Sensible discussion on Nunez. He was protecting his family. I think most would have done the same
You cannot under any situation watch your family get harmed by random drunks. If darwin gets in a fine/ban everyone will back him
His family was safe by the time he jumped in the stands. Everything after that point can be questioned and if he’s banned we can’t complain honestly.
@@Abslfc and him running around trying to throw a chair into the crowd what's that got to do with protecting family.
Coz they hurt his fam what's so hard to understand. It don't matter if they were in the pitch. He sees the people there and in heat of moment wanted to hurt them back. @@nglforbes
@@erlinghakaku9967 yeah I get that and I would do the same thing, but when I’m handed a ban I won’t complain either. If someone slaps you in the street and you turn around and stab them your still getting in trouble because you went over board. Same sort of thing here. He went back in the stands because his team mates were still in the crowd that’s the only angel I see saving him and the rest of the his team mates that jumped in. He could say he was helping them if they still had members in the crowd but as for him saying he was saving his family, I don’t think that will cut it seen as his family was already safe by this point.
Honestly so proud of Nunez, one of the best role models around not many better inspirations around in sports
There’s definitely a selection of fans that seem to genuinely dislike Darwin. Could never dislike one of our own myself. He did exactly what any other parent would do in that situation. As cal said, a lot would probably do a lot worse
defending his family 100%.... but did he have to attempt to chuck a steel chair at them ?🤔🤣
I agree with everything said lads but I think the video at the end of Darwin with the chair is before hes fighting in the stands you can tell as when hes throwing the chair the stadium still looked full behind him, when hes fighting in the stands most of the fans had gone by then
Cal, with the "I would have done worse" thing (in a crowd), a boring extraction from a volatile environment is better. You want to control the escalation ladder.
I’m with you Cal
If Virg fancies a fresh start then big up to him. I think it’s time we prepare for a new era
As a man he stood on business! I don't care about the chair part it ain't easy to turn it off in a situation where your family has been put in danger. If any Uruguayan player is fined or banned, each club and the Uruguayan FA should sue FIFA or whoever ran that tournament
16:13 My boi Darwizzy comes slide-cancelling in like he's running hacks 💀💀 There's no chance he's not catching a ban 😔
He was protecting his family i dont blame him we all would do the same
Was he protecting his family when he threw that chair?
@@pintohoareau579it’s an emotional response though. If I thought my kid was in danger, I don’t know if I could do any better. He’ll receive a ban or some disciplinary action for this regardless, and that’ll be that
@@pintohoareau579you retweet rival fan pages on Twitter bashing Nunez. Weirdo man with a proper obsession with him.
He will end up knocking a few years of your life, gotta calm it down pal. For your own sake. Try support the players that play for the club you apparently ‘support’
@@pintohoareau579you retweet pages on Twitter hating on Nunez. Are you able to help me understand why you have such a big problem with him? I always see your name bashing him in the comments here too. It seems like a real obsession. Could take a couple years of your life with the stress it must cause.
He plays for the club you apparently support. Surely we back all the players and not hate on any of them whilst they wear our shirt? What’s the problem with Darwin? Genuinely curious
@@curtisjackson2478 You need to unfollow me lad.
Thanks for the content
Im fully behind Nunez! Dude is never in doubt! Dude is passionate! We need Nunez! This is the US! The US couldnt organize a party to save their lives!
The US condones drinking at their games!!!! The US forced Brazil to allow drinking at their games in 2014 or something!!!!! Lets not hold the US to being some sort of advanced civilisation theyve shown otherwise!!! Im not going to get political!
The brawl is justified, the chair throwing however is gonna get him in trouble. The security guard saved him by blocking his throw. If that chair hit the Colombian fans it would've been a pitch invasion.
At no point did he raise the chair aiming it at the fans, but smashed the chair against the hoardings, they'll have a hard time proving intent
Big up Cal I missed the start of the stream way to back Nunez
It's the fault of the security they had to be dumb to allow the family's to sit there and not enough police it's disgusting to blame the player I stand by Nunez 1000th % YNWA ❤
USA taking an L in security. First Copa America and now Donald Trump.
If nunez gets a ban so should the Colombian fans
Makes sense that Virgil would quit international football
World cup is in america. They let people down massively with security and having fans sat mixed
He will definitely get a ban unfortunately but not protecting his family but the swing of the chair which was prevented 🔴
Lads, 'protecting your family' means getting your family out of danger, not getting involved in fights. He lost the head and acted like a violent thug, whatever the reason. That's not to blame him - we can all lose the head in certain circumstances, but he went into the crowd for a fight. That's not just 'protecting his family', come on
@@TerribleEnglish and the video of him by himself with a chair trying to toss it into the crowd , the whole crowd had different people in it women children that chair could have hit anyone.
Streets are saying Nunez missed all his punches 🥊
Missed 2 sitters again in that game!!
Justice to Nunez and his beautiful family. Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere. We truly have to fight and protect the rights of our people. Humanity is everything and everywhere 🙏🏽♥️
As Liverpool, there will only be 1 reason why I want Nunez to get banned now, it's just to give him time to rest, but do it 3 months max, make it respectful, it's like imagine if your house got robbed and your family like wife and children involved, you will want to take a break from work, go and help your family member, get therapy for yourself and your family member, it'll be weird if you can just go back to work like normal. So I hope he go and get a small rest even if it's not a ban, I hope Liverpool allow him to get more break, I want him to come back at 100%, not stay at 50% the whole season for what happened.
Ye the Colombian guy it dosent mean fans attack players familys no excuses man
Let's been real look how many midfielders we have... we ain't getting no midfielders
South Americans are passionate! This is what we signed up for in our players! this is what we signed up for with Klopp fist pumping the crowd!!! Im fully behind Nunez! Have always been! take away Nunez's fire and we lose the player!!
This is a rowdy scene...not passion. People like to talk about fire...if you deal with fire, better learn to control it before it handles you.
And rivals fans tryna mock he miss this he miss that says all about this modern football fans…I support whole heartedly my brave striker Darwin Nunez❤Nunez Nunez Nunez💪
Drift dubai and Saudi Arabia is like that no crime leave ur valuables on street 24 hours and no1 will touch or steal it
But draw a picture of a certain someone and you might get your head chopped off innit
@@tubomite6701 I'd take not being able to draw a picture of a certain someone for no daily violence or crime on the streets
@@tubomite6701 always sum1 with a agenda
Based on these videos alone, I see why the players would be furious. That being said, once the families are safe you step out, you have more to lose than drunks.
Generally speaking, why do fellas automatically think they win a fight simply because they are right?
Right does not make might, and thugs don't care, I wonder how often good folks end up on the sidewalk with the last thought being "but I w😢as right"?
It may not sound nice, but let's be realistic, being a "man" doesn't give you an automatic crowd shield, sometimes you stoop to conquer. With a crowd, that could have been worse.
My brother was killed on holiday in Phuket when a drunk man entered his room via the balcony naked. My brother got his baby boy and his wife out the room by fighting the other guy off and was strangled to death. Anyone who can find fault w what Nunez did finds fault with what my brother did and that person is wrong no matter what logic they apply
I'm sorry to hear that. It must have been terrible!
Did they catch the guy? I hope he got a serious sentence!
@@joshharding1010 nah he made it back to Norway and despite writing to D Raab, nothing was ever done. So he is walking around Oslo last year and avoided any prosecution.
Seriously we need to get behind Nunez!!! If anything Slot needs to put an arm round the Nunez family! the entire LFC needs to get behind and protect Nunez! Everyone is already blaming Nunez for losing the Uruguay game single handedly.... this is just magnifying Nunez's feelings
Suarez was a repeat offender tho Cal. So when he bit Chiellini they kinda had to make a statement. I completely understand Darwin's reaction. It's a normal human reaction, but he will get banned....because rules
Seeing you guys squirm over Van Dijk is nice
Crying about Holland being robbed is ridiculous. In the build up to Xavi Simmons goal he fouled Rice.
Sorry to say watched all the content of the fights Uruguay fans started the beef in the crowd as sore lovers there's multiple vids of there fans not happy tryna start shit it was thr Colombians who then reacted and there's a video of nunez throwing a chair almost after to the fans madness
Why do fan's have to back Nunez without question? He was 100% justified in going up there and getting his family without doubt. After that it's clear that he's lost his head and once all the families were out should leave and get back to the dressing room. A ban, if any at all should be lenient ,as the lack of police presence put them in that situation, imo. Don't want this to turn into a Suarez- Evra situation where LFC fan's are turning a blind eye to a guy's indescretions. Deleting his LFC pic's on Insta and this incident show's his head is not in a good place, LFC's top brass won't like this imo and thing's could turn sour very quickly.
Darwin deleting pictures on instagram is a bit different to Suarez and evra LOL
Wiefer is better then shoultan in my opinion 😊
I love Liverpool. I love Darwin Nunez. But when he climbed into the stand why did he not go looking for his family to make sure they were ok? From the videos I have seen he didn’t do that. He went into the stand, ignored his family and immediately started fighting supporters. I’m yet to see a video where Darwin seeks out his family to make sure they were ok. I fear there is a long ban on its way and that LFC will get rid of him.
Just because there's no footage of him moving his family to safety doesn't mean he didn't, did you not see the footage of how he was with his family afterwards and they were no longer in the stands - and why would his carreer be over because of a long ban? was it over for Toney, Tonali, Rio, Cantona etc ? also he wasn't the only Uruguay player throwing punches, seeing it all happened because of lack of security, think Uruguay would challenge multiple bans
i don’t understand what family he’s protecting? he needs to be standing by them and make sure nothing and nobody gets close to them not climbing at the stands to feed his pride or anger. so stupid by Darwin.
He was protecting his family by throwing a chair.
What family? He was protecting his family as were other Uruguay players, keeping Colombian fans away from their loved ones who were then removed from the stands
@@pintohoareau579grrrrrrrrrr 😡 why are people backing Darwin. Let me retweet more rival fans mocking Darwin 🤣 absolute idiot
I'm sorry but it was 1 colombian causing trouble and njnez didn't need to go in crowd like that and throw punches wen it was calming down
Thank you.
You should be band not him
No disrespect im tired hearing about nunez its always something to do with him last time it was his family getting threats on Instagram which i think was made up bullshit now its this or itss about him scoring goals for Uruguay but people will forget his 4 big misses against Colombia done nothing against Brazil this guy is a walking emotional story takes attention off all then others players we have ,im interested to see whats next . everything about him is drama how he splits the fan base.
Well it wouldn't be the first time a Liverpool player recieved death threats from a bunch of moreons
I'm sick of him.
@@paulinebarbara5665 yeah and they just get on with it and don't erase Liverpool from their profiles don't get me wrong if it was actually true that is unacceptable and they are not true fans they are idiots but I don't believe that's he even got death threats there was no actual evidence of this just internet talk. Just a way for people to feel sorry for him . I just watched another video of him by himself running with a chair trying to throw it into the Colombian crowd what has that got to do with protecting family.
@@DariusJHoareau so am I 👍🏾
Why do you lot always lie? Im genuinely curious. It’s always lies. 4 big chances? Ironic considering you’re saying someone is lying about death threats. I’m also tired of hearing about Nunez. I’m tired of people always bashing the guy, constantly seeing his name and him being mocked. By rivals or ‘fans’
If you don’t like the guy just say it. You’re almost making it sound like it’s his fault his family were in harms way. There was also 9 other players involved. Look it up a bit more.
How are Uruguayan fans stealing stuff when stadium was 80% Colombia fans sorry chris but i think thats a lie mate
Saliba is better than Virgil, it ain’t close
🤣🤣
I'm very disappointed in you lads. Why is it when it comes to Nunez we treat him like a special child? His family was safe on the pitch. He didn't have to climb up there and start escalating the situation. If you look closely it was starting to calm down before Nunez got up there punching up people like a madman. And out of all the Uruguay players it had to be him didn't it? Instead of talking about his misses that cost Uruguay this game we're talking about this drama.
So you're in favor of him being banned?
@@DariusJHoareau really not that deep, a very fair and level headed discussion. If you want to watch people pile on Nunez you won’t have to look far, just not here. He did the right thing.
Were you there??????????????????????????
Did you hear anything from both sides of the fans???????????
Again …..were you there???????
And did you see his family on the pitch?
@@oliviodasilva8904he didn't say that. Just that people shouldn't be molly cuddling him due to having a 'hot head'. If events happened as he said then he could have handled it better. However, I'd need to see the whole thing to make a decision personally. It's understandable losing it when it comes to family but if it's already over, then you need to keep your anger in check. Sometimes keeping family safe means not aggravating a situation. Still, understandable given the circumstances. Either way we should support him fully.
@@tekemba1990 none of us were there. We're arriving at our own conclusions with the only videos that we have. Your point is irrelevant.
Watch that link ...urugauy fans started it watching all the other vids unfortunately
Nunez has messed up his Liverpool career
Lets not hide the fact that Darwin Nunez missed like 5 clear cut chances to score for Uruguay, crap
Against Columbia?
Well, that's a lie lol
@@curtisjackson2478 yeah bro he coulda easily had a hat trick lol
@@KOPISH he coulda easily had a hat trick lol
I'll be honest... Firstly Uruguay as a footballing nation haven't got the best reputation in the slightest. I'll start with just that!
His family were fine, he had them nice and safe... at most say what you need to say to the fans, or exchange a few words with dude in the crowd and then keep it moving! Instead he just continued to hype up the situation. Nunez ain't about that life, dude isn't no cage fighter. As if any of them were really going to riot with the Colombian fans, just sit yourself down!
He just done too much imo. I'm a Nunez supporter but I'm really not surprised in the slightest LOL! Dude just loves some drama.
I think that men with a knot in their hair should all be banned .
