Beautiful and organized gym. Love it. I love your choice of wall color. Is it black? Is there a reason you chose a dark color? What type of floor covering are you using? We are getting new garage doors in the next month. I’ll check into insulated doors. Can you let me know the type of heater you have? Thank you for your help.
We have a 3 car garage and I built my gym starting back in 2021. I have the 1 stall that is just my equipment. I pull our vehicles out during workouts and then back in at the end. My hubby likes cars in the garage lol. Organization is key. I have 5 pieces of cardio equipment, DB’s, KB’s, bands, smith machine I found from a moving sale, bars, a wall mount foldable rack, trx, rings, wall balls, sandbags and so much functional training pieces. Bought a sled this spring and love that too. Plyo boxes with one being an adjustable box. 12”, 16”, 20” and 24”. Thats super handy. Redid our crappy concrete floor last winter with epoxy but also have the rubber stall mats on top. I love my gym.
Great choice on the Folding Squat Rack, Kristi! Cool to see how the gym has transformed compared to the previous home gym video you guys did. Hopefully more PRx gear can continue making its way into the gym 😃
Love watching home gym builds and what everyone does with the space that they have You guys should look into Spartan race, Deka, and stadion events. Spartan stadion will kick your butt if you don’t train stairs
Love the PRX rack. I purchased one a year ago and am obsessed. I tell anyone looking into a garage gym about these, so I was so happy to see you with one!
Love all of these ideas! I don't have a garage but a shed I've installed a few things but nothing heavy like assault bikes or squat/pull up racks. All of these ideas are great and I may use some of them. I've installed a few eye screws and attached hooks to them and bands looped through them at different angles. If there's any 1-3 things to get for a home gym what do you think it would be or make like you all did for the weight pulley system
Thank you! This is super helpful! I am totally getting that hip thrust pad! I have a pretty good start on my garage gym, the problem is organization and also I have cement walls. Plus I need a good handyman/contractor type to help me plan and implement for the space. I started my CF journey here in Cbus in 2011 and have slowly added to my garage since then. I love working out in my garage but also miss the community aspect. Thank you again! Your space is beautiful!
Amazing gym, definitely upgraded from your last gym tour! Motivation to get our garage gym updated as well, thank you so much for sharing! Sold on the functional trainer in the corner too!
@@Kristi-Eramo-OConnell lol 😂 I’m looking at the titan fitness one and the rep fitness one! Appreciate it again, definitely miss the garage gym training videos 😁
I have a mini box in my garage too! We are about to get an echo bike and I’m about to upgrade my squat rack to a half rack for the plate storage myself. Love your set up and I can’t wait to get my IBEX flag when they come out!
Greetings from Dayton! Nice video, thinking of moving the gym from the basement to the half of the garage...just not looking forward tot he cold if i pull the trigger.
What did you get to insulate your garage door? I’ve tried a few things and they don’t seem to work that well. I want to redo it before the winter months are here. Thanks!
Those eye hooks are an awsome idea. Pat do u have a video on when u put them in? How did u get them flush with the map that exact. The prx rack would be great also boke a yoke carry rack would be a nice addition.
Thinking of taking a break from the box and signing up for your Ibex training. Do you have equipment lists somewhere for performance aesthetics, IBEX 60, or minimal equipment programs?
Great gym. Great use of the space. Can you direct me to where you found the folding squat rack? I went to PRX and they did not have one that looked like yours so maybe it's new? Please let me know and thank you again.
Awesome Gym! Does Patrick want to come out and build my home gym? Nobody handy in my family!!! Your very lucky to have someone who can do all the little niches. And of course Milo is an added feature!
Building a home gym is great. Nice gym. I went with horse stall mats for my home gym build. what type of mats did you install, I couldn't remember if it was mentioned in the video?
I see a few people asked about the paint, it looks great! Can you tell us the color and finish? It looks like a flat finish, which I love but worry about durability. How is it holding up? Thanks for all the awesome content!
Wonderful setup! I just moved into a new house (in New Mexico) with a three-car garage and plenty of space to replicate something like you guys have. I wonder if there are "home gym consultants" out there (with Rogue maybe?) that could help with the design/planning of a home gym, rather than me putting together the home gym piece by piece?

Would you recommend the rogue training plates 2.0, or the competition plates? I see you have a mix of both.
It is... www.amazon.com/dp/B0000AXEZV?linkCode=ssc&tag=onamzkristoco-20&creativeASIN=B0000AXEZV&asc_item-id=amzn1.ideas.144AOU3T22FT8&ref_=aip_sf_list_spv_ofs_mixed_m_asin
I really love the idea and look of storing your plates on the wall, but I would be a little concerned about hanging so much weight off one wall stud. Maybe I am being overly cautious, but something to think about.
Ours is very minimal but we do have a slant and it does kind of become annoying at times when the barbell wants to run out the garage door LOL. I use small change plates to help it in place if I have to!
We got rid of it! We found, we rarely were doing HSPU in the garage but saved those for the gym so we created more floor space by adding a rig to the wall and getting ride of the stand up one we had to store!
Nice gym. Not my dream gym...or ultimate, but still nice. Would much rather have a Life fitness corner cable unit, Hammer strength smith machine...mine would have commercial incline, decline....a 3x3 power rack w/ various benches. Of course, I'd have a 3 or 4 car garage as space is important to fit it all. Probably why my stuff is in the basement where I have half of the 2600 sqft for the gym. :)

@prxperformance, what model is it?

Nice set up. Love the black paint all round. Really sets a nice vibe in there.
how did you level your garage floor? Or did you leave the slight down slope for drainage? Does this effect the way you train in the gym?
Love the PRX rack. I purchased one a year ago and am obsessed. I tell anyone looking into a garage gym about these, so I was so happy to see you with one!

One of the most optimal setups I've seen in a while! Fantastic setup Kristi!
thank you!!
Awesome setup. Thanks for the tour!

The functional trainer is a game changer! We waited too long!

The gym dog was also my first step in my space, several months before the barbell.
I personally do steady state cardio on my echo bike way more than I do the C2.
Same. I do 50-55 minutes a day on the Echo Bike using cycling workouts on Apple Fitness+.
Awesome gym. I'm also living in Columbus, OH and the cold has been one of the biggest issues for me as a guy originally from Tampa.
The wall plate hanger is brilliant.
*need for home functional trainer intensifies*
haha that functional trainer is awesome, go for it and get one!!
Great looking gym!! Love this. Thank you for sharing!!

This garage gym setup is SICK! 🔥
Columbus shout out. I’m currently building my setup in south bexley.
Question: where and how do you store all the stuff you would normally keep in the garage? Ie. Lawnmowers, tools, etc
Patrick built a shed in the back yard!
Love the garage gym. Built mine out during Covid
good move 😎✌️

it is a hard foam board Patrick got at home deopt!
very nice gym thankyou for sharing your insights god bless you both and your family
Wow. I love your garage gym. Amazing !
Hip thrust was a winner for me too.
Perfect, I'm starting building my garage gym (without garage). I love going to the CrossFit class but sometimes is much easier to work from home.
Love your Home Gym!!! Another Great Video as Always!!! 💪
Thanks for the home gym tour!
I could use the recommendation for the heater 😊
Can you link or give the specs on the heater? I live in northern Idaho and have not found a good solution as of yet
My gym dog Millie loves to hang out during a workout.

Nice set up guys… what paint color did you use for your home gym!? It looks very nice .. I would like to paint mine the same way
Thank you! Why no assault runner? Too much space? I am thinking of remodeling my garage gym next spring.
Could you please link the weight plate wall rack holders?

Sweet setup. Did you do anything to compensate for the slope from the back of the garage to outside?
no, It really is not noticeable!
Like that gym very much. Really well thought out.

Such an amazing gym! Thanks for the video! May I ask which version of PRX rack is it?
Nice work. Gym looks great!
Building a home gym is great. Nice gym. I went with horse stall mats for my home gym build. what type of mats did you install, I couldn't remember if it was mentioned in the video?
we used horse stall mats as well, smooth 4x6, 3/4 thick
Great space!
Does the Rogue competition bumper plates warp or break if left in the garage in the summer and winter?
Love you guys' videos. Can you provide a link for the heater you guys installed in your garage?
How do you manage the garage slope? My bar will roll towards the door if I don't place it perpendicularly
I see a few people asked about the paint, it looks great! Can you tell us the color and finish? It looks like a flat finish, which I love but worry about durability. How is it holding up? Thanks for all the awesome content!
Love this paint color!! What color did you go with? It’s a beautiful gym! This inspired me to get mine going 😊
Cool space looks fun
Grat gym! Can I ask what type of a timer you have on the wall, and are you satisfied with it? Thanks in advance!
Nice. But you forgot the most important part! Flooring! :D
we did!! it is 3/4 rubber mats that are 4x6 smooth!
What type of heater do you have in your garage gym? What brand is it?
I guess we will never know
I’m glad you asked the question. He said he would let us know. LOL

Where did you get the i hooks and how did you keep them flush to the mats? Just not drill as far down?
Also, how did you determine spacing
They're called flush mount "D" rings. You can find them at Harbor Freight in the US.
yes, patrick said they are flush mount d rings and you can get them at lowes or home deopt!!
Thank you, @Kristi!
