“Pancreatic Cancer Stage 4 .” That is what the Dr Said. My husband looked at me and my eyes fixated on his… we were speechless .
On the way home , over the radio, Kristen sang this song.
I grabbed a pen and paper and feverishly wrote the words and sang it the following Sunday. Tears, heaving cries… all I could do was say It is Well.
My husband is the first survivor of pancreatic cancer his Surgeon has ever had.
Isn’t our God amazing, nothing is impossible for him!

It is well with my soul. My son went home with his Lord in September. It was an accident at his place of employment. Lost my sister in June, my brother in August, my son in September and my niece in October. It has been very hard
emotionally and spiritually. But through it all, I continue to fine comfort in my Lord. Its a tough road, yet i find it well with my soul.
He’s never failed me and He’s beside me through cancer. I cry, I blame and then I realize he’s right beside me weeping with me.

My mama passed randomly after fighting hard through breast cancer after her battle was passed. She is my angel of Love Hope dreams forever my whole heart. She gave me her love as the lord does. She battled with him and believed in his word. I posted the song “I will follow you” 7years ago. My mother was my all! Her love heart and mind I was so blessed to have be my mama!

When the storm came to my life as a Student in foreign country, I was just 18. A chronic disease came and attacked my brain.2 times also have a near death experience because of it.
I thought as well that Lord has left me alone. But when I looked back to my past, I could only cry thanking Him for what He do. I dunno if my faith would ever be strong to hold on Him, I hope so. And you all can always trust Him, even in storm.

I have major abandonment issues. Due to not haven’t a great childhood. I’m afraid of the unknown. It has to be better then what I’m settling for now. I know I can do better. I can’t run from myself and my problems. One of the hardest things I’ll ever have to do is walk away from a 23 year relationship. That is toxic. He won’t so that means I have to be the one to walk away. I have Jesus by my side I’m not alone. God first then everything else will fall in place.

My colleague played this song during our morning devotion, and it was the day my brother passed. When I was on the way home to meet my family, this song just played in my head non-stop, and it was all the comfort I needed.
My sister passed away at age 54 on 12/22/21 after a long, hard fought battle with colon cancer. I came across this song while looking for the traditional “It is Well With My Soul” version to play at her service. I heard this and instantly bawled because I felt like she was letting us know after all the ugliness of cancer, she is well in heaven. We played this lyric video at the end of her service. Now it plays in my head constantly to remind me she is indeed well 💗💜💗

Today Is my sixth wedding anniversary with my husband however he moved out at the beginning of this year. I made a heavenly covenant to the King at our wedding and I also made a promise to my husband that I would never leave him. There have been many other hurts that have occurred since he moved out but this song reminds me that I'm serving the God who the waves and wind know personally and they answer to Him. This song reminds me that The Lord has blessed me with peace that surpasses all understanding and I am well. Although I have chaos that surrounds me I've put my faith in God and he is unshaken and unchanging and that's what's holding me steady so I am well indeed. I have put my faith in God and I call on Jesus' name to turn my husband back to God and with that come back home to me.

This was my mom's song for getting through her cancer treatment. Knowing no matter what, it's in God's hands and it is well with my soul. On Thursday, doctors told us that her treatment has stopped working and there's nothing more they can do to save her. Within the next year, my mom will pass away and this will be my last Christmas with her. Through the hurt and anger, I look to God. Through it all, my eyes are on you, and it is well with me.

I have never had such an emotional response to any Christian music, as what I get from this. Any time that I hear this song I am brought to tears at so many different points. I don't always acknowledge how much God has done for me and for my life, and it is just an overwhelming and powerful feeling to know God is behind the scenes driving it all, even when I am not aware, or not asking for help from Him. Such a beautiful song and so inspiring and uplifting.
When my dad was going through Stage 4 esophageal cancer, dieing after 4 months since diagnosis, this song was special to us because of all of lyrics, but especially the part that says, "Even when my eyes can't see...it is well..." because his brain tumor had taken his right peripheral vision. But, through it all, Daddy trusted God like a child trusts his parents, trusted him & wanted God to be glorified, come what may. We had this song at his funeral.

I heard this song for the first time two years ago at summer camp. Over two weeks ago, my I found out my old best friend, who lives a few houses down and who I basically grew up with till we went separate ways, found out his younger brother was attacked. He was beaten, robbed, shot in the head, and thrown in a dumpster by thugs. He was found and rushed to the hospital that night. His brother and I were never that close, but he was still a friend in a way, who I knew from a very young age. For two weeks he fought for survival with the help of ICU staff and prayers and love and support from friends and family all over the country, but Thursday morning he had a brain aneurysm and it was decided he should soon be removed from life support. On Friday evening I went to check and see if the family was home, but it was just the father, who'd just received word minutes before that he was pronounced dead. I walked to a nearby church and cried and prayed the whole way until I got home.
This morning, I went to my church and before the service, this song played on the intercom. I did what I've rarely ever felt compelled to do. I walked over to the alter and knelt to pray. At the end of the morning, I went and found my friend who was just about to leave church. Mind you, he's a big, really tough looking guy. After not talking for most of five years, we hugged and cried together. I miss his brother so much and wish God hadn't taken him so soon, but I've found some peace knowing he's in a better place. This song has a lot more meaning to me now. In spite of all the tears and grief this world has caused me already (I'm hardly 20 yet, and have a lot of health issues), I'm thankful for God's promises that he comforts those who trust him in times of loss, and that we can have hope for life after death. I know that by trusting he will make all things right if I surrender to his will, I can be reasonably happy in this life, and supremely happy forever in the next.

I could really use some prayer right now. My wife and I are going through a divorce and I have been making a lot of bad decisions and not putting God first. I know He will guide us through this trying time but it is very difficult
