mode can you just start it??
I confirm it doesn’t works on my 2017 Quattroporte 😰😰
Can you start a Maserati Granturismo MC Stradale 2014 or later in race mode?
I dont believe you can...
Too bad, but thanks for the answer. Awesome channel btw and a lot of really good information.
I press sport after it's on and already driving
@ronraiders You must everytime bevor starting klick on sport or only 1 an it's in mermory ? Thank you

Place your key fob on your engine start button and press start. You might need a new key fob battery

Hmm ok. My sport button is working on (push long) , exhaust open, sport mode on, That's all.

Does it work on the 2018 and 2019?
It sure does!
IS your car RWD?
Yup it is! I have the Ghibli S and those only come in RWD.
Rons Rides lol that's pretty funny because up here I have never seen one!

It’s actually not true it’s all wheel drive 🚘
@@Someone-ib3iw Nope, the Q4 model is AWD, not the S model.

You don't understand how sport mode works lol
Then just don't do it when it's cold start. That's it.
