Конечно, куда уж Тут без греков.
Внесли, так сказать, "ВЕСОМУЮ" лепту в победе над фашизмом и нацизмом 😅

"Had planned to take over Greece in a few weeks"
" it took more than 5 weeks"
    So still considered few weeks
    Hence, no affect.
The main factors: huge USSR land and their resilient heroic soldiers

Russia has nothing to do with it. Russia did not exist until 30 years ago

The USSR made no extra preparations as a result of the Greek campaign
The delay that caused Germans to stop at Moscow in winter was caused by other factors

      Not entirely true.

      @@Menroth. It is entirely true.
Even as the Wehrmacht invaded the USSR there were divisions still in the process of forming up
In the main Germans were slowed down by the incompatibility of their rail system with that of the USSR, the unprecedented rate of vehicle breakdowns, the obstinate defense by Soviet troops, the slow progress of Axis troops in the South, and the change of direction by Hitler towards the Caucasus, which took the momentum out of the Army Group Centre's strategic objectives. In fact the war in the East was already lost by December 1941, and the failure of Stalingrad was evidence of this. The Greek campaign had only one influence on the war in the East, the failure of the Crete operation, and virtual removal of the German paratroops from the order of battle. However, it is unclear how they would have been useful in influencing the strategy in the East since the force was not large enough to begin with.
