Chima was a great Lego theme. It came out when was like 6 to 8 years old… I still remember the theme to this day now I’m almost 18… And I still loved Chima. I actually had owned 15 Chima sets before they all were in pieces now in a bin.

$550?? Good Lord. I bought that for retail price. I think it was $350. Get a light kit for it. Does wonders. I put mine in the window at Halloween, along with the rest of the Monster Fighter sets.

At 7:38 you can see the London Bus I traded in a while back! It was my first time checking out Bricks & Minifigs. Ive still got a good chunk of in store credit I need to use. Gonna have to get back up there.
I have a few of those minifig factory sets - they were GWPs and included the printed trophy/microfig pieces to represent some of the first minifigs [police, pirate, classic space, and doctor]. It has a small action feature using the background. I have one on display near my computer :)
I bought this Monster Fighters haunted house set sealed about a month ago. I had a lot of fun building it, but just a warning that every single one of the log shaped 1x2 bricks will crack/shatter. I simply could not find a way to place them without them cracking, and this set surprisingly has a lot of them. The pearl gold pieces will also crumble every time (they're the clip studs). Just a suggestion to maybe order some replacement parts ahead of time, unless you don't mind it.

The Bricks & Minifigs you go to always seems to have more sets than the one by me. I don't go frequently but the times I have been there, they have less. Maybe just the times I go they are in between sets... I don't know. But cool seeing the old sets. and Congrats on getting your set.

That monster fighters haunted house was one of my very first Lego sets and I still bring it up every year for Halloween
I have the Monster Fighters Hauntd House. It goes out every Halloween and now I am pairing it with Hocus Pocus set. And yes I live in Salem, MA!

My daughter and I bought the Scooby lighthouse set that you showed in this video. We got the Brick Rodeo discount too! The only Scooby set we are missing is the mummy museum mystery. Thanks for letting us know it was there at Bricks and Minifigs. Hopefully someday we will run into you guys.

I also love the Monster Fighters series. I purchased the Haunted House years ago. I liked it so much that I ended up buying all the additional sets... Think it was 12 sets. Too bad Lego didn't continue the theme. It is really wonderful.

Ah yes! The famous Lego Monster Fighter sets! I loved that theme back then! I wanted to get all the sets because I love Halloween too! But I don't remember why I didn't buy any of them... anyway, the Haunted House is seriously insane! Good score on that one, guys! Happy building !

Great choice grabbing the Monster Fighter manor! I got it last year and made a great Halloween display with it and Hocus Pocus house and a few other creepy elements. So fun!! I convince myself I’m doing the Lego thing for my grandkids…. Nah… it’s all for BrickLovenGrammy😂

This year’s 4th of July has been so exciting for me you guys… just wait till you hear this non sense. This last Saturday the 29th my roommate and I decided to donate plasma from our blood. Tell me how ten minutes into the training video I couldn’t help but get up out of my chair where I was seated and ran to the room next door which my roommate was in. As soon as I finished my statement that I’m not sure if I’m fully ready for everything they’re doing GUESS WHAT HAPPENED! I passed the fuck out right in front of every poor soul in the building, was rushed to the hospital for brain injury, and have been here ever since. Next up on my to do list is supposedly cognitive therapy which would be the very last thing in my mind I need to do, as you may be able to tell there is nothing wrong with the way my brain wants to handle things. Another fun thing that happened was last night on the night of the 4th was every single nurse in the trauma unit (Which I’m currently staying in) wanted to happily scream their little white girl heads off to every single firework they saw in the distance. Would anyone kindly explain why this would ever seem appropriate in the EMERGENCY AND TRAUMA UNIT?!? AT 4:30 IN THE GODDAMN MORNING?!? 🤨 Anyway all that I wanted to say is that I’m hoping no one else had to deal with the trauma and bullshit that I’ve had to this past week.. still hoping for no cognitive therapy but apparently that’s what everyone wants to send me to. Wish me luck here in little Englewood Colorado at Swedish hospital because every prayer is worth a million! I’m so happy that in the minimum I have three Lego sets I can work on while I’m still stuck here in my little “paradise”. Wishing everyone a great rest of their week and also an amazing weekend filled with legos and joy!
