Star Wars Outlaws is an open world action-adventure RPG that comes out on August 30th. It's not on Steam, so you'll have to get it through Ubisoft's store: store.ubisoft.....

Something is SERIOUSLY wrong with your PC if it's doing all that. On my PC it absolutely looks exactly like the videos shown by Ubisoft with nice, clear, crisp non blurry textures.
i9-12900K @ 5.5GHz, 64GB RAM, RTX 4090 @ 1440p with the game running on the hidden unlocked Max/Outlaw preset (-unlockmaxsettings in the ubisoft launcher). My game runs at at a solid 100-120 FPS.
My partner uses an RTX 3080, and the game looks FAR FAR better than your video. Something is really wrong with your PC

I kinda like the glowing orange hallway though.
When it properly loads, Toshara is one of the prettier game worlds I have ever seen. And the lighting in its main hub (which includes said glowing orange hallway) is stellar.
So the orange walls are because the texture didn't load? I thought the orange was on purpose?
This is such a normal thing for Ubisoft and EA these days that it's a given that you should wait a year, let them patch it, let modders fix other stuff, and then buy it half-price.
What are ur pc specs? Its always usual that pc games on release day that also have a console release, they most the time struggle with optimization on pc. Look at jedi survivor when that released last year. I couldnt even progress on it as my game kept crashing on pc.
Now look at devs who dont release until pc version is optimised and playable like rockstar. Their pc version releases almost a year later. Which shows the extra work needed to optimise for 1000s of variations in hardware...
Games are optimised better on console because theres no variations like pc. But the game runs smooth af on hdmi 2.1 4k tv using an series x.
Im really enjoying the game, best star wars game to date.

They should have just given her a hammer a wrench or something. Even if the protag was some big hulking dude, punching a helmet barehanded is just dumb lmao.

Why did you mention the steam refund window? The game isn’t on steam.
Fair question. Steam's two-hour refund window has for many become a standard in gauging whether a game is "worth it." I thought it would be helpful for folks to know that it didn't satisfy that criteria for me, whether or not it was on Steam. It was just a small note.
when you see a trailer of a game... you always assume it's not gonna look exactly the same. but damn... it was worst than I thought. also the price... 100$
Still a mess graphically for early access. Gameplay is fun but the most broken thing I’ve encountered is on controller it locks the screen in a crap angle and has to be broken by pressing aim and does this repeatedly in tight areas.
This is ubisoft meeting expectations they've set for many years lol. 1.0 doesn't mean squat in the age of patches so there's no QA lol
Most games are broken especially before release as there is always a day 1 patch

Your pc must be a potato. I had no issues and I’m rocking a old ass rtx 2080ti & been playing since the 26th of August.
The patch that fixed things for me went live on August 23rd, which is why it ran well for you by the 26th.

Imagine - you get access to one of the biggest franchises on the planet and THIS is the result? After all the screenshots, hype (I guess!), videos, trailers, dev diaries, promo materials, ads etc., it looks like it barely made it through a BETA build.
This actually made me reflect on and appreciate Tron: Identity so much more.

If there’s one thing that still looks consistently off in SWO, even after the stability patch on August 23, it’s Kay’s hair. It flickers and blurs in the weirdest ways.
