Congrats on your pregnancy and your baby boy!!!! Some diaper changing tips: swipe a cold wipe on his tummy a few seconds before you open the diaper to get him to pee beforehand and then point it down when you close the diaper so he doesn't pee up and out. Speaking from experience. 😅
I usually pick there really quick to make sure he is not in the middle of peeing 🤣 if its pointed up - not a good sign. I've been peeid on many times 🤣 also put a new diaper underneath so you can just pull old one out.
Congrats! My little IVF baby just turned 5 months. Because I had a frozen transfer I opted for the embryo testing, as well as the gender reveal for all my embryos. When people ask me when I found out the gender, I say 3 months before I got pregnant, haha. It's amazing what medical science can offer. I look forward to watching your journey with #2!

Not that I'm glad I had fertility issues, but I feel like I got spoiled. Because I went through treatments, I got to see baby at 6,7,8, and 9 weeks. Now I've waited an entire month to see baby and I can't wait for my 13 week appointment tomorrow!

The experienced boy parents have already given you the best advice possible for those boy diaper changes, I would just add that it’s inevitable- the dreaded pee shower that is-and when it does happen it will likely be at the most inopportune moment. In this time, take a breath and try and find the humor in it, as you little guy will likely find this to be the funniest trick. Oh, and just when you think he’s done and right before you get the new diaper on he will sometimes let another stream loose on you. Best wishes, you guys will be amazing at this!

Honestly my boy was super laid back compared to my daughter. He’s such a sweetheart he’s so kind and thoughtful. My daughter being those things to is very emotional confessions of a teenage drama queen 👸 I am currently 35 weeks pregnant with my second son. This will be my 3rd I absolutely cannot wait the bond that you have with a son is so much different then with a daughter.

We did the nipt test and found out the sex of our first baby this week 🥰🥰. FYI the sneak peak test is wrong soooo often! Even when done at a clinic. Unless you are talking about nipt.

Congratulations! I had a baby boy back in June after having twin girls 3 years ago. I heard from many moms who have both boys and girls that the connection a son has to his mother is unlike that of a daughter and I swear it’s true. The way he looks at me and how I just need to look at him to make him smile is so different from my girls-it feels almost magical. And in terms of a boy mom tip: keep a little washcloth handy to throw on him when taking off his diaper to prevent getting sprayed! It’s worked every time for these first 4 months 🤞

Same 😅 mine is 10mo now and OMG the nights are still soooooo bad. He's a severe reflux baby and has CMPA but he's my biggest pride and love. Boys are always very close to their mamas but like you....don't think I'll ever be ready for n°2 😐
