Not quite as ironic, if a legendary item is called Exterminator’s in Fallout 4, it has only to do with mirelurks and things of that sort, not bugs.

Damn I’ve played this game for years and found bugs glitch’s and all sorts of stuff yet I didn’t even know this existed until you posted a short on it😢😢
Also in HOI4: Old World Blues (Fallout HOI4 mod set on the West coast before Fallout:New Vegas) the Roach king is a playable faction
I thought why haven't i met him, considering he's easy to encounter, but then remembered that when i met him he was fighting super mutant behemoth
I think I remember checking out this house and was suprised there was nothing there. Was not level 35 yet.
I wish all the fallout games would have a human king and queen leader you could come across as random encounters like mole king the 5th or something like that
Ive been playing fallout 4 for years and didnt know the roach king was in the game never encountered him
I found a legendary radroach there, it gave me the best pipe rifle ever, 50% limb damage
I saw him while I had mods on and I thought he was like a troll mod sent to kill me like a unbeatable enemy
I’m gonna go look now! I can’t remember if I’ve met him previously tbh. I definitely remember meeting the Fallout 3 version, sitting on his Throne in the Capital Wasteland ✨
This encounter would be better if we got a syringer dart type that could befriend rad roaches or somethin
For the record, he’s either a creation club character or a modded character. I forget but I’ve installed him before
Haven't run across him on my latest run through. However I may save my Fat Man and some Mini Nukes for him.
In all my playthroughs of Fallout 4 i encountered him all times which is like 14 times
i beat both games 3-4 times and never encountered him in both of these games. Just shows how much this game has to offer :D
You have to be 20 levels higher than him for you to be able intimidate him.

I killed this npc because it started attacking without any warning. Killed him and got my first gatling laser. Was just happy for the first gatling laser in my playthrough lol

Using s fuckin Gauss rifle to kill radroaches is the Fallout equivalent of using buckshot for spiders
You can never be too careful
Think of it this way a standard cockroach can survive almost anything we are talking about a mutated one 50 to 100 times its normal size if not more than that I’m using every weapon I have preferably something that burns hot as shit so a flame thrower or a plasma rifle
@@mfab399 cockroaches cannot withstand very much lmao. If you're talking abt how they can supposedly survive nukes, that's only referring to the radiation after the fact, not the blast itself. You can still kill a roach like any other bug

A gun that shoots SAWBLADES, sawblades that also bounce around the area potentially killing more than one target.
In the wasteland it's usually a shoot first ask questions later vibe, so I'd say he's being very polite!

I had passed by that location many times when I was lower level, after getting to 35+ I ended up going by that location again, except this time Regi was there with a laser gat, shocked and surprised the hell out of me the first time I encountered him.

Yeah, it felt like I was missing something cuz that was a lot of detail for a few roaches. In our defence, by lvl 35 that area of the map is flyover country.

Roaches appear pretty much everywhere in the beginning
Just so everyone knows, I'm pretty sure this isn't a case of unique dialogue for named NPCs. The line the player says when pacifying in this video happens often when pacifying any radroaches, so it was likely reused on purpose to make the reference very clear.
On another note, I LOVE the variety of voice lines when pacifying various enemies. They can be really fun.
First time I ever encountered him I had a modern weapons mod installed that lets you carry around a Panzer IV cannon. He was carrying that. Hardest fucking encounter ever
lol every encounter with a rocket or nuke launcher gives me a scare. i play on survival so dying and being spent to the past is the worst

@DixieCrusader-X- levelling up fast with high intelligence is fun. Does radiotion give any negative atribute in survival? I know it only limits the max health in normal mode but don't remember if it does anything else in normal
I know exactly what building that guy is found in because I'm always attacked by an army of roaches there, but I've never been a high enough level to encounter him

I did in my latest playthrough and got a fat man. Forgot the legendary effect because I'm playing in survival and fat man isn't practical

That's the difference between those games and Fallout 4. In Fallout 3 or New Vegas, they'd model new equipment for these special encounters to wear. In Fallout 4 they use generic assets.
He shows the encounter from Fallout 3 and you can see that he has no unique apparel... is critical thinking a bygone skill?

I’ve encountered him a couple times myself. He was at his most entertaining though when he popped up in MATN’s YOLO run. 😂

I know that place, but never ran into him. Maybe because i get there pretty son after the start by the minuteman quest, taking out those raiders at corvega
Unfortunately, no I have not. As I've been attempting to Permadeath Fallout 4, and most runs end up dead at the Museum of Freedom.
Why? Cause the Deathclaw's AI makes it keep running away, around a building, and back. So I end up losing most of my ammo. Or it glitches through the doorframes. And either 1 shots me, or 2 shots me before I can escape.
My only question would be why not try skipping that quest and doing some other side quests or the like to level up and get better gear before heading back to your slaughterhouse? (x

Dude... don't jump down with the mini gun. Stay on the rooftops. I forget where the trigger for the deathclaw is, but you can jump between buildings in you aren't wearing the power armor.
Just do that macarena round the burnt out truck in the middle it won't be able to get past it
I started blasting raiders from the rooftops along with preston. It went suprisingly well. After a while the deathclaw shows up and he will attack the remaining raiders giving you time to put some dents in it. I did this on survival with the laser musket and using preston as main bait. Just do not jump down when you exit the museum.
You can people up at gun point in Fallout 4? I thought all enemies would attack you automatically and not allow you to do such a thing. If i could not kill certain aggressive npcs i would, but they dont give me that option so i have no choice to either kill them or die myself.
Was just at this zone didnt know this at all (i wasn't high enough leveled for him to spawn doing a new playtrough)

i was 12 and i remember the little playground like it was yesterday just didnt realise it was the roach king. I have only ever seen him then and i thought it was the antagonist cause of same antenna hat.

I seen him from the bridge up top doing the first railroad mission watched his roaches attack and kill him I just went down and grabbed his loot Gauss rifle and deck out
His armor is pretty cool looking!

When I first encountered him, I had a mod that replaced all radroaches in the game with none other than Gary. So needless to say, it was strange to see a man named Regi light me up from afar while an army of Garys charged at me. Even worse was when one of them picked up Regi's gatling laser after I killed him, and finished me off

in fo4 he spawns after level 40. there's a lot of easily missed encounters in fo4
It's a shame that we often lose game content due to bad programming. Every time I start a new run, I decide to take different routes, and I always end up finding some new character or dialogue. Thanks to mods, I sometimes find dialogues I’ve never heard before (and my game is in Spanish, so it's easy to tell the original from the modded content, haha)
