Saw them at Sick New World in April - Brandon sounded amazing! Sounds like he's battling some kind of exacerbated fatigue or sickness here. Even then, he still doesn't sound awful lol thanks for the vid!
Here he does sound decent tbf. But think his issue is that he has always been a belter. He gets very loud in high notes and that used to be power, like I mean pure power. And with age that just decreases so it’s a lot harder
He was incredible, absolutely flawless for so long that in all reality this was inevitably going to be the outcome. I think he is deserving of a pass when it comes right down to it, dude literally did damage to himself for OTHER people's enjoyment. I for one can appreciate and respect that fact.
kinda weird to have the drummer set up where he can't even physically look at the bassist. just kinda doing their own thing up there. totally independent from each other.
