If 15$ per hour is instated prices of basic items such as milk,bread and gas will increase to a level which will make the wage just as it is now ever increasing and when it becomes fact will increase inflation leading to american funds no longer being a standard in global economics. Taxes will increase to levels that our country would a hollow shell of what it is currently.
I agree with the part about the American dollar not being the standard currency, it would deteriorate the dollar, inflation will damage us to extents we cant imagine. If the dollar gets replaced as the global currency, we are in deep trouble
Inflation has been devaluing the dollar way before we were ever born. Its gonna keep happening no matter what. Im not saying this is a good thing, but i also understand there are a lot of people in need. Its a double edge sword
@@BreakingTheCycle True, I understand that everyone needs help due to this pandemic. However, if this printing continues it will hurt us in a long term. There should be a way to open the economy without risking the health of people. I suggest quarantine the people who are the most vulnerable to this virus and continue economic operations but I could be wrong.
