I think very few have understood the magnitude of this update. The power that we were given in our hands with this tool crashes many rendering engines to the ground. Thank you D5 team, for this magnificent contribution. I know that the next updates will be tremendous.
Absolutely game changing! Have been using the scatter tools this week and it saves so much time . Can’t wait till we can add these custom scatter presets to the cloud for use on other projects !
OH MY GOD! Everything was AMAZING! But for me, the cherry on top is the possibility to DETACH an object! I cant describe how amazing that is! I had a situation where I liked the scatter distribution, but only in one scene a tree was in front of the camera! Now I can simply detach this tree and occult on the view!

Literally a built in Forestpack! This is a game changer, it’s like I’m slowly uninstalling 3DS plugins and migrating everything over to D5. Now to somehow use custom imported plants or objects and use it to scatter 🤔

It would be great if we could add custom models, such as pebbles and rocks for architectural landscapes, to the scattering engine. The current selection of these assets in the D5 library is quite limited.
Very Nice Feature! Landscape architect here - I love seeing planting-focused tools becoming available. Please work on allowing plant model imports from other sources (Globe Plants or others) for even more realism!

Excellent as always guys. One question: Is it possible to bring a type of vegetation from outside, that is not in the library, animated or not, and use Scatter to spread it and apply it to the scene?

seems odd but I find some slight differences between what i see in the video and what i see in the software. For instance, the probability of occurrence is a parameter i don't see in my interface..... Any chance anybody is experiencing the same?
For me best part was to support space mouse in D5 2.7

bro This software uses GPU rendering, ray tracing, and you need an NVIDIA graphics card.
My GPU is 4070 ti 8 GB

3ds max chaos scatter, forest pack is dead
Forest pack is way more advanced than this...this is great for a realtime engine though. It's leagues ahead of Lumion.
But it sucks that it can only scatter plants from Asset library and not any object or or imported asset..
Gonna stick to Vray/Vantage for near future.
@@punithaiu this is also very laggy, I found. My app crashes every time unless I divide the surface and do it one by one
