If you attend drill (which consists of 2-4 days typically) yes. It’s not a large paycheck or anything but you do get paid for showing up. There’s other factors that play into this as well

Deployment pay is WAY better. Also depending on your location (hazard pay is extra in certain countries), tax free money (depending on the country you are deployed to), also you get basic housing allowance (BAH), which is really good if you live in an expensive state/county such as NYC (5 boroughs), California, NJ and other places. You can look up BAH for your zip code online. Ultimately, yes deployment pay is way better (if you are active duty, pay may differ. I’m only speaking from reservist side)

To me it just means friend (to a female). Not typically used but some people do refer to their female friends as “parcera”

Only some people are talking about it. It’s such a great project and I don’t hear enough about it in comparison to the ETHs, SOLs etc. The people who do hear about it a lot are surely going to have major gains if they keep purchasing. I’m just trying to spread the word 🙏🏻

It’s all about staying in the profession for a while. After 3 years in public accounting you should*** be able to get the 6 figures. Make sure you work hard and are a top contender every year for the best bonuses and best salary increases. I’ve heard great things about computer science so both are amazing careers. I think I’ve heard of better opportunities in computer science though, but please research as much as you can. Sometimes the money isn’t worth the job you’re doing!

You will definitely be working with many team members and clients. on the phone, zoom and in person. Don’t let that be a stopping point for you though, you can always get better if you keep practicing. Hope all goes well!
