This is definitely an NES game that has aged well. I lucked out and picked this one up when I was a kid and it is still one of the games that I pick back up and replay from time to time.
I remember getting this in 1989, it was one of the first games I got for my NES. This is STILL one of my favorite games to this day. If you have an Everdrive and want to play on real hardware you can have savestates on the Everdrive so you don't need to use the password system. That is how I play it these days though I own both a North American and Japanese cart for this game.
Still trying to figure out a way to input the sound test code in an emulator. You had to power on the NES while already holding the A and B buttons. Maybe on controller 2? It has been a long time
Thank you for watching!
Thank you for making it!

I used to play this a lot as a kid, I still hum the first stage music from time to time and it's on my emulator. I would love to see a remake/sequel.
Being 6 i just used the tgl code. Still was one of my favorites
Decided to give this game a try and I swear the music in the first level sounds just like the overworld music in Zelda II: The Adventures of Link
