The lakers vs Nuggets is basically “ How many times I have to teach u this lesson old man” 😂😂

The NBA just banned a guy for life for betting on games, and they are out here telling a team to LOSE on PURPOSE. and this isnt gettin scrutinized? smh
Preach!
The bucks did that in the last game so they didn't have to face the 76ers or heat. teams do it all the time.
@@correcttheculture1829 that doesnt make it right. my point is my point..thats cheating and they are tellin them to cheat. Adam Silver just said "oh we gotta protect the integrity of the sport". bs!

Greeny and Hanh, is this how you are going to teach your kids? To chicken out on any obstacles in their way? Good job both of you 👍
Speaking as a competitor I agree with Jay Williams losing intentionally is wrong it’s just wrong doesn’t matter what sport it is, you play to win, can’t believe they said the lakers should’ve lost on purpose
Lakers should've signed A big body 7 footer to atleast annoy and bang with Joker, instead of signing 3 point guards lol. Nuggets in 5
They did casual
Truth. Should’ve brung Howard back this for this series at least
They had Zubac 😂😂😂
Doesn’t matter which centre they signed. Darvin Ham will still play 3 guards. Remember Tristan Thompson last season ?
@@donovanyoung244 Harry Giles? Wood and Rui aren't 7 footers, Jokic owns both.

Man was out of breathe on that rant😅
I can’t believe these idiots are saying the Lakers should have intentionally lost and risked ending their season in a one and done
It's better to try to beat Denver when AD and Lebron have as much health as possible, and they still can't.
The bias is crazy lol
Super stupid
It’s very cowardly and unsportsmanlike to do. They wanted Denver and as we can see they are he inferior team but at least they’ll take it in the chin and not run
They're clearly cowards who have never actually competed IRL
Jokic is inevitable. Better question is why do people still claim he's out of shape, when he clearly is running as much or more than anyone else on the court?
I cannot believe Alan and Greeny are actually trying to force this point 😂
Unless Dwight Howard and Javale Mcgee coming off that bench to help AD… we’re in trouble.
I blame the font office for signing guards instead of getting a center
Javaaaaaale Mcgeeeeeeeee need a good new Shaqtn lol
I wish we had DW that would be absolutely perfect but we don't I just don't Want my Lakers to get swept 😭 I'ma stay positive and hope for the best!!!
Game 1 was one of the closest double digit losses in NBA playoff history, only 2 points away from a single digit loss. 🤣
The media is just foolish, and this is what people have to listen too about sports. Smh
It’s funny because Stephen A. Smith said nobody in the media said the Lakers should try to lose. Lol
You are taught to play to win. You couldn't assume that the Kings would be a cakewalk.
Especially since Kings have beaten them the last several times they've played
This Shannon fault
And Jay Williams is absolutely right
Get em Jay Will.... Don't let them water down the NBA Playoffs. The game can't get any softer.
The Lebron and Laker haters are teaming up like Voltron 😂
Yep! We love it
The Nuggets are the Lakers worst nightmare.
DLO*
The Lakers are the Lakers' worst nightmare. They are letting the Nuggets pick them apart because they don't have good defensive habits.
Well they went at their worst nightmare instead of running away. If they lose they lose but they ain’t duck them. People just wanna criticize them for everything they do.

The Lakers messed up trading KCP, Caruso, and Kuzma. They were literally the most well rounded team in the NBA, it’s insane that they went away from that
They didn’t trade all of them. Just couldn’t afford to resign them all. The biggest mistake was losing all the big bodies we lost
@@desean3402Dwight Howard, Javale McGee, and Markieff Morris…
They simply don’t have the personnel to match up
@@Doughtwo oh I agree. They need a big body to put on joker that would allow AD to roam. Howard would have been ideal, Boogie would have worked too. But somehow the Lakers don’t know this
So what will the media say if they Laker for some reason win this series
Good thing this is just a hypothetical cuz no chance it happens if the nuggets are healthy 😭🤣💯💯
@@evileyevalaus lakers were up 18, its not like it was a steam roll when denver only won the 3rd quater even tho that 3rd quater was a massive disparity
Timberwolves blew out the Suns by 25
JWill: The series ain't over.
Nuggets beat the Lakers by 11.
JWill: Yup, they getting swept fo sho!
Keep that same energy 'til the series is over. 🤣
Greeny can brag about being "right" about the Lakers losing to the Pelicans all he wants, he's still wrong. Avoiding Denver does not do you anything. Sure, you might make it to the conference finals by beating OKC and then Mavs/Clippers but guess who will probably await you in the conference finals afterwards? DENVER. ANd the small chance the Lakers have is with a more rested AD/LeBron. Not with "we have fought us through two series"-AD/LeBron.
Such a shortsighted take. Or what? You wanted to bank on the Pelicans or Suns/Timberwolves to eliminate Denver so you wouldn't have to face them? Stupid, flatout stupid.
Oh and by the way: Suggesting "anything can happen" until Denver and the Lakers meet in the conference finals also goes both ways. You can get knocked out OR a key player can get injured. Sure, Jokic or Murray could get injured in a series before you face them. But the same thing, more likely even, can happen to Anthony Davis.
On that note, can you imagine what these guys would report if the Lakers would have lost vs the Pelicans and then AD would get injured vs the Kings in the final play-in-game? OMG, the media would have a field day roasting the Lakers' decision.
@@KevinWieschhues this is the game the media plays, cause even when they are wrong they can spin it to they are right.
No one to hold them accountable, thats why espn is lame. one day the story can be them praising the lakers for a win, next game they are bashing them. Espn is all about entertainment and not true analysis, they stuff their shows filled with ppl that can debate and come up with topics. greenburg, sas, malika andrews, kendrick perkins, etc. I dont think any of those guys I would say is knowledgable of the game they just know enough to drive conversation barber shop talk.
I remember the exact show a few years ago on first take when Stephen a said “put the camera on me” and ever since then Jay Williams has taken that and tried to make that one of his little catchphrases.
JWill I don't agree with all of your takes but this is 💯 legit. Any all time great worth a pound of salt would never accept defeat and throw a game.
It’s incredibly naive of Greeny to say “lose a playinn game for a better matchup”.
It not only seems like he never played sports successfully, because than he would think like J Will.
Secondly it doesn’t matter because to get to the Finals you have to get past Denver.
Thirdly a playinn game is a one and done situation like in Football and everybody knows that the margin for error is too small to lose a game on purpose. It’s only ONE game and even a super team can lose a single game against any opponent.
J Will is 100 percent correct. It’s not in a competitors blood to lay down. The 2 other hosts must play in an over 50 volleyball league or something and they have no business talking about things they don’t know. (Ironic they get paid for it)
Except for J-Will these guys have never competed for anything in their lives. You can tell they’ve always ran away from challenges.
Nailed it lol
These are the same guys who think gobert is better defending than AD
Even if the Lakers had lost that game, people will still say LeBron was a coward for ducking Denver. It’s a weak move like KD joining GS.
Pat4Clippers be sure your getting your daily naps in 🧠

The kings didn’t have Malik Monk or Kevin Huerter either😂
Even the refs can’t save The Lakers. Hopefully they’ve preebooked their Cancun flight

The refs never made the difference. The Lakers beat teams they are better than and lose to the teams that match up better against them. People just assume they only win because of free throws when a better team is gonna beat them regardless. The Nuggets been beating them for that reason

Bruh the lakers really need to put Jaxon Hayes on jokic and ad on Aaron Gordon. Make Denver fight for their points
Their team defense as a whole has been wildly inconsistent all season. Unless they commit to playing defense, they don't have a chance of surviving this series.
Greeny is the lead character in Godzilla Minus One. A kamikaze pilot who pretends his plane has issues. Be a MAN. Not a boxer like Mayweather who ducked Pacquiao for 5 years.
Pat4Clippers no 🦗
You can definitely tell who actually played sports when these conversations are had
!!!!!!!!!!!!!
AD can’t guard jokic because there is no rim protection.
JWill is right. If the lakers lost on purpose. You have no idea with one and done if you’re going to win. Even if you’re the better team. I like the fact the lakers said let’s go play the nuggets or whoever. Yeah they will lose to them most likely but to say “lose on purpose” is crazy.
Rui on jokic and Davis coming over with the help defense is a good strategy. Davis has to protect the rim
They're clowns for saying they should have thrown the game

If the Nuggets are that unstoppable, the Lakers would meet them in the conference finals and the exact same result would take place. So you gain nothing but an extra couple of weeks for a 39 year old in his 21st year, and an injury prone big man.
This is nonsense. Imagine the conversation that would have come after being eliminated against sacramento in the play ins trying to avoid the nuugets
Even if Lebron gets swept again, I’ll give him a lot of credit for not “ducking” the nuggets. No matter how many rings he wins, you can’t erase “losing on purpose to avoid competition” from your legacy.
How about listing Darvin Ham as unavailable for tonight's game in the Lakers Injury Report?
My Lakers are gonna fry the Nuggets tonight.
You better pray for more free throws then
yeh if the refs help u guys again and u still lost lol
How long is it going to take Lakers fans to accept reality lmao?
Lakers will play their game which is bully ball and force Denver to foul them and get their usual free throw number
I pray you're right gang
JWill smoking something. What a play in team did vs the champs, I'd be concerned for Denver. Suns will be swept or gentlemen-swept because they can't defend and lack toughness.
The same media suggesting that Lebron should lose on purpose is the same ones who would destroy him
Darvin Ham will be the scapegoat after the Lakers get bounced in the 1st round. They should've resigned D12. The have no answer for Joker at all!
He is built that way. He ran away from Cleveland to join (D)addy Wade.
They have to go through Denver anyways
Saying the Lakers should have thrown that play in game is the most asinine argument I’ve heard in a while, and everyone one is making it. I agree with Jwill, would anyone ever ask Kobe if they should throw a game for a better matchup? Even if it’s not their choice and an organizational decisions, you already lost the mental game, and showing that no one thinks they can win unless they get lucky and avoid a team. Not a champions mindset. Also let’s face them while your 39 year old star isn’t as tired from 3 other rounds of the playoffs. I respect they went for it, and think they can take a game or two off of Denver
Plus matchups-wise, the Lakers were on a disadvantageous point.
1. Lakers beat Pelicans all season
2. Kings beat Lakers all szn
3. Pelicans beat Kings all szn
The Kings would've booked them a flight to Cancun for intentionally ducking Denver .
LeBron isn't Jordan.

Phil Jackson and Shaq have both talked about dodging the Spurs in the playoffs. The Lakers dodging Denver wouldn't have been anything new.
Can you imagine if the Lakers win this series, how much their attitudes and ridiculous takes would change so much, and they would surf along as if they've been supporting them this whole time 🤦😂😂
It's funny how times changed. At one point Kobe owned the nuggets with Melo and now the times have reversed.

Purposely losing, what type of mentality is that?
That’s the same as a rigging a bet
The Lakers have enough Talent on their Roster to beat Denver. Too bad most of them forgot how to play Fundamental Basketball.
He is built that way he started super teams
My lakers winning tonight. But this why Alan and greeny never hooped. Just a trash take
lmaoooo, bron is old and finished my guy, the media acts as if this guy is in his 20's, i get it, he's popular, but his time is over, he's slow, doesn't play defense, and he has no heart, the lakers are getting swept, or the refs might give them one game, other than that, its a wrap, so lets start the chant early that a 40 year old bron needs more help next year lmaoooooooo
They're doubling down on this...
Lakers would've had to go through Denver no matter what. It makes no difference what round it's in. The matchup would be exactly the same.
this is why they should not have a play in
Greeny's suggestion of intentionally losing is preposterous. It is not certain that the Lakers would have defeated Sacramento. Therefore, why take the chance of losing in one game when you can have a best-of-7 series?
Exactly! The Kings also had a very good record against Lakers, as well the the Dubs. Contriving to lose to the Pels wouldn't have guaranteed a Playoff berth. Besides, even if Lebron won the title without beating Denver, everyone would say he ducked the greatest to win a title. It's self-defeatist at best.
“It’s not certain” they would’ve beaten Sacramento
Vs
“Not a chance” Denver loses to Lakers.
What’s the better option? Your pride too big to say hey I can’t beat this guy
@@laserglider I rather keep my pride than have a loser's mentality. Intentionally losing games isn't something players just sign up for and can potentially ruin a locker room. It's so many negatives towards doing what you suggest for what? A second round exit?
@@erv9028Lakers wouldn't have met Denver until the conference finals had they lost to the pels and beat the kings so 3rd round exit but at least fans would be leaving thinking they got a shot at the title a 1st round exit with LeBron gonna be another year older ain't the best way to go out either Bron not gonna play at this level forever
“And it’s probably why you played in the league & we didn’t”🤣💯
Jay can at least claim he was an athlete. Greeny can not. If you play sports, your coach is not telling his team to lose a game to avoid a certain opponent.
Pat4Clippers this is the main reason you have zero room to talk. Watching movies and playing video games isn’t a sport Eddie Mush 👴🏻
Well to be honest , all they had to do was hit 4 more 3 pointers and the game would’ve been entirely different
Low IQ
All the nuggets had to do was make 4 more 3s to blow the lakers out 🙄
One of the dumbest comments I’ve ever read😂
A win is still a win. Not every game needs to be a blowout in the NBA lol.
The Lakers had a 12 point led just before Halftime, then they started playing BLANK. This might have been a totally different outcome if the Lakers played better fundamentals in those final few minutes of the 2nd quarter. This game was there for the taking.
I got a funny feeling.Lakers will win this series😅😅😅
The refs refused to give the Nuggets a single free throw in the second half and the Lakers still lost 😂😂😂
Nuggets in 4... again 😂
Ref was allowing alot frfr
I said it before the series even started. If D'Lo doesn't outplay Murray, Lakers going home 🤦🏾🤦🏾
2 bad takes. No lakers should not have lost against the pelicans (talk about perception, how about ducking smoke with Denver). Secondly, Rui was doing a great Job, the only adjustment I want him to make is get body on body sooner and initiate contact when defending. Don’t just allow jokic to get to the block before you make contact. We don’t want our best defender and one of our best players in foul trouble against Denver nuggets.
What's the Lakers record against Sacramento this season?
Potential Back to back 🧹 to the same team for the self proclaimed 👑 🐐
Lebrons gotta have some effort on the defensive side of the ball. The lakers already lack defensive players. AD can’t be the only one playing D. IDC if he’s 39 years old, this is the playoffs.
People were calling a sweep after game 1, how is this any different
Who's here after the Lakers game 4 win? Sweep right ....anyone seen J Will 😂
if lebron stays passive in the fourth its a wrap
How happy are these two seeing LeBron fail
Call me a biased Lakers fan but I TRULY don't believe we'll get swept. If I'm wrong who cares but I feel like we'll win a game and idk I feel like we'll steal a game on the road 🤷🏾♂️ I think it'll be a good series
Jay is 100% correct
thats the difference between someone who has played competitive sports and try-hards..
People who say the Lakers should have lost in order to play OKC aren't proposing that they intentionally lose the game they're just saying if they HAD lost, it would have been better for them.
